Relics in Dislyte

Some relics are catered to offer more DPS, quick healing, high base HP, High base Defence, and other such effects that you can get. On the subject of characters, why not read our Best Dislyte Characters and learn about the top 10 espers in the game?

Now, why do you need Relics? Well, besides the regular leveling up of your Espers, there is a cap to all the stats. So, if you want to achieve more output than the base stats, you will need to equip the relics, either individual pieces or set pieces.

Of course, the former will give you individual bonuses, but they’d be weak as compared to the latter, which will give you a single set bonus that would be strong. Also, consider going through our Dislyte Codes guide and get your chance of redeeming free in-game items.

Benefits of Relics

The best part of equipping Relics on your Espers is to enhance their overall capacity to deal more damage, heal themselves or teammates faster, and do more crit damage. Basically, the whole point of relics is to evolve the base stats of your Espers so that you can play the game in roles; high DPS, healer, defense, and much more.

Relics can be equipped in sets of fours and twos, and slotting them with your Espers in sets will not only give you main stats buffs but also sub stats bonuses as well. Continue reading our guide, and you will learn about the main, sub-stats, relic sets, and much more.

After all, what good an RPG game is if it does not let you make better versions of your characters, and equipping relics is just the next big step to up the game in Dislyte.

Relic Types and Quality in Dislyte

Now that you have learned what relics are and the bonuses they offer, you should also learn the four qualities of relics and the two unique types you will come across in the game. Understanding the quality and type is very important if you want to not waste your Gold in acquiring low-quality relics or lose time while farming for relics in Dislyte that hold little to no value for your Espers.

Two Types of Relics

Basically, there are two types of Relics you will come across in Dislyte; Orange and Purple. Regardless of relic type, equipping these with your Espers will grant them additional primary and secondary attributes.

However, the Orange relics come in sets of two only, while the purple ones come in sets of four. Continue reading our Dislyte relic guide and learn everything on the subject.

You can always not slot in the complete set pieces and equip various relic types for orange and purple ones to get unique stat bonuses. However, you must note that the overall impact of bonuses will be diverse for sure but weak without the set bonus. This liberty will allow players to create some of the best builds in Dislyte, depending on the playstyle they go for in the game.

Other than that, relics in Dislyte are categorized based on their geometrical shapes. The top-tier ones will mainly comprise of triangle, diamond, and hexagon, and these relics will offer flat stat bonuses. On the other hand, the second-tier of relics will usually comprise of circle, square, and spade, and their stat bonuses are denoted in percentage value.

Four Quality Types of Relics

The next thing that you need to get a hold of in our Dislyte Relic guide is understanding the four quality types of relics. The grading or quality of a relic in the game affects the overall main attribute and secondary attribute bonuses.

A lower quality or grading relic will give you a weaker main attribute stat and less or none at all secondary attributes. Here are all the gradings on your relics that you will come across while playing Dislyte.

  • Flawless: Unlocks 4 secondary attributes
  • Superior: You get 3 secondary attributes
  • Elite: Has 2 secondary attributes
  • Fine: Comes with 1 secondary attribute only
  • Shoddy: Inferior relic grading that has zero secondary attributes

From bottom to top, you can upgrade a relic to get more secondary slots unlocked and boost the existing secondary attributes. Also, your main attributes will also see a significant increase as you level up or upgrade a relic in the game.

Upgrading Relics In Dislyte

Yes, relic upgrading is a feature players can do in Dislyte, and if you do not level up your relics, you will not have enough secondary attributes and weaker main ones. That is why our complete Dislyte relic guide entails how to upgrade relics and why you should do it in the game.

For starters, regardless of Purple or Orange relic type, you can upgrade both in the game. Moreover, if your relic is of lower grading or quality, say Fine, then it would be easier to upgrade it. On the other, if you have a relic of Elite or Superior quality, then upgrading it will cost more Gold.

Gold is the currency that is used to upgrade a relic, and the higher the grading of a relic, the more Gold will be required to level it up. The impact of leveling up a relic gets reflected on primary and secondary attributes.

Overall, upgrading a relic in Dislyte will improve the main attribute, and the secondary attribute gets more stat bonuses unlocked.

