Bob’s Bottles is one of the larger and more open-ended mental worlds you explore in Psychonauts 2, and as such, it features a host of Emotional Baggage collectibles. You will enter this level after reintegrating Ford’s Fractured Mind. The level features a central hub from where you can access other sub-levels, much like in PSI King’s Sensorium. Here, Raz attempts to help the muddled psyche of Former Agent Bob Zanotto in his quest to fix the Astralathe. The level initially explores Bob’s tragic childhood with his mother, who fell to alcoholism after her husband’s death. It then highlights his own struggles with alcohol which were eventually alleviated by his love for Helmut Fullbear. After Helmut’s death, however, Bob lapses into isolation and depression, which leads to his removal from the Psychic Six. It is understandable, then, why Bob’s Bottles features so much Emotional Baggage to sort out!
Bob’s Bottles features all five pieces of Emotional Baggage that Psychonauts 2 has to offer. Some can be found on the islands within the initial sea section that players explore on a Psycho-Portal boat. Others are housed in the sub-levels contained within the oversized glass bottles that surface and beach on the islands. Moreover, all of these can be collected on your first playthrough of the mental world. Therefore, in this Psychonauts 2 guide, we will go through the location of every Emotional Baggage collectible in the booze-filled world of Bob’s Bottles!

Emotional Baggage Locations in Bob’s Bottles
The Duffle Bag
This is the first piece of Emotional Baggage that you will come across in the level. You will find it in the Tia’s Kitchen area after entering the first red glass bottle. This area features platforming sections overrun with alcohol and swinging Bob heads. The tag lies in the second platforming section, where you come across a trampoline net and some drinking straws. Use the trampoline net to jump onto a particularly tall straw. Climb to the top, and jump onto the large rock to the left. From here, jump onto the platform with a fridge on it. The tag will be behind it.

The bag is also in the same area. Backtrack slightly to the trampoline net. On the side opposite to the drinking straw will be two wooden platforms connected by a rope. Jump onto the platform on the right to reach the Duffle Bag.

The Purse
The next collectible can be found a little further along in the same Tia’s Kitchen area as the Duffle Bag. At one point, you will come across a platforming section filled with pieces of beautiful stained glass. You will jump across two cocktail sticks and land on a wooden platform in front of a trapeze made from vines. Instead of swinging ahead, however, look below to spot a lily pad. Jump onto it, and then onto the one on its right. The Purse tag will be here. Afterward, quickly jump onto the bouncy bush in front to return to safety.

The Purse itself is very close to where you found the tag. Swing on the vine-made trapeze in the stained glass platforming section. However, instead of going into the kitchen in front, swing a little higher and jump onto the vines above the entrance. Once you’re here, climb onto the platform to the left to secure the Purse.

The Hat Box
The next Emotional Baggage collectible in Bob’s Bottles will be the Hat Box. You can find this once you return to the open sea section of the level. Go to the island where Lili Zanotto is. You can find this island to the left of the docking station of the island where the first red bottle appears. After landing here, go to the left end. You will spot the Hat Box tag here next to two seagulls.

The Hat Box is also on the same island. This time, however, proceed right and go past the exploding cactus. The path will lead to another smaller island where the Hat Box will be sitting next to a palm tree.

The Steamer Trunk
The Steamer Trunk and its tag can also be found in the free-roam sea section. To get the tag, go to the island with the yellow flowers. If the third blue glass bottle has already surfaced in your playthrough, then you can follow the yellow petals in the water from the central island where Bob is to get to this one. Once you reach the island, dock your Psycho-Portal boat and go right across the wooden bridge. You will see the tag here, next to a large rock also covered in yellow flowers.

The baggage itself is on a different island. Look for the one where Truman Zanotto is standing. If you have difficulty finding it, take the boat from the central island where Bob is, make a 180-degree turn on the left side, and this should be the first island you come across. Alternatively, if the third glass bottle has already cropped up, follow the yellow petals from the central island water. The first island you see on your left will be this one.
As you dock on the island, you should see some elevated wooden walkways on your right. Get onto them and follow them to the last platform. The Steamer Trunk will be sitting atop this platform.

The Suitcase
As for the last Emotional Baggage collectable in Bob’s Bottles, you need to proceed to the Viking Reception area after entering the third blue bottle. The tag is pretty difficult to spot without some guidance, so bear with us. After swinging across a trapeze, you will come across two towers made of cake slices that you have to wall jump off of to reach the top. Once at the top, you need to get on top of the right cake tower (the one with the red slice). For this, take a right as soon as you get to the reception area with the dining tables. You will see a blue wave-shaped platform extending from the edge. Walk onto the end of the platform, and you will come across a drinking straw the you can climb to get onto the red cake slice.
Now look on the other side of the chasm you previously swung across using the trapeze. You will see another cake there that you need to reach. For this, use the Levitation Ball and hold down jump as you roll over the edge to attain maximum distance. You will also need to use your Levitation Balloon to float at the end and reach the cake. Finally, here you can snag the Suitcase tag from between the candles.

Thankfully, the Suitcase is fairly easy to find. Return to the top of the cake tower slices, and proceed ahead to the wedding reception area with the dining tables. The Suitcase will be on the left side of the stage next to a tree.
