If you are playing Dead Island 2, you probably have heard of Fuses in the game. These fuses unlock secret stashes around the map which are super helpful when fighting your way out of Hell-A. They act like keys, and once inserted they unlock trunks full of weapons and armory. Since these fuses are the only thing stopping you from gaining access to the weaponry they hide, let’s just cut to the chase. To get your hands on the Fuses you can visit any trader in the game, and to keep an eye out for Traders look for a $ icon on the map! You will find them located mostly around safe houses.
Although there are multiple traders around the map to get fuses, there is one preferred trader by the name of Carlos. Players prefer this trader, so if you are close by check him out.

Once you have defended Emmas Mansion from the attacking zombies, you will be met by Sam, who will later introduce you to the Games Weapon Crafting system. After this, you will be able to talk to Carlos and purchase any weapons from him in exchange for cash, including Dead Island 2 Fuses.
How Much Are Dead Island 2 Fuses?
Make sure to note that Fuses are not cheap. A single fuse will run you $1500 no matter where you get them from. This price tag is justified though since the rewards will be ample when you put the fuse to use, and some time into the game splurging $1500 on a Fuse might not seem that bad.
You cannot craft fuses, so purchasing them is the only way to go. If you have the financial means, stocking up on fuses will help. LA is scattered with fuse doors waiting to be opened, so having active fuses will help.
How To Use Fuses
Fuse Doors are marked around the map, so work your way up to these rooms and slot in your Dead Island 2 Fuse. This will open the nearby door, loaded with weaponry. However, you will need to be careful since these rooms are often booby-trapped and include tough enemies and hazards.
The good thing is, each room will include a Zomproof Slayer Hoard; big blue boxes that contain weapons that you can completely customize to your liking. You will also find the room filled with Crafting Materials, so make sure to grab that too as it might be helpful later on.
