How To Get Etie
To acquire Etie as a playable character in your walkthrough, all you have to do is play through the game and reach Chapter 3, Hostilities. Furthermore, what you have to do is win the battle in chapter 3, and you will gain Etie as a reward for your success in the battle. Also, it is good to know that you can play with her beforehand as she joins your team in the middle of the battle.
