Throughout most of the game, you’ll be climbing, jumping, puzzle solving, and shooting your way past most of the levels. However, every now and then, you’ll enter an area where you’re meant to either keep your disguise or remain as stealthily as possible.

Like most stealth games, the enemies have a line-of-sight detection system, and it’s indicated by cones above their heads. Because Nathan is so agile and acrobatic, you can usually climb around most of your enemies and get behind them for a takedown.

Uncharted 4 also introduced a rope mechanic in the game that lets you swing around and even come down with an aerial takedown. As mentioned, Uncharted 4 is not a pure stealth game. But if you love a mixture of action games with a slight hint of stealth, then Uncharted 4 is worth considering.

Batman Arkham City

There’s already one Batman Arkham game featured in the list, but it’s hard not to include Arkham City, considering how well-received it was when it came out.

Following the events of Arkham Asylum, Gotham has decided to create an entire Arkham City, with Hugo Strange in charge, to lock away all of the dangerous criminals of Gotham. However, everyone is against the idea, and during a protest speech, Bruce Wayne gets kidnapped and taken inside Arkham City.

It’s a common theme among Batman games that you’re weak to bullets, so the darkness is your ally. Arkham City makes you feel like the classic Batman in a more classic-like suit. Like Arkham Knight and other Arkham games, you’ll have many tools at your disposal, such as the Batarang, grapple hook, ability to glide around, heat-vision goggles, and a lot more.

But what makes Arkham City so memorable is how well the stealth mechanics are paced out with the story of the game. You’ll get access to new weapons when they make the most sense in the game, and the pacing never makes you feel too overpowered.

Furthermore, Arkham City has some of the best villain arcs. You have enemies like Ras’ al Ghul, the Joker, two-face, and a lot more. So, if you want to try a Batman stealth game, definitely give Batman Arkham City a shot.

Little Nightmares 2

The original Little Nightmares had a unique concept. You got to play a little person in a world filled with people, places, and objects that were way bigger than you. As it was a horror game, the giant scale of everything around you only added to the creepiness of the game.

Little Nightmares 2 takes the same approach and is a sequel to the first game. You get to play as Mono and are accompanied by Six, the protagonist of the first game. In this 2.5D world, you go from point to point and solve puzzles while trying to escape all of the horrors that are out to get you.

Despite being quite short, the game is well-paced, with each level being more exciting than the previous one. There’s always some sort of action that keeps you tense, from jumping through large gaps, escaping by the brink of your hair, to even climbing for your life.

The major stealth moments really come into play when you’re faced with the giant humanoid characters. Although many of those levels will require trial and error, you’ll feel a lot of satisfaction when you sneak past and solve the relevant puzzles to get past them.

So, if you’re a fan of games that make you feel small and useless while also providing you with ways to outsmart almost any threat, then Little Nightmares 2 is a great indie stealth game on PS4 to try out!

A Plague Tale: Innocence

A Plague Tale: Innocence is one of those games that people miss out on. But once you pick it up and give it a chance, it turns out to be one of the most memorable gaming experiences out there.

It is a single-player game that is heavily story-oriented. You follow Amicia in the 14^th century in France. There’s a war going on with Britain while the black plague is also at large. Amicia is accompanied by her little brother, Hugo, who has a mysterious sickness that doesn’t seem to be the plague.

So, throughout the game, you, along with Hugo, are trying to escape from the soldiers of the French Inquisition, avoiding the hordes of rats and also trying to figure out what’s wrong with Hugo.

The game pretty much adopts stealth mechanics by making you extremely weak. You can get taken out in one hit, so usually, stealth is the only option to get through most areas.

The rats are another huge part of the game. Many puzzles will have you surrounded by a lot of red-eyed rats. However, they’re scared of fire, so your main objective would be to use that as an advantage to make your way through to the next part of the game. And sometimes, you can use this mechanic to take out enemies by extinguishing their torches, making them susceptible to rat attacks.

So, if you’re looking for a stealth game with a good story, then definitely give A Plague Tale: Innocence a try! It’ll take you on a huge emotional rollercoaster ride and plenty of stealth gameplay!

Aragami

Aragami is an indie game that isn’t known much for its story, but in terms of stealth gameplay, it’s quite amazing. You get to play as Aragami, an assassin with supernatural abilities and the power to teleport between shadows.

The story is told through text dialogue, and although it’s not the main focus of the game, it’s still an interesting plot. You get summoned by an astral projection of a mysterious woman known as Yamiko. She tasks you with taking down the army of Kaiho so that she can be freed.

