The 9 Lamps Puzzle appears in the Fith Library of Zoltun Kulle Quest. The library is situated in the deserts of Kehjistan near the boundary of the Shassar Sea. The library is filled with many artifacts and also many traps that protect these artifacts from prying hands.

Furthermore, a copy of Zoltun Kulle serves as the library’s curator. It was created by the Wizard. The library’s entrance for supposedly kept hidden by magic.

Kulle details the library’s inner working in a journal that he kept. According to it, he committed a number of experiments that resulted in the creation of monstrous creatures.

As time passed, the library fell into despair and destruction. The monsters overran the library because its central core shut down. The Golems that Kulle had for the protection of the library slowly got overwhelmed by the monsters and were eventually destroyed.

In addition, wards were put up in the library to restrict the Curator’s access, and even after his best efforts, he could not split them. The library is undoubtedly one of the most intriguing locations to explore and learn about in Diablo Immortal.

The Function of The Library of Zoltun Kulle

The library of Zoltun Kulle functions as a zone in Diablo Immortal. As mentioned earlier, its entrance is located near the Shassar Sea. The library becomes available after the completion of the Shassar Questline.

Also, you can unlock a secret level here. There are several Tomes that can be found outside the library, and if you collect enough of them, you will unlock a secret level.

The content of the secret level varies. This does have some great fanservice, though, as enemies from across the franchise’s timeline can be fought here.

The recommended character level for the library is Level 35-41. If you are underleveled, we advise checking out our Diablo Immortal How to Level Up Faster Guide. Some players might even find the game’s difficulty unfair, so it’s better to go in fully prepared.

If you are still having trouble with the game’s fights or bosses, you can lower the difficulty any time you want from the game’s menu. The issue of difficulty is mainly present with mobile gamers.

Who is Zoltun Kulle in Diablo Immortal

Zoltun Kulle is a name that is quite familiar to Diablo veterans. He was one of the founders of Horadrim, but he eventually turned to the dark side. His fall to darkness started after the creation of the Black Soulstone.

Kulle as a mage was quite legendary. As a matter of fact, he was the strongest mage in the Sanctuary. The Horadrim realized the danger that Kulle posed. That is why the Horadrim of Sanctuary teamed up and killed Kulle.

In addition, the killing of Kulle was quite brutal. They separated him by putting his blood into jars and then proceeded to sever his head from his body. Kulle makes his return in Diablo Immortal both as a clone copy in the Library and as an NPC in the Destruction’s End Dungeon.

How to Light All 9 Lamps At Once During Lost Runes in Diablo Immortal?

As mentioned briefly before, the main objective of the quest has you finding three runes that you will put at the Curator’s statue to complete the quest.

You are given the puzzle when you go to get the first rune as part of the main quest. The first Ruin is located just northeast of the Grand Vestibule waypoint marker on the map. To solve the puzzle that presents itself, you will need to figure out the right way to light all lamps.

This might seem like a very simple puzzle, but that is certainly not the case. When you light the first lamp of your choice without knowing which one is the right one, four balls of fire will shoot out alongside it.

Moreover, these four balls of fire will then proceed to light up the lamps in their way that are unlit or extinguish the ones that are lit. If you keep lighting them up in the wrong order, you will be stuck in a frustrating loop

The correct way to solve the puzzle is if you light all nine lamps at once in Diablo Immortal. We will show you how; just make sure you don’t light any lamps beforehand.

The Corner Lamps That Need to Be Lit First

To light all of the 9 lamps at once in Diablo Immortal, you will need to start with the ones in the four corners. After all of the corners are done, light the one in the middle to solve the puzzle.

Now this trick to lighting them all and getting the first rune will only work if you have not lit any lamps before. If you have done so, there’s no need to worry. Simply head to the nearby rune and touch it to extinguish them all again.

You can start with any of the lamps in the corner. We like to start with the one that is on the top left corner; once you hit it, it will shoot out four fireballs but don’t be concerned with wherever they hit and proceed with hitting the other 3 lamps present in the corners.

In addition to it, you can also take a look at the picture we have provided to pinpoint which 4 lamps you need to hit if you are still having trouble pinpointing them. The picture will make the process even simpler.

Once you have lit all the corner lamps go ahead and hit the lamp in the middle. Doing so will shoot out four fireballs like with all other lamps, and these four fireballs will light up all the remaining extinguished lamps at once.

After this is done, all the fireballs from the lamps will, one by one, shoot at the statue nearby, and in turn, the statue will give you your first ruin. Getting the rest of the ruins is much simpler.

Game Overview

Diablo Immortal was announced back in 2018, and it was a very controversial announcement. The game’s inception also gave birth to the popular “Is this an out-of-season April’s fool joke?” meme.

Diablo Immortal has gotten popular, but most of its popularity comes from the controversies that the game keeps getting itself into. It feels like there is a new one every week.

Furthermore, Blizzard also announced that the game would also have a PC port back in April. We are hoping that at least the game should give us a good dose of demon-killing action while we wait for Diablo IV.

Diablo Immortal is the first & only game in the franchise, which was developed for mobile devices. It was also developed in a partnership. It was developed in partnership with NetEase Games, which you might be familiar with if you regularly game on mobile devices or if you have played their games such as Cyber Hunter.

Diablo Immortal chronologically takes place between the events of Diablo II and Diablo III, and it takes place in the year 1270. The player’s character(the protagonist) is a hero who has allied themselves with what remains of the Horadrim in Diablo Immoral.

Moreover, it has been somewhat indicated that the game’s story might go beyond the 1270 timeframe. Diablo Immortal may end up exploring some of the pivotal events in the series’ lore. This is excellent news for the fans who are into the Diablo story and lore.

However, it is also worthy to note that the game will not extend over to the timeframe of Diablo III or Diablo IV, which might be a bummer for some fans. That is all we know for now but don’t lose hope; and we might just go beyond the timeframe after the release of Diablo IV.

Conclusion

That is pretty much all you need to know about how to light all nine lamps at once in Diablo Immortal in Zoltun Kulle’s Library. The library is one of the most interesting places to explore and even serves as some of the better fanservice in the game.

Despite all of the controversies of Diablo Immortal, hidden behind the outrageous microtransactions is a game made with passion and dedication, which contains a lot for the franchise’s veterans. It’s just sad that to access most of it, and you will need to either speed a lot of money or a lot of time.

We would love to hear your thoughts on Diablo Immortal. Does it satisfy you as a series veteran? Or are you simply a newcomer to the franchisee who is having fun in the game? Let us know in the comments section below.
