Bioware: Anthem Is A Result Of Many Different Pitches

20-30 In Total

Anthem is a game from Bioware that we are very excited about and while we got a closer look at the game at E3 2018 the fans still want to know more. Unfortunately, the game is not coming out this year so you will have to wait a while before you can get into one of your own Javelins. According to Bioware Anthem is a result of many different pitches and ideas.

BioWare’s Casey Hudson talked about the origin of Anthem and how they came up with the idea for the game. The following is what she had to say:

“We had people from all around BioWare and throughout the team pitching ideas. We did 20 or 30 different original [pitches] during the first pass. We’d all go off, and you’re inspired by something […] and you’re, ‘Hey, I think I know how everything should be” and you write that all out and you pitch it. It’s really interesting, because […] you get a value system around what you like and what feels right, but then you start to say, ‘We liked this one part of [this pitch], but the rest of it didn’t work, but we like this other thing and the two sit really nicely together.’ That was the process we used to get off of the blank page.”

Bioware was responsible for Mass Effect Andromeda and we all know how that turned out to be. This time, it seems that the team has much more creative freedom as compared to Mass Effect Andromeda. Similar games are under scrutiny, as is the case with Destiny 2 and Star Wars Battlefront II. Having that said we will have to wait and see how Anthem does things and what it brings to the table in order to differentiate itself from the rest of the games out there.

Anthem looks to be a very interesting game and if executed well this could be a great experience for the games. There is still some time before the game comes out so we will keep giving you details regarding the game, which you might be interested in. Stay tuned for further updates.