But coming onto the gameplay, that’s where Aragami really shines. You’re literally forced to play stealthily as the majority of the enemies in the game can one-shot you, so direct combat is hardly an option.

However, stealth is well thought out in the game. Teleporting from shadow to shadow sets you up to take down enemies with ease. But you need to plan your path carefully as one wrong step could get you spotted.

If you’re the type of player to play with friends, then Aragami has you covered with its co-op mode. You can come up with great stealth strategies where you coordinate attacks, distract enemies, and a lot more. So, if you’re looking for one of the best co-op stealth games on the PS4, then Aragami is a great contender.

Far Cry 5

Far Cry 5, or any Far Cry game, isn’t primarily a stealth game. But that doesn’t mean that they don’t have a lot of stealth opportunities in them, especially Far Cry 5. Most of the time, you’ll have access to so many weapons and items, such as RPGs, rifles, or grenades, that you can go guns-blazing and still make it out alive.

But the thing is, each encounter allows you to start off in stealth, and you can actually complete a lot of the missions and activities without being detected. Using bushes or objects as your cover, you can stay out of sight of your enemies. And you can get a lot of mods to help make stealth efficient.

The takedowns in Far Cry 5 are satisfying. You can attack someone from behind, attack them even if they’re across an object, and even perform aerial takedowns. You’ll have access to snipers with silencers to pick enemies off from afar or bow and arrow to get close and personal. And let’s not forget the throwing knives or throwable melee weapons that make you feel like a total ninja!

Additionally, sometimes going down the stealth path can save you a lot of trouble. When so many enemies get on top of you, it can be hard to process everything. But playing Far Cry 5 in stealth makes you feel in control of the situation!

Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun is a top-down game. It combines the stealth and the strategy game genre to create a real-time tactic stealth game, making it a great strategy stealth game for the PS4.

Throughout the game, you’ll be controlling a small team that has various skills. They can perform acts of espionage and assassinate enemies according to your commands. In fact, they’ll only perform actions according to your commands, so you need to be constantly thinking of what your next move will be.

A typical mission will usually entail you sneaking through things like bushes and taking out enemies without raising the alarm. You can, of course, lure enemies and also set traps to take them out. Besides that, you need to take care of dead bodies. If they get spotted, guards can raise the alarm too.

The enemies in the game have sight cones that you need to avoid while moving around. From stealing documents, overhearing conversations, and rescuing characters to capturing and killing special targets, there’s so much to do.

Pros:

• The world design and each stage structure are awe-inducing in Shadow Tactics.
• A vast array of strategic possibilities paired with a gaming mechanic based on stealth is very intriguing.

Mark Of The Ninja

If you’re a fan of 2D side-scrolling stealth games, then Mark of the Ninja might interest you! Although it is particularly old, there has been a remastered version that got released for the PS4. Although the game has an interesting story and is told through animated sequences, the game is better known for its gameplay.

Like many stealth games, Mark of the Ninja consists of you staying out of sight of guards while performing silent assassinations. There are various environments, and the levels consist of areas that are emerged in darkness and light.

Your character, a nameless ninja, is capable of hiding in dark areas, making him invisible to the enemies indicated by his attire turning completely black. You can also take out light sources to get more darkness to keep yourself hidden. You will also have access to objects to hide behind and narrow spaces and shafts to get to areas where the enemies can’t find you.

When you remain hidden, you can take out enemies with a single hit. However, if they spot you, you’ll have to fight hand-to-hand and take out enemies as quickly as possible. But you have the risk of getting taken out easily and also alerting the guards who can easily surround and put you down.

These challenges and the different ways to approach every level that makes Mark of the Ninja one of the best 2D stealth games on PS4.

Assassin’s Creed Origins

Assassin’s Creed Origins is the first time that the Assassin’s Creed franchise decided to adopt the RPG concept fully and made a huge open world that wasn’t completely filled with giant climbable buildings.

Set in Egypt, you play as one of the Medjay, Bayek of Siwa. He is on a quest to seek revenge for the murder of his son. On his journey, he also discovers the hidden truths about the forerunners to the Assassin’s Brotherhood, known as the Hidden Ones, and the forerunners to the Templars, known as the Order of the Ancients. You also get to explore some other origins such as the Creed’s logo, the hidden blade, and a lot more.

