H1Z1 Battle Royale
|Awards||The best early game in the battle royale genre|
|Release Date||August 7, 2018|
|Developer/Publisher||Daybreak Game Company|
|Gameplay Type||Multiplayer BR|
The battle royale format is not significantly altered in any significant manner by H1Z1, which otherwise provides a straightforward and uncomplicated gameplay experience. It distinguishes against its PC equivalent to its favor by reworking the basic systems at play, providing you with just enough to work with in combat without overwhelming you. This helps you get the upper hand without sacrificing strategy.
In H1Z1, the only epic loot can’t be found on the ground and in derelict buildings; nonetheless, you may discover enough of it in the first few minutes of a battle to keep up with the other players. This is pretty much common these days, as Warzone 2 has the same loot mechanics.
However, H1Z1 does not yet have enough variety in its gameplay to produce a long-lasting attraction. In spite of its lackluster aesthetic, the solitary map offered does not provide the ideal foundation for a robust gaming experience since the majority of its areas are boring. H1Z1 carves out a niche for itself among the plethora of battle royale games that are all fighting for your attention by concentrating only on the intense moments of the game, with neither more nor fewer details included.
- Strong core gameplay
- Great with friends
- A buggy experience
- Changes for PS4 not optimized
|Awards||best BR game with a Vertical environment|
|Release Date||August 11, 2020|
|Gameplay Type||Battle royale, first-person shooter|
In contrast to the majority of battle royale games, which have maps created in a horizontal fashion, Hyper Scape starts on the vertically-oriented Neo Arcadia. The majority of buildings have at least three floors, and the presence of stairways and jump pads ensures that it is nearly always possible to reach the roofs of such structures.
The gameplay of Hyper Scape undoubtedly favors a quicker pace, and this momentum is actively pushed by the game’s features. When you run into a crouch from a standing position, you will be propelled forward in an intense slide. In comparison to other battle royales, this one enables you to more quickly traverse about the area by allowing you to double jump and grab ledges.
The combat royale game Hyper Scape is satisfactory overall. The game has powerful weaponry and hacking powers akin to those of a hero, but your chances of victory are contingent on whether or not you are fortunate enough to get the items you need. Unlike Warzone 2, The battlefield is not helpful in Hyper Scape in this sense since it is impossible to have knowledge of where to loot next without pausing to view the map and then strategize accordingly.
- Excellent mobility and verticality feature
- Interesting leveling-up mechanics for guns and abilities
- Microtransactions give no advantage
- Huge balancing issues in gear
- Guns feel underwhelming
- Game Crashes
Ring of Elysium
|Awards||Best PUBG-like BR game|
|Release Date||September 19, 2018|
|Gameplay Type||Battle Royale|
A real cover system is one of the significant modifications that the Ring of Elysium makes to the way in which battle unfolds. If you are in close proximity to an object that provides cover, such as a building, rock, or tree, your player will immediately cling to the object and assume the most advantageous posture to conceal their body.
When you find an appropriate upgrade item while playing Ring of Elysium, it will instantly attach itself to the gun you’re using. This is one of my top picks for the game. Therefore, there is no longer a requirement for you to grab a scope, open your inventory, equip the scope, and then exit your inventory screen.
Many of the other battle royale games on the market aren’t quite as refined or feature-packed as Ring of Elysium, which is currently available. Tencent has created a version of the BR formula that is surprisingly imaginative by streamlining the loot management system and introducing a new perspective on mobility along with innovative alternatives such as snowboards and other creative ideas.
It still has some bugs that need to be worked out, but in its present form, it already provides a wonderful experience that is, with the exception of cosmetics, totally free of charge for everything.
- Excellent graphics
- The interesting character creation system
- No parachute drops, which saves time
- High CPU & GPU requirements
- Server Lag & game crashes
Team Fortress 2
|Awards||Best Team Effort multiplayer game|
|Release Date||October 10, 2007|
|Gameplay Type||First-person shooter, Single-player, multiplayer|
Team Fortress 2, which has been around for a number of years but is showing no signs of slowing down, plays just like the version of the game that was available at the time. The class-based shooting video game continues to give the impression that no one will ever give up playing it. The experience has improved over the years without losing the qualities that made it so great in the first place.
As a result, despite the fact that the number of free-to-play options available to you may have significantly increased over the past few years, there are very few games that manage to pull off the format as effectively as Team Fortress 2.
