The first upgrade that you can get for Issac’s Suit will increase your inventory space to a total of 18 inventory slots in the game. And that first upgrade is the Level 2 Suit for Issac is Dead Space Remake. You can buy the suit from the very first shop that you unlock after fixing the trams. There is no need to find any type of schematic in order to unlock this suit upgrade.

However, the suit itself will cost you around 10,000 Credits, and that is a big amount at the beginning of the game. Sell any additional items you hold, like the semiconductors, to make enough credits in order to buy the level 2 suit. Once you purchase it, your inventory space will be increased to 18 slots automatically, and you will also receive a boost in your defense by 5%.

In order to get another increase of 4 inventory slots, you will have to purchase the Level 3 Suit for Issac. Getting that suit will increase your total inventory space to 22 Slots in Dead Space Remake. However, you cannot buy the level 3 suit directly from the shop like the level 2 suit.
