  • Restart Warhammer 40K Darktide

One of the most standard ways of fixing any issue in a game is simply restarting it. It can be thought of as the first step of fixing the protocol of any issue in any game. If restarting the game doesn’t work, below given is the other solution.

  • Reinstall/Update the game

First, update the game to its latest version and see if the issue is resolved. If the bug persists, uninstall the Warhammer 40K Darktide and then reinstall it.

  • Restart The Device

The last thing that you can do in the fixing procedure of toughness bus is reset or reboot your device. This should get the issue resolved.

If all this is doing nothing to your bug issue, you can only avoid it and improve your gameplay by not playing with Veteran or using a class not using the Toughness curio.

What Is Toughness Bug

Toughness works in a way that it provides the players the ability to absorb the damage dealt by enemies. When a hit is taken by the character and toughness has been activated, the HP is not affected by it. Rather, the blue bar above the HP bar that shows the toughness, or in other words, your armor, is affected. Now the Warhammer 40K Darktide Toughness Bug is that when the toughness is above 100, it shows abnormality.

For the classes like Veteran in Warhammer 40K Darktide that have a toughness scale of above 100, toughness malfunctions. With a toughness value of more than 100, the players receive direct damage which affects the HP bar and not the toughness bar. This certainly is not the way toughness is supposed to work. It works perfectly fine when the maximum value of toughness is 100. All classes other than Veteran have a toughness scale of 100. So, it is only the Veteran class that gets affected by this bug.

Another possible reason for experiencing this toughness bug can be the equipment of curios. Curios cause a percentage increase in the toughness and make its value more than 100. And you know what it leads to when the value of toughness gets greater than 100.
