Single Target DPS

The characters that specialize as single target DPS have the ability to deal massive damage towards one single target. This allows them to concentrate all of their power in one single attack.

AoE DPS

Some Espers can fill two roles at once. So even if you have a team of 5, you can have more than 5 roles in your team. The team composition may be altered depending on the enemy you come across. For some of the bosses in Dislyte, you would just need an AP controller and a Debuffer, and in most cases, you will not require a debuffer in your team.

AP controllers can be quite difficult to obtain, and you will need a good amount of relics to get them. So you can just opt for a double Healer when you come across a boss until you manage to get an AP Controller in your team. 

You can also swap your DPS unit or Controller with a Defender in your team. Their DEF scaling abilities can be very beneficial for your team. They also have Taunt Debuff Ability, during which the enemy would attack them and no one else. Defenders are not very easy to get but once you have them make sure you utilize them in your team.
