What is Advice Box in Fire Emblem: Three Houses

Fire Emblem: Three Houses have several activities for Byleth, the player, to do. These activities often increase the support points of different characters throughout the game. Advice Box is one of these activities that the player can do to increase the support point.

In the advice box, Byleth has to respond to students’ concerns. They leave them there to get a response from a professor, the player. The advice box in the game is updated monthly. The player needs to visit this area regularly if they want to gain support points.

Unlocking the Advice Box

The Advice box in Fire Emblem: Three Houses becomes available during Chapter 3. To unlock it, the player will have to accept a quest called ‘Words of Wisdom’. This quest is given by Mercedes. Once you unlock the Advice Box, then you’ll be able to answer the notes by students.

Advice Box

If you’ve done other activities such as Fishing, Cooking, and Gardening in Fire Emblem, then you might be worried if the answer to notes costs Activity Points? The answer is no. You can answer the notes left behind by students as soon as they arrive.

If you want to answer the notes, you’ll have to go to the Cathedral. There, on its southern left side, you’ll find the Counselor. Talk to the Counselor and the Counselor will show you the notes left unanswered.

To answer a note, you’ll have 30 seconds. During this time, you’ll have to read the question and think of a suitable answer. You must answer quickly or else you’ll run out of time. If you answer a note correctly, you’ll get an increase in that character’s support level points.

Tips for Advice Box in Fire Emblem Three Houses

Answering the notes in the advice box can be hard. Because you can’t just randomly suggest an answer that you think is right. Fire Emblem has the activity as a sort of brain teaser. You need to test your thinking to know if you can guess who is the character that had this note.

Answering the note in Advice Box.
Wrong answer of Advice Box.
If you choose the wrong option, the character will be disappointed.

It is necessary as you need to give an answer that reflects their thinking. If the answer is wrong, then your Support Level Points won’t increase. So we have a few tips that we came across while answering these notes off of the Advice Box.

The first and foremost tip is to guess which character this note belongs to. For that, you’ll have a clue in the note. Keep an eye on the silhouette that is included in the note. It is a silhouette of the character’s avatar. If you have a keen eye, it will take you less than 5 seconds to guess the identity of the character.

When you’ve guessed the identity of the character to whom the note belongs, you can make a solid suggestion. For that, you’ll have to keep in mind the character’s personality. That way, you’ll be able to find the correct answer.

The best method to answer the note correctly is to get to know the student throughout the school year. Keep in touch with them, take part in quests and all. That way, you’ll remember what their silhouette would look like, and what type of answer they’d like.