The game doesn’t forget its “origins,” as there is a certain amount of stealth involved. It is worth considering that as Assassin’s Creed Origins took a step in a different direction, the stealth is slightly lesser than previous entries in the franchise but still offers interesting scenarios, and definitely more than games like Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.

You can still approach enemies stealthily and still strike with your hidden blades. But you’ll need to ensure that you’re upgrading them if you want to take out tougher enemies with just one strike. You’ll also have access to your darts, smoke bombs, and the ability to hide in various pieces of furniture.

Assassin’s Creed Origins really is for players that love the typical stealth aspect of the Assassin’s Creed series but want a lot more exploration and a giant open world to explore.

Pros:

• In terms of graphics, Assassin’s Creed Origins is insanely enchanting and still unparalleled.
• The combat system is remarkable and rewarding in Assassin’s Creed Origins.
• The world is expansive offering tremendous side content to tinker with and various things to try out in Assassin’s Creed Origins.

• The combat mechanics set it apart from Classic Assassin’s Creed games which is the main drawback of Assassin’s Creed Origins.

The Evil Within 2

The Evil Within 2 took a slight departure from its prequel by incorporating a sort of open-world design with side quests as well. The game gets right into the plot from the start; you play as Sebastian Castellanos, who is still trying to recover from the events of the first game.

At the start, you’re mostly a drunk and mourning over your dead daughter, Lily. A former partner, July Kidman, reveals to him that his daughter is alive but got lost in a sort of simulation experiment. And it’s up to him to find and help her!

The game is survival horror. That means you can go rushing in with your guns, but soon you’ll find that you’re completely out of ammo and have no way of defending yourself in an open fight. And that’s where you start realizing that stealth is actually quite a huge part of The Evil Within 2.

Taking cover behind objects and sneaking up on enemies for a silent takedown cannot just help you stay alive longer but can also reserve your resources for some of the bigger fights in the game.

In fact, there is an entire skill tree dedicated to stealth that offers you moves like corner takedowns. And other skills can let you approach enemies quickly while sneaking and increase the time window for quiet takedowns! The Evil Within 2 is a great pick for those that are fans of the Resident Evil series.

• Several eerie scenes in The Evil Within 2 that alarm you make for improbable horrors.

• Backtracking can be bland in The Evil Within 2, and there are odd pacing problems and discrepancies in several of the chapters.
• The plot is not interesting enough for new players in The Evil Within 2.
• The open world seems lifeless in some scenes in The Evil Within 2.

Invisible Inc.

Invisible Inc. is a tactical espionage game that mixes elements of a roguelike and turn-based game. You basically play as a remote operator for an espionage agency that is under attack from multinational corporations.

You get to control random agents that you unlock after every mission. Each mission is a race against time, where you need to explore the level to find where your objective is. But as it is a turn-based game, you usually know where the guards will move, and you can easily get quite good at the game.

However, that doesn’t mean that there is nothing technical in the game. You have to manage your energy resources that are used to hack cameras and drones and perform other actions. The agents that you have on your team can affect how you gather or spend power.

There is also a sense of danger, considering that any agents that get left behind on the mission remain left behind unless you save them in a later mission. So, you have to try your best to keep everyone alive if you have an amazing team at your disposal.

If you love sci-fi turn-based games and want to feel like you’re in control of a giant espionage team, then Invisible Inc. has everything to keep you engaged for hours! 

Pros:

• The level design is eye-catching and random in Invisible Inc.
• Various tactical strategies with a wide array of various agent upgrades and gadgets keep the player engaged throughout the game.
• Gameplay with increased risk versus reward adds a great deal of complexity in Invisible Inc.
• Invisible Inc. has distinctive visual and clear audio aesthetics.

Cons:

• The main plot is constant and forgettable in Invisible Inc.
• Some hasty stages are simply too crowded which can be an annoyance for some players.
• The AI enemy is vulnerable and predictable.
• Some of the stages can get duplicative and unappealing in Invisible Inc.

Volume

• Release Date: January 6, 2016
• Developers: Mike Bithell Games

Volume is a top-down indie stealth game for the PS4 that is heavily inspired by the Metal Gear Solid series. In fact, you can think of it as if the Metal Gear Solid series met Pacman.

You get to play as Robert Locksley, who is pretty much a modern Robin Hood. The young thief discovers that there is going to be a military coup that will involve multiple heists. Robert, with the help of a device called the Volume, performs these heists virtually and broadcasts them to warn the entire world of the coup.