The community for Team Fortress 2 can most definitely be competitive. On certain servers, you may be chastised for unintentional violations of protocol, yet on others, and you may be greeted with useful pointers. Not only do members of the TF2 community have an extensive understanding of the game and a strong enthusiasm for it, but they also make innovative attempts to invent new weapons, equipment, and maps. This makes the community an interesting one to observe.
Although Warzone 2 is a contemporary and sophisticated video game, if you play Team Fortress 2 right now, you will experience the feeling of addiction that this video game has had ever since it was first released.
- Well-balanced classes and maps
- Team cooperation can win games
- It looks and plays great even in 2022
- Long Respawn times
- It relies more on teamplay to win games
- Less number of maps
Super Animal Royale
|Awards||Best Cute BR game|
|Release Date||December 14, 2021|
|Gameplay Type||Single-player, multiplayer, Battle royale|
The animal-themed battle royale game Super Animal Royale is a free-to-play, top-down, 64-player, crossplay experience. There is nothing in the game that sticks out as particularly noteworthy, yet taken as a whole, it is rather charming. The gameplay is fun, the terrain is interesting, and the battle royale format is as popular as it has ever been.
There are settings for the sorts of games you may play—solo, duo, or squad. This is a wonderful opportunity to demonstrate the depth of character and equipment customization that is available, as well as the breadth of options available. During the time that we spent with the game, a 64-player server would routinely fill up in under a minute, and this was with crossplay disabled.
The Super Animal Royale bundle has a sufficient amount of charm to see it through the occasional unsatisfactory battle. The game universe is more than simply a practical setting, and the playable characters and cosmetics are entertaining, diverse, and visually appealing. In the middle of the chaos of the fight, there are more items, plot milestones, and mysteries that may be found if you take the time to look.
- Can buy older Battle Passes
- Beautiful art design
- Fast gameplay
- Difficult control layouts
- Buggy performance on a full server
Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout
|Awards||Best BR game with unique game-modes|
|Release Date||August 2020|
|Gameplay Type||Battle royale, platform|
Fall Guys is not a typical battle royale game in which players take headshots with snipers or hit buck shots on the chests of their opponents. On the contrary, this is a fun party game in which the objective is to cross the finish line, whatever it takes.
To pass the majority of the time throughout the match, I am satisfied to fool about, take unnecessary risks, and pause sometimes to rejoice with emotes before reaching the finish line. The majority of the time, I can’t help but giggle when I’ve pushed aside or ragdolled out of competition in Fall Guys. But as the end of the last round draws closer, I find that I am now taking everything quite personally.
Those who have seen other competition television series, such as Wipeout or Takeshi’s Castle, will recognize the basic premise behind Fall Guys. The whole course is comprised of many giant seesaws, and a significant portion of its success depends on the other competitors’ ability to grasp how these types of playground equipment designed for young children function.
When you win one of the finest battle royale games, you are rewarded with a distinct feeling of success and unadulterated delight. This sensation is the clearest indicator that developers have gotten it right with Fall Guys.
- Rewarding rounds & gameplay loop
- Funny art style and gameplay
- Too many game mods
- Repetitive games
- Microtransactions shouldn’t be there
|Awards||Best Co-op shooter game|
|Release Date||August 13, 2013|
|Gameplay Type||First-person shooter, Stealth|
Payday 2 is a game that is fun to play and provides you with several methods to work together to live a life of crime. There is always the stress of preparing and keeping information secret, the exhilaration of exercising power when all hell breaks free, and the joy of completing a mission after the game.
You may be reminded of Warzone 2 by the need for adequate control and awareness of your colleagues’ activities as you play Payday 2 since the task cannot be completed successfully without such awareness and control. Coordination is very necessary, particularly for the more challenging missions, since there is more loot to steal than you can readily get.
You are a member of a crew consisting of four people called Hoxton, Chains, Dallas, and Wolf, and a person named Bain hires your group to carry out various assignments. The systems and mechanics alone have minor problems and limits, but when combined, they create the conditions for spectacular heists that you will want to pull over and over again. Payday 2 is an engaging and difficult game of criminal pursuit, provided that the player can locate other criminals with whom to team up and compete.
