Edelgard is an Emblem from the Adrestrian Empire in Fire Emblem Engage. Edelgard herself is one of the characters in Fire Emblem Three Houses. She is also the leader of the Black Eagles House, and she wields an axe weapon called Amyr. In three houses, she is one of the three respective leaders. 

How To Unlock Edelgard

1. Progress through the game, following in-game steps to unlock emblems.
2. Access the current Season Pass DLC, which includes the Emblem Of Rivals.
3. The Emblem Of Rivals Bracelet grants access to Edelgard, along with Claude and Dimitri.
4. Equipping the bracelet also provides significant stat boosts.
5. With the bracelet equipped, players can wield legendary weapons (Fainaught, Areadbhar, and Amyr) used by these leaders.
6. Players also gain the ability to perform powerful attacks like “Houses Unite,” which combines the strength of a bow, axe, and lance, dealing substantial damage.

Look Out Ridge Event 

In Fire Emblem Engage, players can spend free time on the floating island called Somniel. Here, they explore, view support conversations, and interact with surroundings, including animals. To regain strength, players consume meals with stat boosts. Somniel unlocks in Chapter 3, Hostilities. Progress to Chapter 6, Stolen Ring, to unlock Edelgard, Dimitri, and Claude’s emblems.

Upon reaching the island, a pop-up signals an event at Lookout Ridge. Travel modes include fast travel or walking. At Lookout Ridge, the three leaders chat, and the protagonist activates the bracelet by uttering a phrase. This invites emblems to join the battle, unlocking Edelgard, Dimitri, and Claude. The Ring Chamber in Somniel displays skills and weapons tied to the Emblem Of Rivals’ Bracelets. Equip via the menu when needed.

Notably, no missions are required to unlock Edelgard with the Emblem of Rivals. However, completing divine paralogues on the world map, accessible with the Emblem Of Rivals, is necessary to unlock Tiki with the Emblem Of Dragons.

Skills And Abilities

After unlocking Edelgard the players will be able to unlock a lot of synchro, Engage, Engage attack, bond effects, and inheritable skills. Following is a list of all of them.

Syncro Skill

Following are the synchro skills that the players will be able to use in their battle after equipping the Emblem Of Rivals:

• Friendly Rivalry: Emblem randomly switches between Edelgard, Claude, or Dimitri at the start of the player phase.

Keep in mind that all these gambit skills will depend upon the emblem you are currently In Sync with. 

Engage Skill And Engage Attack 

Following is the Engage skill and attack for Edelgard:

• Combat Arts: Using the Engage skill allows players to employ the combat art of any of the three leaders, consuming Engage turns in battle.
• Houses Unite (Engage Attack): Unleashes an Engage attack wielding three legendary weapons (Fainaught, Areadbhar, and Amyr) from the Emblem Of Rivals, dealing 50% damage.

Inheritable Skills And Bond Effects 

The bond effects can only be used whenever the players have equipped the emblem ring shared by Claude, Dimitri, and Edelgard. However common, the players will be able to utilize certain skills in battle after reaching a high bond level and earning sufficient SP to unlock these skills.

The players will also be able to head to the Armory in order to get Engaged weapons that will help them in battle. Following are the bond effects that the players will be able to use when wearing the emblem of the rival’s ring in the battle.

• Deep Synergy: Bond bonus that reduces the Engaged meter by one step, with no SP cost.
• Bow Guard 5: Inheritable skill reducing damage (up to five points) when attacked by a bow-wielding enemy. SP cost: 1000.
• STR DEX + 5: Inheritable skill granting +5 to both strength and dexterity. SP cost: 8400.
• Bow Guard 4: Inheritable skill, reducing damage by four points when attacked by a bow. SP cost: 800.
• Weapon Sync Plus: Inheritable skill providing a seven-point increase in ATK when using the same weapon type as the synced emblem. SP cost: 5000.
• STR DEX +4: Inheritable skill offering +4 to strength and dexterity. SP cost: 6000.
• Failnaught (Claude Exclusive): Exclusive skill allowing the use of Claude’s bow with a +20 increase in avo during combat.
• Bow Prof: Grants proficiency with bows, which is necessary for certain class promotions.