Much of the gameplay is actually you just undergoing these heists and stealthily going from one end to the other without being detected by the various safety mechanisms. Of course, like in many games, there are guards, but you can visually see their sight and range through vision cones.

If you get spotted by the guards, it’s not completely game over. You have a chance to break the line of sight. But if you’re not fast enough, then the level restarts. And you can’t kill any of the enemies either. Your only options are to distract and sneak past. If you’re tired of the chaotic stealth games, then Volume might be the game that you’re looking for!

Pros:

• The gameplay mechanics are hybrid and solid in Volume.
• The stealth aspect of Volume is strong and extremely engaging.
• It offers an innovative level design that keeps the player enrolled throughout the main campaign.
• Excellent voice acting, innovative gadgets, and a challenging difficulty curve make Volume more intriguing.

• The narrative is overbearing in Volume which interferes with the gameplay.
• The enemy UI is a bit dull and unpredictable.
• On PC, the controls feel cumbersome unless you modify them in Volume.

Republique

• Release Date: December 19, 2013
• Developers: Camouflaj

Republique is a stealth action adventure that plays out episodically, with each episode being more intense than the other. It almost feels like a realistic blend of Watch Dogs and Assassin’s Creed as you play as a young prisoner girl, without any crazy strength, trying to escape an unknown facility, the Metamorphosis.

The government controls everything inside the facility and reprograms those that live inside to forget everything about the outside world. You play as a kind of like a guardian angel for the main character, Hope, and view her by hacking into cameras and guiding her actions by also controlling her.

As Hope, your main objective is to get past enemies, pickpocket guards to steal items like keys from them, or complete any objective that gets her closer to escaping. Because you’re just a prisoner, you don’t have any intense combat abilities except for the use of pepper spray or taser. And if you get caught, you get taken to a nearby prison cell from which you must escape again.

When you’re controlling the cameras, you get to scout out upcoming areas and also keep Hope in line of sight. But if you do get too confused, the game does help you out by fixing the camera sight itself. You can also freeze time to plan out your actions to look around without worrying about enemies.

But you’ve got to hand it to Republique; they certainly came up with an interesting game. Especially considering that the game was initially released for mobile, and then it got upgraded for PC and PS4! If you want to feel like a badass hacking guardian angel, the game is worth checking out!

Pros:

• Multiple hidden collectibles to find throughout the game adds to the depth of Republique.
• Brilliant voice acting captures the player’s undivided attention.
• The stealth gameplay is intense and intriguing in Republique.

• Republique has not the best visuals compared to other games of this genre.
• Republique fails to effectively utilize VR.
• The perspective keeps you disconnected from the action in Republique which can be annoying for some players.

Styx: Shards Of Darkness

• Release Date: March 14, 2017
• Developers: Cyanide

Styx: Shards of Darkness is a sequel to the original Styx: Master of Shadows game. The game takes place decades after the first game. You play as a unique goblin who has human-like intelligence, despite the other goblins lacking that ability.

There is an interesting story with a lot of jokes and references to pop culture. But if you’re playing a stealth game, then you’re likely looking for something with good gameplay.

The game pretty much forces you to play stealthily, as you’re not that strong in normal combat. You can take out one or two guards if you get spotted, but when they all start coming at you, there’s hardly anything that you can do except run away.

But that’s not an issue, as many mechanics support stealth in Styx: Shards of Darkness. The game offers you many ways to tackle a single level. You can jump on roofs, hide behind objects, hide in barrels, make clones of yourself, hide inside closets, climb ropes, and a lot more!

And if that’s not enough, then there is a pretty vast stealth tree too. The skills, such as cloning yourself, going invisible, or placing specific traps, are paced quite well according to the progression of the game. So, it never feels like you’re too overpowered or under-leveled for any challenge.

On top of that, there is plenty of content in the game. Each level feels like a mini-open world of its own. And the game takes you to some interesting places such as airships, towns, dark caves, and moonlit areas. All of these places make for some great stealth opportunities!

Pros:

• Solid and sensitive controls enhance the overall experience of the game.
• In terms of graphics, Styx: Shards of Darkness is a decent-looking game.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

Is Sekiro or any other SoulsBorne games really stealth games? Not traditionally. But are there many areas that can let you sneak around and actually give you a better chance of surviving if you do so? Definitely.

Sekiro, like many of FromSoftware’s games, is incredibly challenging with its parry-focused combat. Most of the enemies can kill you within seconds if you’re not careful, and you will undoubtedly die several dozen times trying to defeat a single boss. But that’s what makes these games addicting!

