My Opinions On The Best Spells
Spells are overpowered, and as I’ve experienced, they can make your game much easier. So, if you want to finish your run quickly, then you can go for them, but if you want to experience and fight bosses to know how hard they are, then go for a melee build. If you are going for a Mage Build, then I think you must try spells like Carian Slicer, Comet Azur, and Loretta’s spells.
Carian Slicer is a great spell that you can use quickly. While the damage isn’t that high, the DPS potential is high due to its breakneck speed. Comet Azur is a beam that shreds most of the bosses. So, if you have proper equipment and buffs, you can one-cycle a boss. In my opinion, there are some Faith Spells that are great, so make sure to try spells that scale with Faith.