- Good sound effects
- Multi-layered mission system
- Excellent heist game
- Plays better in Co-op only
- Lots of bugs and game crashes
- Bad AI
Left 4 Dead 2
|Awards||Best Zombie Co-op shooter game|
|Release Date||November 17, 2009|
|Gameplay Type||First-person shooter, survival horror|
The plot of Left 4 Dead 2 is set within the same time period as the events of the original game, and it allows players to accompany a fresh group of characters as they make their way south. The disease has now spread to every state in the nation.
In Left 4 Dead 2, the variety of weapons that players have access to has been taken to an all-new level. A really unremarkable advancement, yet one that is extremely significant. In the very first level, as my party is taking a break in a gun store, the level of excitement quickly rises to new heights.
The much-loved Versus mode has been brought back. You go through the storyline, but with a spin: four of the players take on the role of zombies. Communication and maintaining a sense of unity are more vital than they have ever been. Not to mention being aware of your intended target. Before your group has fully cemented itself together, friendly fire is almost certain to become an issue.
The sequel to Left 4 Dead expands on an already fantastic idea. Left 4 Dead 2 video game is a dream come true for every person who enjoys zombie games since it has an abundance of weaponry, numerous game modes, funny co-op for up to four people, and zombies.
- The sequel packs more zombie types
- New weapons and maps
- Coop gameplay is fun
- Too much difficulty in single player
- Bad friendly AI
- Aggressive enemy AI
|Awards||Best Splatoon game in the series|
|Release Date||September 9, 2022|
|Gameplay Type||Third-person shooter, Single-player, multiplayer|
Everything that came before it is consolidated and improved upon in Splatoon 3, which acts as a culmination of the series. In Splatoon 3, instead of spraying your adversaries with bullets as you do in Warzone, you paint them with different colored inks. This is a huge highlight for me since I am the kind of person that enjoys cooperative multiplayer rather than competitive multiplayer. And I loved the Battle Royale mode of Warzone 2.0 just as much as the Salmon Run in Splatoon 3.
The full installment in the Splatoon series, Splatoon 3, features the series’ most creative single-player narrative campaign to date, in addition to the franchise’s largest collection of multiplayer game modes and customization possibilities. The game won’t convince anybody who hasn’t liked previous Splatoon games to give it a try, but both novices and veterans of the series will find that this installment is well worth their time.
Splatoon 3 has some of the best characters, abilities, and weapons in the series. Three of these elements can be mixed and matched to create awesome builds, such as various dualies build so that you can beat bosses easily. However, if you’re still struggling to win turf wars in Splatoon 3 or find the best special and sub-weapons, consider reading our Turf War tips guide to winning easily.
In any case, our Splatoon 3 walkthrough guide has all the useful guides that you should not miss reading.
- Excellent story mode
- Salmon Run can be played any time
- Variety of weapons to ink enemies
- Not much of a jump in features from the prequel
- No new multiplayer modes
- Short story
|Awards||Best Halo Game in the series|
|Release Date||December 8, 2021|
|Gameplay Type||First-person shooter, Single-player, multiplayer|
A Spartan training program serves as the narrative foundation for Halo Infinite’s multiplayer mode, which is also included in subsequent games in the series. You are responsible for putting in the effort necessary to become better in front of the next battle. The multiplayer is reminiscent of classic Halo, but it has been updated to be more suitable for the current first-person shooter player base, who has become obsessed with the genre.
The mobility features in Halo Infinite work well with the game’s many weaponry and equipment, which encourages play that is both quick and forceful. It is extremely useful to be able to slide after sprinting because it allows you to travel ahead to rapidly round tight corners, which is useful for both attack and defense.
There are a few completely new weapons included in Halo Infinite. Each of these weapons is built with secondary effects or firing modes that, when employed appropriately, lead to rewarding outcomes.
The online multiplayer mode of Halo Infinite takes everything that is wonderful about Halo and intensifies it by adding the quicker pace and powers of more modern-day shooters. It is an excellent shooter game, one that has a strong sound design, weapons that strike with great kinetic force, and gameplay that is satisfying.
- Sound design
- Gunplay is solid
- Graphical fidelity is high
- Battle pass progression is awful
- Customization is locked behind armor sets in the store
- Recording clips are buggy on Xbox
|Awards||Best Visually-authentic game based on WW1|
|Release Date||October 21, 2016|
|Gameplay Type||First-person shooter, Single-player, multiplayer|
The multiplayer component of Battlefield 1 remains true to the action that the franchise is known for. When compared side by side, Battlefield 1’s level of violence and brutality seems to have no limits, whereas the battle setting in Warzone 2.0 seems to have some of the edge taken off of it.