You play as a Shinobi wolf, Sekiro, who takes on a samurai clan that attacked him and kidnapped his lord. This takes you on a whole adventure as you explore the Ashina castle and its surroundings.

So, if you’re looking for a stealth game with extremely hard combat and bosses on the PS4, then Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is worth exploring.

Pros:

• Sekiro Shadows Die Twice will test your skills to the core.
• The combat system is formidable but rewarding in the end in Sekiro Shadows Die Twice.
• In Sekiro Shadows Die Twice, the world settings are impressive and spectacular.

Like the previous entry, Shadow of Mordor also isn’t a conventional pick for a stealth game. But it seems like many fans online love the little stealth mechanics in the game, making it worth the tiny mention.

The stealth in the game is quite simple. You sneak around, use bushes to take cover, and attack enemies when they can’t see you. But the thing is, the stealth mechanics are quite satisfying, especially when you know that the alternative would’ve been a fully-fledged warzone.

The many abilities in the game, like the stealth takedown from the air and using the environment to your advantage, add to the fun. Stealth is, in fact, quite necessary early on in the game when you’re just getting started out and don’t have all of your Godlike abilities.

If you want stealth mechanics but don’t want them to be the main and only thing that you get to do in a game, then Shadow of Mordor is an unconventional stealth game. But if that’s not your cup of tea, then worry not, as we still have various other recommendations for you!

Although there is a plot present in the game, it usually fades into the background due to the lack of dialogue. Essentially, you’re playing as a woman named En from a group of genetically modified humans. And you’re at the palace in hopes of reviving a former human partner, Foster.

It’s up to you to decide whether you’re going to try to sneak past the enemies or risk using your gun and later having to undergo gunfire as well. So, if you’re looking for a great sci-fi game that requires you to be careful about your actions, then definitely check out Echo!

Pros:

• The core game mechanics are brilliantly designed and engaging in Echo.
• The atmosphere and landscapes are high in detail and distinctive in many ways.
• Visually, Echo has some phenomenal sci-fi aesthetics.
• As you progress through the story, intense and scary moments surface which keeps the player enrolled in Echo.

• The lack of enemy variety is the major flaw of Echo.
• Echo is not a lengthy game and takes only a few hours to finish.

Untitled Goose Game

Untitled Goose Game is a weird but interesting puzzle stealth game that has you play as a trouble-causing goose! If you ever wondered what it’d be like if Agent 47’s skills were given to a goose, then this game is your answer!

In the stylized graphics game, you get to play as a goose who is an absolute jerk to all humans that it approaches. Your main objective is to simply cause trouble from a “to-do list” and honk away in happiness. From ruining a picnic, stealing a man’s keys, to even straight-up bullying a little kid, there’s no end to the goose’s meanness.

But the entire world is your playground. There are so many ways to approach a single task. Some can be straightforward as just going to certain areas. At the same time, others require you to do some clever problem-solving and even improvise as you go!

The game really is one of those games that is just really fun to watch and makes for one of the best entertaining stealth games on PS4.

• There are plenty of ways to solve a puzzle which is engaging in the Untitled Goosy Game.
• The music and visuals are eye-catching and captivating.
• Character animations are very unique and intriguing.
• An extremely intriguing idea that develops into a startling intricate puzzle game that calls for stealth, creative thinking, and a strong urge to disturb and anger people.

Cons:

• The objectives can get repetitious which is lackluster.
• It is a very short game.
• Minor bugs and glitches spoil the immersion of the player.

Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach

Five Nights at Freddy’s is a well-known series that basically took off after streamers and Youtubers started playing it. The series introduced a new concept of creepy animatronics, and since then, they’ve expanded on that concept.

If you know about Five Nights at Freddy’s, then you might think that it’s not quite a stealth game because you’re usually in a room, monitoring security cameras and managing power. Well, Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach takes a departure from that typical approach and lets you move around.

The series is known for horror, and there are quite a lot of horror moments in the game. From the animatronics chasing you down to the various jump scares, there will always be many things to keep you on edge.

One new addition is that this time around, Freddy Fazbear is actually your ally. He tells you what to do in the game. And you can even hide inside him, as long as he has power. While hidden, none of the other electronics can harm or notice you.

But you have to look for battery timings for many of your gadgets like the torch and even Freddy. Once they run out, you’ll have to go back to charging stations. Regardless, if you love horror games and want to mix that with stealth, then Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach is the best stealth horror game on the PS4! 

