ARK: Survival Evolved, New game event launched

With the Dinosaur hype way above our heads, looking to see the new Jurassic World in cinemas the coming week, we see Studio Wildcard, the developing team behind the game ARK: Survival Evolved, introduced and launched at the same time a new in-game event. The trailer for the event can be viewed below to see what it may store for the  players

Dubbed as ARKaeology, this limited time event has a bunch of different features packed in for the players. It encourages players to look for multiple ARKs for fossil mounds that can be used later on for finding Dinosaur bones which can be used to create new skins in the cooking pot. The collectable skins include:

  • Skeleton Dinos
  • Dilophosaurus Mask (Hat Skin)
  • Brachiosaurus (Brontosaurus Costume)
  • Stygimoloch (Pachycephalosaurus Costume)
  • Styracosaurus (Triceratops Costume)

Along with this, it also brings forward the Tek-Rex. As the name would suggest, its a teched out version of the T-Rex. The players can tame, and grow this creature which is stronger than its counterpart beasts. This Sci-fi beast is surely a treat for everyone. Since its launch into Steam’s early access program in June 2015, over 13 Million survivors have been stranded on the ARK island, wandering into an incredible land to discover how to tame, train, ride, and breed the 100+ dinosaurs and primaeval creatures roaming the land.