A single match in Battlefield 1 may take place over as many as five separate sections inside the same territory, which is roughly equivalent to playing on five different compact maps.
Even if Battlefield 1 is only an introduction to one of the bloodiest historical events in history, it is an exceptional combat bundle because of its powerful single-player narratives and online multiplayer modes. Both EA and DICE have shown that the First World War is an era of history that is worthy of being revisited in first-person shooter games.
- Fantastic graphics
- Interesting single-player mode
- Excellent portrayal of World War 1
- Short Singleplayer
- Longer load times for multiplayer matches
- The bloated user interface in multiplayer
Battlefield V Firestorm
|Awards||Best BR game of the Battlefield series|
|Release Date||November 20, 2018|
|Gameplay Type||First-person shooter, battle royale, Single-player, multiplayer|
Firestorm is a free update for Battlefield V, and it finally adds the battle royale model to the BF series, allowing it to go head-to-head with Call of Duty Warzone. The matches begin in a manner that is similar to that of previous games in the genre, with each participant falling from the sky. They then proceed in the manner that you would anticipate, with squads searching for weapons and supplies while engaged in combat with one another in an effort to be the last team remaining.
DICE claims that Halvøy is the largest area they’ve ever included in a Battlefield game, and it’s where the BR game mode takes place. It is a hundred times bigger than the biggest map in Battlefield V, which is called Hamada.
You will be able to play as any of your troops from the conventional multiplayer modes; however, their class-specific skills will not be accessible to you, but their personalized appearance will be. There is support for up to 64 people in Firestorm, and the Battle Royale mode, in contrast to the rest of the game, was created not by DICE but rather by Criterion.
- Fast Time to Kill
- Vehicles give you an edge in armor and damage
- Guns act differently from the regular multiplayer mode
- Ammo can be scarce at times
- Very big map
- Too much waiting time to find someone and kill
|Awards||Best strategy shooter game|
|Release Date||December 12, 2018|
|Developer/Publisher||New World Interactive|
|Gameplay Type||Tactical shooter, Multiplayer|
There is no single-player story in Insurgency; instead, it focuses on a variety of tried-and-true multiplayer modes that are played on maps that are instantly recognizable as being identical to hundreds of others. Arguably, this title rivals the best war games on PS4 and best sniper games on PS4 in 2022, and it is very similar to Warzone 2.0 as well.
The first-person shooter developed by New World Interactive and is set in an unremarkable conflict zone in the Middle East does not bother with a narrative or context outside of its aims.
The whole of Insurgency: Sandstorm’s gameplay comprises either player-versus-player (PvP) or player-versus-environment (PvE) material distributed over eight different game types. Insurgency: Sandstorm is still quite good at what it does, even if there isn’t a realistic and hard-hitting campaign. This is even though the game gives the impression that it doesn’t provide much at first glance.
Sandstorm increases the standard for Insurgency, both in terms of its execution and its richness of options. You won’t find the kind of fast-paced shooting action that you’re seeking at this place. Insurgency: Sandstorm, on the other hand, will pull you into its universe and force you to engage in stressful tactical combat while also making excellent use of music.
Sandstorm is not a massive blockbuster like Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0, but you still get to enjoy battle moments that might be as intense as those you may have experienced in other Call of Duty games.
- Hardcore military simulation game
- Designed to play with coordination
- Sound design is top notch
- Not for casual players
- Unforgiving gameplay elements
- Difficult to play without communication
|Awards||Best Borderlands game in the series|
|Release Date||September 18, 2012|
|Gameplay Type||Action role-playing, first-person shooter, Single-player, multiplayer|
Even if you begin playing Borderlands 2 in the year 2020, the game will keep you occupied for a very, very long time. This time around, the surroundings of Pandora are brighter and more varied than ever before, and the game’s already eye-catching graphical approach has been invigorated with an expanded color palette and more ingenious features.
There are a ton of other locations to explore during the course of your journey, some of which you won’t even have a chance to see if you stick to the main plot quests the whole time. The task system is one aspect of the game in which seemingly little changes may have a significant effect. You also have the option in the menu to disregard tasks, which will save you from having to repeatedly scroll through completed missions that have been left behind to get the ones you want.
