There are multiple reasons why you would want to know the location of Bronzor in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Firstly, you would, of course, seek out Bronzor if you’re someone who’s aiming to complete their Pokedex. On the other hand, you could also catch it to integrate the Steel/Psychic type pokemon into your team.

Lastly, there is a certain pokemon called Charcedet who can be evolved into Armarouge in Pokemon Scarlet. However, you can only evolve it by acquiring 10 Bronzor Fragments in the game. Therefore, there are multiple reasons why you would need to seek out Bronzor in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Fortunately, Bronzor is not that hard to find in the Paldea region. It isn’t focused solely on one area on the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet map. You can visit various different locations to get a chance at finding Bronzor. However, it is worth mentioning that you won’t always find the pokemon once you reach their location.

Sometimes, you need to search around their specified location to allow them to spawn in the game. By looking at the image we inserted above, you can find out the spots (marked in orange) where Bronzors commonly spawn in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Or you can also read the list of Locations we have mentioned below.

  • East Province (Area Two)
  • South Province (Area Two)
  • South Province (Area Three)
  • South Province (Area Four)
  • South Province (Area Five)
  • West Province (Area One)
  • Asado Desert

Bronzor does not roam in open fields, and you will mostly find them in or around, Ruins across the map. You can spot ruins from afar, and they are usually gray-colored, with a few sets of broken walls and pillars scattered around.

If you’re planning to find low-level Bronzors to farm Bronzor Fragments, then you can go to the areas around Cortondo town. This is the town where you will face Katy, the Bug-type Gym Leader in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Apart from catching Bronzor for your collection, the mysterious pokemon is also needed for another particular item in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. The item that we are talking about is called the; Bronzor Fragment. Getting Pokemon fragments allows players to craft different TMs. However, when it comes to the Bronzor Fragment, you can use it to evolve Charcadet to Armarouge in Pokemon Scarlet.

We didn’t mention Pokemon Violet because in that variant of the game, you will need to acquire the Sinistea Chips in order to evolve Charcadet into Ceruledge. Hence, collecting Bronzor Fragments is only important if you’re playing Pokemon Scarlet and want to get Armarouge

To get Bronzor Fragments, you can travel to their habitats in the Paldea Region and simply defeat them. You can find low-level Bronzors near Cortondo town. Low-level Bronzors should be easy to beat if you have a high-level team. If not, then try using Dark or Ghost-type pokemon against Bronzor to get the upper hand in the battle.

Once you manage to get 10 Bronzor Fragments in Pokemon Scarlet, you can then move on to the next step, which is to find Charcadet and help it evolve into Armarouge.

Once you have 10 Bronzor Fragments in your backpack, you will be able to get one of the best new pokemon called Armarouge in Pokemon Scarlet. As we mentioned earlier, if you’re playing Pokemon Violet, then you need to collect 10 Sinsitea Chips by beating Sinistea (Ghost-type) Pokemon. After that, you can evolve your Charcadet into Ceruledge.

However, because BronzAor is the subject at hand, we’ll limit our attention to it. So first off, you will need to beat multiple Bronzors by locating them in the Paldea region. After beating them, make sure that you collect at least 10 Bronzor Fragments. After that, you can trade them for the “Auspicious Armor” which can be used on Charcadet to make it evolve.

Nonetheless, after getting the Bronzor Fragments, you can then shift your focus towards finding Charcadet in Pokemon Scarlet. Charcadet is a Fire-type pokemon and is fairly easy to find in the Paldea region. There is a chance to catch him early in the game, right when you get access to the open world.

One of the best spots to find Charcadet is in the South Province (Area Three). Exit Mesagoza town using the East Gate and then continue down the track. There is a high chance that you’d come across a Charcadet right outside the Mesagoza East Gate tracks. Once you find the Charcadet, approach it in battle and try catching it after bringing down its health, you could also use the False Swipe move, which makes catching pokemon very easy.

After getting your hands on a Charcadet and 10 Bronzor Fragments, it will be time to get the Auspicious Armor. To get the Auspicious Armor, you will need to Trade your Bronzor Fragments with a certain character in Pokemon Scarlet. You can find the Trader you’re looking for at the Zapapico town next to the East Province Area Three.

The Trader is standing in the Central yard of the town (location in the image above) and wears a Pink shirt. As you walk past him, you will see a dialogue box that reads, “Fancy a Trade?“. Approach the trader and give him the 10 Bronzor Fragments in exchange for an Auspicious Armor.

You can then access the Auspicious Armor by opening your Bag and going to the “Other Items” tab (where you can also find the Amulet Coin). Scroll down until you see the Auspicious Armor, click on it and then choose the option which reads “Use this item“. Pick Charcadet from your Pokemon Team. After using the item on Charcadet a cutscene will begin where the Fire-type pokemon will evolve into Armarouge.

About Bronzor

about Bronzor pokemon
Overview: Bronzor [Screenshot by eXputer]
Bronzor is a mysterious-looking pokemon that has been part of the Pokemon franchise since the 4th Generation. Bronzor is a Steel/Psychic-type pokemon which makes it quite valuable since it does not have a lot of weaknesses. On top of that, it has some great abilities in the pokemon world. Here are all the Abilities Bronzor has in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

  • First Ability Levitate (Immune to Ground-type moves)
  • Second Ability Heatproof (Cuts damage from fire-type moves by 50%)
  • Third AbilityHeavy Metal (Doubles the weight of the pokemon)

Because it is a Steel/Psychic-type pokemon, Bronzior is weak against Ground, Ghost, Fire, and Dark-type pokemon. However, here’s the amazing part! Since Bronzor has the Levitate and Heatproof ability, it automatically eliminates Ground and Fire-type moves as its weakness. Hence, only Ghost and Dark-type moves are effective against Bronzor.

All of these things make Bronzor a very tanky pokemon. You can also evolve Bronzor into Bronzong by making it reach Level 33 in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
