For instance, if you’re trying to run the game at 2K resolution but the system encouraged quality is slated for 1080p, make the necessary edit. Next up, we have the “Windowed Mode” to tweak a little. If you see the digit 0 written beside the latter, change it to 1. That should prompt the game to launch in this specialized mode. It’s also worth toning down the graphics quality a little to test if doing so negates the freezing problem. 

As soon as you’re done, click on the “File” button in the toolbar and save your progress. That should do the trick for us. However, we’re not quite done yet. There’s still one more step to go before we can call it a day.