Pros:

• Five Nights At Freddy’s has unique game mechanics.
• The graphics are exceptional. We had no doubt that Steel Wool would thrive in this situation, and they did not dissatisfy.
• A massive variety of dissimilar places you can investigate throughout the game.
• Five Night Freddy’s offers a stimulating cast of characters.

Cons:

• The story pacing is not regaling in Five Nights At Freddy’s.
• Horror and jumpscares are not the most pleasing compared to the previous games.

Horizon Zero Dawn

Horizon Zero Dawn is an action-adventure RPG with a bunch of stealth mechanics inside. It is a unique take on the typical post-apocalyptic world. Instead of murderous zombies or some sort of disease, the world is overrun by ancient robotic creatures like dinosaurs.

You play as Aloy, who is an outcast of the Nora clan. While competing in a competition known as the Proving to discover her origins and why she’s been an outcast, the Nora clan is attacked by masked bandits. After the attack, the Nora clan explains to Aloy her origins and allows her to go on a quest to seek revenge from the bandits.

You’ll always have your bow and spear that you can use to attack openly. However, there are also many bushes, tall grass, and other hiding spots that you can utilize and shoot from to maintain your cover.

Using rocks or whistling, you can divert or draw the attention of enemies. And with various traps, you can take out enemies with ease! Every enemy has certain weaknesses that you can discover using the “focus.” It will tell you which elements they’re weak in and what are their vital spots. You can use that information to attack accordingly! 

If you’re a fan of sci-fi games but also like primal activities like hunting animals using spears and bows, then Horizon Zero Dawn is a great mix of that. And if you love Horizon Zero Dawn, then there is a sequel, Horizon Forbidden West, for you to try out as well!

• In terms of graphics, Horizon Zero Dawn is mesmerizing.
• A wide range of new abilities simplifies item handling and navigation in Horizon Zero Dawn.
• There is a ton of content in both the main game and the expansion.
• The open world offers an incredible adventure throughout the journey.

• In Horizon Zero Dawn, selecting waypoints can be quite shaky.
• The narrative is not the best and is rather underwhelming in Horizon Zero Dawn.
• Clipping on the environment can occasionally be annoying, especially while attempting to flee from challenging adversaries.

Days Gone

On the surface, Days Gone seems like just another zombie survival game, but it’s a bit more than that. The game follows Deacon St. John, an outlaw living in a post-apocalyptic world that fell to a pandemic two years ago.

The pandemic caused many humans to turn into freakers (zombies). And unfortunately, Deacon’s wife was in a camp that got overrun by these freakers, or so Deacon thought. After discovering that she might be alive, he goes on a quest to find her.

Besides just a story that is heavily related to the sidequests of the game as well, there are some amazing gameplay mechanics. You’ll always have your trusty bike with you to help you move around. And sometimes, when you get ambushed by zombies, your main goal would literally be to get back to your bike to get away.

Stealth is optional in the game but is the more strategic way to play. If you’re not shooting with silencers on your gun, you’ll likely attract unwanted attention. And if you maintain your cover, you can sometimes get past without even having to engage in battle. Days Gone is one of the best zombie stealth games for the PS4. 

Pros:

• Days Gone effectively depicts the storyline as a multi-season saga.
• The addition of Hordes is on top of the shelf in Days Gone.
• The survival mechanics are optimistic and well-balanced in Days Gone.
• Days Gone delivers an expansive world with plenty of side quests to experiment with throughout your journey.

• Days Gone has some irritating switches between gameplay and cutscenes.
• The missions are quite redundant in Days Gone.

Ghost Recon Wildlands

Ghost Recon Wildlands is a huge open-world game with almost 22 regions, each with its own drug cartel leaders causing trouble. At its core, the game is a tactical third-person shooter, but it offers so many playstyles that its stealth mechanics are worth mentioning.

There are many mechanics to consider while being stealthy in the game. From your stance and how you creep around to how critical your shots are, all these factors play a part in how successful you are at sneaking around.

The game doesn’t play around when giving you options to approach a single task. You can approach the start of a mission in a variety of ways. Either by parachuting in, walking over, or taking a vehicle. Then when you’re in the area, you can use equipment such as drones to tag your enemies and the environment to sneak around.

You also have the option to sync your shots with the AI. But that’s not a problem if you’re playing co-op with your friends. Taking out a base with pure stealth really makes you feel like a ghost. So, if you love co-op and stealth, Ghost Recon Wildlands is a great game to try out!
