Dave The Diver: Atlantic Bonito [Location]

Unlike normal fishing, where people throw a net in the water, Dave the Diver has you dive underwater and catch unique fish using a harpoon, and one such fish is the Atlantic Bonito. Players can get Dave the Diver’s Atlantic Bonito at its hidden location and make its Curry, among many other dishes.

IMPORTANT: The Atlantic Bonito can be mistaken for the Atlantic Mackerel. Atlantic Bonito has a silverback, and Atlantic Mackerel has a blueback.

How To Find The Atlantic Bonito

The Atlantic Bonito is one of the hard-to-find Fishes in Dave the Diver. Players have a hard time finding it because it doesn’t appear in every other location. There are some specific locations where you can get it. So for that, you’ll have to ensure you’re at the right spot.

The Atlantic Bonito is easy to find if you know where to look for it. Usually, it is found in the daytime in the sea. But won’t have to go down in the Ocean to locate it. I was able to locate it deep in the water.

Preparation

To get to these depths, you will have to get upgrades on your Oxygen Tank and onto your diving suit. Without these, although you can get to the Atlantic Bonito, getting down there might be hard as you will run out of Oxygen before you can get there. The extra Oxygen will help you stay alive for much longer. With the Oxygen issue resolved, you can now go on to get the Atlantic Bonito at its location.

Now there are two locations where I found Dave the Diver’s Atlantic Bonito. The first one is near the Tiger Shark, and the second is near the Shipwreck.

Tiger Shark Location

The first location is near the 80m to 130m depth.
You’ll have to go to the area of the Tiger Shark.
Now, one thing you’ll have to keep in mind is that the Tiger Shark can and will kill you.
It only needs a hit or two to deplete all of your Oxygen, so you’ll have to be careful when you go to that area. Be careful and try not to get the Shark’s attention.

Shipwreck Location

Its second location is near the Delivery Shipwreck. That is where you will have to locate the Shipwreck in the Mission Duff’s Pink Delivery. During the Mission, you have to go down to the Shipwreck and check what happened. While in the area, you can look for the Atlantic Bonito. That is where I found my first Atlantic Bonito.

The Atlantic Bonito will be traveling in groups.
These groups aren’t big, with 10s of fish. Instead, they swim in small groups of 2-3 fish.
They resemble the Atlantic Mackerel, so don’t end up catching the other fish.

Atlantic Bonito Curry

The Atlantic Bonito is used in the Curry Party event. That is when you have to prepare the Atlantic Bonito Curry in Dave the Diver.

For that, you’ll need the following ingredients:

5x Atlantic Bonito
2x Carrot
1x Curry Block