Although the scale of Borderlands 2 is not much expanded over that of its predecessor, practically every aspect of the game has been improved. Although there were moments when it seemed like there wasn’t much going on in the game, the sequel is packed to the gills with substance and teeming with life, making it an utterly pleasant way to spend your spare time.
- Loot rewards are satisfying
- Beautiful world and characters
- Variety of guns than the prequel
- Occasional crashes while playing co-op
- Old looking graphics
- Lacks instant save feature
|Awards||Best Hero BR game|
|Release Date||June 2, 2020|
|Gameplay Type||Hero shooter, Tactical shooter, Multiplayer|
Riot’s first new game after the debut of the incredibly successful League of Legends is called Valorant. You will eventually be able to enhance your character choices, the game’s overall balance, the map design, and almost every other facet of the experience. The gameplay that will support all of those prospective future expansions is pretty much on par with everything else I’ve seen in a competitive setting.
Mastering the aim and various crosshair settings in Valorant is enough to win rounds. If that is a tough bargain, then you can always use aim trainers and the best settings to become better at the game. However, at the end of the day, it all comes down to how you use agents in the field. That is why consider reading our tier list & Valorant walkthrough to learn how each Agent performs in the field.
Valorant’s basic game mode is simple. The game is played by two teams, each consisting of five players, with one side taking the offensive and the other taking the defensive position. After 12 rounds, the sides trade places, and the first team to win 13 rounds wins the match. The match is won by the team that wins the most rounds.
However, the gameplay of Valorant deviates from that of Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 BR in the form of its characters, who are referred to as Agents. At the outset of a battle, each player chooses one of 11 Agents to represent them, and each Agent has their own unique skills, bringing an additional layer of strategy to the game.
The fascinating thing about Valorant’s skills is the way in which they collaborate with one another. The fighting in this game is one of the most enjoyable aspects of shooter games because of how tremendously fulfilling it is.
- Agent variety brings excitement to the combat
- Tactical and strategic combat
- Wide variety of guns
- Lacks map variety
- Difficult without communication
- Repetitive gameplay loop
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
|Awards||Best CS game in the series|
|Release Date||September 23, 2014|
|Developer/Publisher||Valve, Hidden Path Entertainment|
|Gameplay Type||Tactical first-person shooter, Multiplayer|
You can play Counter-Strike offline versus AI bots, but these games are only simulations of play that are similar to online against real people. Counter-Strike is a complete multiplayer experience. There are two distinct competition formats as well as two levels of play. The Casual difficulty setting is intended for players with less experience and disables features like friendly fire. While the Ranked play mode makes use of an extensive skill-based ranking system, it is still an attempt to create well-balanced teams by pairing strong players with other strong players.
Blinding & then fragging enemies should be the first choice of ambush in CSGO. That is why you must read our best smoke spots and best grenade spots in CSGO to be the first player in the team to lead the assault. The game offers a slow learning curve & you can read us how to get better at CSGO guide to become a pro player faster.
The ranked level is the original mode of Counter-Strike, and it is the only mode with all of the “realistic” settings turned on. In addition, it has a complex skill-based ranking system that is designed to strive to balance teams and match excellent players with other skilled players. Arms Race eliminates the waiting period that normally occurs when a player dies, making the overall experience much more similar to that of a regular deathmatch game.
The greatest aspects of the original multiplayer first-person shooter have been preserved, and CS: GO adds much more while also making some minor adjustments. This does not make it fall into the games like Warzone 2.0 list, instead, it makes the title stand out. If you like first-person shooters and cooperative gameplay similar to that in Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0, you will also enjoy this game.
- Significant graphical upgrade from the prequel
- Few new maps
- Teamplay is the core element still
- Not for solo play
- Gun mastery is challenging
Star Wars: Battlefront II
|Awards||Best multiplayer Star Wars game|
|Release Date||November 17, 2017|
|Gameplay Type||First-person shooter, Third-person shooter, Single-player, multiplayer|
The online modes and single-player options in Battlefront II broaden the scope of the galactic combat and include a greater range of settings than in the previous installment. As you can see, there is no Battle royale mode in this version of the game. However, when you participate in light saber to light saber engagements in Battlefront II, the intensity and heat of the battle are very much present and noticeable.
The single-player campaign in the sequel to Battlefront is driven by a story, in contrast to the previous Battlefront game. The fast-paced campaign lasts for four to five hours and has some excellent writing as well as performances from the actors; nonetheless, the promise of the Imperial point of view is quickly lost.
