Atlas Fallen: Game Length [How Long To Beat]

As Atlas Fallen is due to release on 10th August 2023, fans are curious about its game length and how long will it take to beat it 100%. This article covers the roughly estimated game length that the players can expect from Atlas Fallen. Keep in mind, the estimates are based on statements and interviews from the Executives who were involved during the production of Atlas Fallen.

How Long To Beat Atlas Fallen Campaign?

Creative director, Jan Klose, suggests players will likely need 15-20 hours to complete the main storyline of Atlas Fallen, and an additional 10 hours for side quests and additional tasks, totaling 25-30 hours for 100% completion.

These times vary based on individual play styles and include exploration and puzzle-solving. Atlas Fallen’s duration aligns with the industry trend towards quality over quantity, catering to the average gamer’s weekly time commitment.

Focus Entertainment, the publishers, and Deck13, the developers of Atlas Fallen have been periodically updating about Atlas Fallen including combat, exploration, and also, game length. Most notably, the creative director, Jan Klose was asked by SegmentNext about how much time it would take to complete Atlas Fallen for a full 100%. Jan Klose responded by saying:

Well, yes, this is a difficult question because it’s so different for everyone! But I think you can easily sink 25-30 hours into the game if you want to complete every little task

While it is very true that every player’s experience is unique and thus they take different amounts of time to complete similar games like Atlas Fallen. That is why I can roughly estimate from the statement that Atlas Fallen can safely be completed within 25 to 30 hours if one was to complete not just the main missions but also the side quests. 

Side Quest Content

This is what Jan Klose refers to when he mentions ‘every little task’. Further, I take it from the statement above that it will roughly take 15-20 hours to complete the main missions and story in Atlas Fallen, while the rest would be dedicated to the side quest content. 

However, It must also be mentioned that this is still not an extremely accurate number. It could take you more hours too and then again, that would be a subjective matter. Exploration and traveling within Atlas Fallen is a major aspect of Atlas Fallen and thus the time will definitely vary from person to person. It was also revealed that Atlas Fallen contains hidden puzzles apart from the side quests that are designed to find more secrets, thus making Atlas Fallen lengthier. 

For now, though, I have a rough time bracket in hours. And to some, it may have come off as a surprise. But why is that the case? Is Atlas Fallen too short? I don’t think so.

Is Atlas Fallen Game Length Too Short?

No. Some pre-release reviewers or critics may be surprised by the game length but Atlas Fallen has the perfect game length instead and there is a good reason why. The gaming industry in recent years has been producing games that require not more than 30 hours to complete.

Further, the largest bracket of gamers around the world spends around 10 hours per week on their favorite hobby, gaming. Thus, the Atlas Fallen game can be completed within two to three weeks. Quality over quantity triumphs here. This makes it a perfect action role-playing video game and we’re excitedly waiting for its release!

That is pretty much everything I had to discuss about the Atlas Fallen game length and how long to beat it. Just like most open-world RPGs, this game too will have extended hours to complete the main story plus side content and I for one cannot wait enough to dive my head into the vast world of Atlas Fallen.
