The Best AK74u Class Cold War: AK74u Loadout Guide [Season 6]

My guide entails the complete loadout, with AK74u being a primary weapon of choice. Other than that, I have mentioned the secondary weapon along with the attachments you should go with.

The complete setup of primary and secondary guns is necessary for the loadout to become a viable asset in becoming a killing machine using the AK74u as the main weapon in Season 6 of Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War. Best Attachments For AK74u Loadout

Now that you know the weapon stats of AK74u, you must also make yourself aware of the best attachments to equip. Slotting in the right attachments makes the difference between your AK74u and your enemy running with the same gun but with different attachment combinations.

Depending on how good or bad these combos are, one can destroy another or be taken out. So, let’s get down to the brass tacks of selecting the perfect AK74u SMG attachments.

• In the stock state, AK74u comes with 38/31/30/27 base damage (depending on where the bullet lands) in multiplayer.
• However, while shooting at the head, a 1.4 multiplier applies to the base damage.
• This SMG also has a total of 30 rounds in its stock magazine and comes with 697 rounds per minute (RPM).
• The base or stock stats of AK74u are not enough for it to become a true kill-streak weapon material in Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War.
• So, players must slot in the attachments to take the overall feel of the weapon up a notch.

The Secondary Weapon Loadout

Now that you know the complete list of attachments that you need to slot into the AK74u to make it a killing machine, you should also have a reliable secondary weapon by your side. For this AK74u loadout, I recommend going with the Sunburst secondary weapon.

For attachments, I go with the following options:

• Muzzle: Sound Suppressor
• Barrel: 7.2” Reinforced Heavy
• Body: SWAT 5MW Laser Sight
• Magazine: Salve 30 RND Fast Mag
• Stock: Dual Wield

Best Perks & Wildcard

For the sake of this AK74u5 SMG class, I equipped the Gunfighter Wildcard. This gives you room to install more than five number of attachments on the primary weapon. Since my entire loadout circles around AK74u, equipping more attachments is a befitting idea.

Here are all the perks that you should equip while going with my suggested AK74u loadout.

• Flak Jacket
• Scavenger
• Ninja

For starters, I highly recommend picking up the “Flak Jacket” from the Perk 1 tab.

• Since the playstyle favors run-and-gun, you should have a tad bit more invincibility from Molotovs, combat bow flames, and other explosives, and Flak Jacket offers them all.
• From the Perk 2 tab, players must select the “Scavenger” perk.
• Regardless of a large-sized magazine, SMGs are notoriously infamous for running out of ammo quickly in multiplayer matches. 
•  Loadout for Perk 3 tab, the “Ninja” is an excellent perk you should go with.

Best Equipment

The equipment is the key to making this loadout a success. Equipping the perfect primary and secondary weapon’s attachments is alone not enough to warrant more kills or winning a match. So, for the sake of this loadout, I have suggested the following equipment setup you should go with.

Stim Shot

For the tactical slot, I recommend picking up the “Stim Shot”. For the run-and-gun kind of playstyle and also while using SMGs, Stim Shot is a must-have tactical. It allows the character to start the healing process instantly.

Semetex

In the lethal slot, players must select the “Semtex”. This is a much better explosive than the regular grenade.

Field Upgrade

For the final equipment, the “Trophy System” is highly recommended. This is the perfect equipment to counter the enemy’s thrown equipment and missiles within 10 meters radius.

My Take On AK74u 

I highly recommend taking insights from my loadout if you want to master the AK74u weapon a. My loadout is not focused around hip fire shooting as all the attachments slotted into this powerful SMG is to shred opponents in close to mid-range combat engagements.

Moreover, my playstyle also favors a run-and-gun kind of gameplay while using the above-suggested loadout. Of course, the success of killing multiple enemies in a single confrontation is still based on how you are good in the game. The loadout I suggested is not the only solution to shred opponents with AK74u.
