How To Get Bronzor Fragments?

Apart from catching Bronzor for your collection, the mysterious pokemon is also needed for another particular item in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. The item that we are talking about is called the; Bronzor Fragment. Getting Pokemon fragments allows players to craft different TMs. However, when it comes to the Bronzor Fragment, you can use it to evolve Charcadet to Armarouge.

We didn’t mention Pokemon Violet because in that variant of the game, you will need to acquire the Sinistea Chips in order to evolve Charcadet into Ceruledge. Hence, collecting Bronzor Fragments is only important if you’re playing Pokemon Scarlet and want to get Armarouge.

To get Bronzor Fragments, you can travel to their habitats in the Paldea Region and simply defeat them. You can find low-level Bronzors near Cortondo town. Low-level Bronzors should be easy to beat if you have a high-level team. If not, then try using Dark or Ghost-type pokemon against Bronzor to get the upper hand in the battle.

Once you manage to get 10 Bronzor Fragments in Pokemon Scarlet, you can then move on to the next step, which is to find Charcadet and help it evolve into Armarouge.

To get Armarouge in Pokémon Scarlet, follow these steps:

  1. Collect 10 Bronzor Fragments: First, make sure you have gathered at least 10 Bronzor Fragments. You can obtain these fragments by defeating Bronzor in the Paldea region.
  2. Locate Charcadet: Charcadet is a Fire-type Pokémon that you’ll need to have in your party. It’s relatively easy to find in the Paldea region. One of the best spots to encounter Charcadet is in the South Province (Area Three). Exit Mesagoza town using the East Gate and continue down the track. You may find Charcadet right outside the Mesagoza East Gate tracks.
  3. Capture Charcadet: Engage in a battle with Charcadet and reduce its health. You can use moves like False Swipe to make capturing Pokémon easier. Once Charcadet’s health is low, attempt to capture it using Poké Balls.
  4. Trade Bronzor Fragments for Auspicious Armor: After obtaining both Charcadet and 10 Bronzor Fragments, travel to Zapapico town in the East Province Area Three. Look for a trader wearing a pink shirt in the central yard of the town. Approach the trader, who will ask if you’d like to trade. Give the trader your 10 Bronzor Fragments in exchange for an “Auspicious Armor.”

After using the item, a cutscene will commence, and Charcadet will evolve into Armarouge.

Overview: Bronzor [Screenshot by eXputer]
Bronzor is a Pokémon that has been part of the Pokémon franchise since the 4th Generation. It is a Steel/Psychic-type Pokémon, which gives it valuable resistances and few weaknesses. Bronzor possesses three different abilities in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet:

  1. Levitate (First Ability): This ability grants Bronzor immunity to Ground-type moves, making it impervious to one of its natural weaknesses.
  2. Heatproof (Second Ability): Heatproof reduces the damage taken from Fire-type moves by 50%, further mitigating one of Bronzor’s weaknesses.
  3. Heavy Metal (Third Ability): Heavy Metal doubles the weight of Bronzor, which can affect certain moves and interactions in battles.

Bronzor’s typing and abilities make it a tanky Pokémon with only two weaknesses: Ghost and Dark-type moves. Its resistance to Ground and Fire-type moves due to its abilities makes it a formidable opponent in battles.

You can evolve Bronzor into Bronzong by leveling it up to Level 33, allowing you to unlock the evolution and further enhance its capabilities.

With that, we reach the final bits of our extensive guide, which covers everything there is to know about Bronzor in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Not only that, but by now, you would also know how to collect Bronzor Fragments and trade them for the Auspicious Armor so that you can evolve your Charcadet into Armarouge in Pokemon Scarlet.