The max level for a relic in the current meta of Dislyte is level 15, and you players can get a boost or unlock one extra secondary attribute at levels 3,6,9, 12, and 15. Also, players will need to unlock all locked secondary attributes before they can actually boost them.

Relic Attributes Explained In Dislyte

main and secondary attributes
Relics stat bonuses

As mentioned above in our Dislyte relic guide that the whole point of equipping relics is to up the overall game of Espers and give them main and secondary relic attributes.

Moreover, a higher star relic will give you better stats bonuses as compared to a lower-star one in the game. Here is a list of main and secondary relic attributes that you need to understand to make the most of this in-game feature.

Main Relic Attributes

  • Una I: This is represented by a triangle symbol, and the fixed stat is associated with providing more ATK bonuses.
  • Una II: The relic type is represented by a circular symbol, and the stat perks you get out of Una II are fixed, but they usually are either a critical rate, critical damage, ATK, ATK%, DEF, DEF%, HP, or HP% stat bonus increase.
  • Una III: This relic is represented as a rhombus shape, and you will get a fixed main attribute of Defence bonus when applied on an Esper.
  • Una IV: All Una IV relics will be of square shape, and the attribute can either be an ATK, ATK%, DEF, DEF% HP, HP%, ACC, or RESIST.
  • Mui I: The hexagon-shaped MUI I will always give you an increased HP bonus as the main relic attribute.
  • Mui II: This relic is represented as a spade, and you can get fixed attributes from; ATK, ATK%, DEF, DEF%, HP, HP%, and SPD.

That is about everything you need to know about the Dislyte relic’s main attribute in the game. We may get more relic types in future game updates, but for now, you will get the above-mentioned ones only.

Secondary Relic Attributes

Unlike the fixed main attributes of a relic, the secondary ones are random. Most of them will for sure enhance the overall attack or strength of your Esper, but you really can not determine the stat bonuses from secondary relic attributes.

Moreover, the higher the quality of a relic, the more secondary attributes it will have. As listed above, the four qualities of relics in Dislyte; the Flawless one will have four secondary attributes, which is the highest, while Shoddy will have zero, and Good will have one only.

Here is a table entailing the overall secondary relic attributes you get based on the overall grading of a relic in the game.

That is pretty much everything you need to know about relics, their qualities or grading, the main and secondary slot bonuses, and the upgrade paths. Now we will discuss more about the best relics in Dislyte that you should equip with Espers to bring out the best versions of them.

Should You Farm Relics In Dislyte?

Equipping relics on Espers is an excellent idea of enhancing their overall capacity to perform. However, you should not waste the relics on under-leveled Espers as farming the espers in Dislyte and upgrading them are both time-consuming processes. Also, you would save yourself from wasting more Gold.

So, when should you farm relics for your Espers? For starters, if your average Espers level is below 20, then you must first level up the characters you intend to equip Espers on. Because once you’ve used a relic on a low-level Esper, it’d give a lower level of the relic’s main and secondary attributes.

There is a proper way to slot relics to Espers, and that is to increase the base stats of your Espers higher by leveling up. To make you understand, we have mentioned an example in the Dislyte relic guide here below.

For example, if you have four-star Fenrir Esper at Level 40, then you will get a maximum of 619 ATK. On the other hand, if you have Lin Xao at level 60, who is by far our best DPS Esper in Dislyte, she will have a base ATK of 1224.

This is why if you equip the relics or relic sets on the Lin Xao instead of Fenrir in this situation, the latter will benefit so much from relics than the former.

That is why relics in the late game become much more important as compared to the early game. You can use relics on Espers below level 20, but the overall stat bonuses will be weaker compared to what you can get near the end-game.

That is why players should farm relics in Dislyte when their Espers are upgraded. Otherwise, the grinding and farming relics in the game will not be worth your time, and that is why we believe you should not waste time on relic farming in the game.

That is pretty much everything our Dislyte relic guide entails about this important in-game feature that players should not sleep on. Which is your favorite 4-relic set and 2-relic set in the game? Let us know more of your thoughts in the comments section below.
