What is Echoing Shade
The Echoing Shade in Diablo Immortal is a Legendary Gem, meaning that it’s extremely useful. For those who don’t know, Legendary Gems in Diablo Immortal can help improve the overall build of your character. This is because these Gems can boost the stats of your character, including their power. In addition, they grant different abilities to the user, something which can further assist you during combat.
There are multiple types of Legendary Gems available in Diablo Immortal, and they are divided into different Star tiers. Each Gem has a one, two, or Five-star rating. The higher the rating is, the more powerful the Gem will be. Furthermore, Five-star Gems are extremely rare and not easy to get. If you managed to get one, consider yourself extremely lucky.
As for the Echoing Shade Gem, it happens to be a Five-star Gem. While it may not be the best in its tier, it is still better than all the other one and two Star Gems in the game.
Many players think of it as a weak Gem, mostly because of how pathetic it can be at the beginning. But once you upgrade it, you’ll realize that it’s one of the best ones available in the game.
How To Get Echoing Shade
At the time of writing, there are three major ways of getting Legendary Gems in Diablo Immortal. You can get them as a reward for completing main quests, have the Apprentice Jeweler generally a random one for you, or you can pick them up as a drop. To get Echoing Shade Legendary Gem in Diablo Immortal, you will need to rely on the third method.
This is because it can only be picked up as a drop from a mob or a Dungeon chest. Other than this, there isn’t any way to acquire it in the game.
You should also always check the ground whenever you defeat a group of enemies, as a lot of players often ignore checking the ground first before heading forward. Otherwise, you might miss out on the opportunity of picking up the Echoing Shade or other Legendary Gems in the game.
How To Use Echoing Shade
By using Echoing Shade in Diablo Immortal, you can summon a clone of yourself who will fight with you in combat. However, the Shadow Clone will not always summon, as there is a 15% chance for it to appear. The Clone will last for around eight seconds and will attack every enemy in its sight.
Now, a big downside about the Shadow Clone is that it isn’t going to be a 100% copy of your character. Instead, it is only going to use some of your abilities. Furthermore, you won’t be able to tell which abilities the Clone will use, as it will choose them randomly.
Another thing that players dislike about the Clone is that it starts attacking a random enemy. During combat, you might face multiple types of enemies at once, especially while fighting a boss. For instance, many bosses can summon their minions, who will try their best to prevent you from reaching their boss.
Now, while you’re trying to get rid of the minions, the Shadow Clone might go ahead and start attacking the boss. In other words, he will be of no use.
The Echoing Shade Legendary Gem only becomes useful when you upgrade it. At Rank 3, you will be able to summon two Shadow Clones at the same time. And at Rank 5, the chances for you to find Magic items will increase by 15%.
As you you keep on upgrading the Ranks, the Shadow Clones stay for a longer period, and they also deal more damage than before. In other words, the Echoing Shade becomes extremely powerful.
Aside from this, the Gem can also increase Resonance by 30, which can go all the way to 100 with upgrades. Furthermore, your Combat Rating will also increase from 12 to 24 as you keep on upgrading the Gem.
And for those wondering, the Echoing Shade Legendary Gem can be upgraded by going to the Apprentice Jeweler.
Through him, you can upgrade the Gem using Gem Fragments. But for higher ranks, you will need a duplicate Legendary Gem. Furthermore, you will need to use more and more Gem Fragments as you keep upgrading the ranks.
This was everything you needed to know about the Echoing Shade Gem in Diablo Immortal. As you can see, the Gem isn’t that useful at the base level, but it can help you a lot after you upgrade it.
Having two Shadow Clones fighting alongside you in combat will help you quickly defeat multiple enemies. Before you leave, make sure to give our Diablo Immortal Rite of Exile guide a read as well.