The huge amount of multiplayer content in Battlefront II is the game’s primary selling point. Fights between many players are often heated situations, particularly when they include a maximum number of 40 participants. The large-scale battles have the same exhilarating rhythm as some of the most legendary clashes in Star Wars, where one heroic deed may swing the tide of a struggle. These conflicts are also quite impressive, along with some great visual and sound design.
Despite the fact that it has a few problems, Battlefront II is still able to successfully recreate the same feeling of exhilaration and excitement that can be found at the series’s very heart.
- Class, heroes, and villains bring a lot of variety to multiplayer
- Excellent PvP and PvE game modes
- Amazing graphics and map terrain details
- Weak story
- Loot drops and microtransactions spoil the rewards experience
|Awards||Best Titanfall game in the series|
|Release Date||October 28, 2016|
|Gameplay Type||First-person shooter, Single-player, multiplayer|
Conventional firefights between human soldiers and enormous mech vs. mech confrontations are the primary focus of Titanfall 2’s gameplay. Titanfall 2’s fighting and the battle’s intensity are fast-paced, in contrast to Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0, and this speed is also the strongest aspect of the game. Titanfall 2 has the vibe of a game that Respawn should have developed back in 2013.
Titanfall 2 has a total of six unique walking combat tanks, each of which comes equipped with its weaponry. Each of the Titans’ skills may be picked up quickly, but it takes practice to become proficient, and their loadouts are obvious once you see them. Each of Titanfall 2’s multiplayer modes has been fine-tuned to make the most of the game’s intricately knit combat mechanics and inject some originality into the gameplay.
Titanfall 2 makes certain tweaks to its multiplayer mode that may not appear significant initially, but the end effect is a more natural flow of events and a more strategic gaming loop. It includes a single-player storyline that progressively increases in difficulty with each objective until it reaches a spectacular fight that utilizes both Pilot and Titan combat as its centerpiece.
- Excellent story
- Class and titan based multiplayer brings a lot of variety
- Too many weapons
- Short Campaign
- Lacks multiplayer modes
|Awards||Best Hero Shooter game of 2019|
|Release Date||February 4, 2019|
|Gameplay Type||Battle royale, first-person hero shooter|
The Apex Legends events occurred some years after the conclusion of Titanfall 2 when the Frontier conflict was over. Even though Apex Legends is just a multiplayer game, it manages to keep fans of the franchise invested in the characters. Even while the player is in the middle of playing the game, one of the characters may come across a certain location and discuss it with another character in the game.
While Apex Legends is not VRAM hungry game like Warzone 2.0, read our how-to get high FPS in Apex Legends guide & smoothen your gameplay experience. You can always aim better and learn tips and tricks from the best Apex Legends players who dominate the ranked scene of the game. That is why it is also important to know the overall standing of each legend in the game & you must read our tier list and Apex Legends walkthrough guide to get an idea about it.
No matter the game mode you choose in Apex Legends, they are all centered on the battle royale format similar to that of Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0. The catch is that every one of the characters you choose is unique compared to the others. This is exactly what gives Apex Legends its addictive quality.
The gameplay is where Apex Legends really shines, and it’s one of the reasons why the vast majority of gamers have been sticking with this game since it came out in 2019. Apex has good mobility, and both sliding and leaping feel amazing to do. The gunplay in Apex Legends is easily the most enjoyable aspect of the game.
If you haven’t experienced the thrill of playing a battle royale game before, 2022 is the year to start with Apex Legends. Choose this one if you are looking for an intensive experience that is comparable to Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0.
- Best class and ability features-based battle royale game
- Ping System is advanced
- Lots of character and guns variety increases replay value
- The special weapon spawn rate is poor
- Not many game modes
|Awards||Best Destiny 2 game in the series|
|Release Date||September 6, 2017|
|Gameplay Type||First-person shooter, MMOG, Multiplayer|
The narrative of Destiny 2 is sufficient to fulfill its primary function, which is to provide a setting for the activities of killing enemies and collecting treasure throughout the game. Its antagonist is a generic version of a conquering character with a ravenous appetite for power and carnage. The main plot’s atmosphere and the little details are where the tale shines, which should be enough for the vast majority of gamers.
While it’s been five years since the release of Destiny 2, the game sometimes crashes on PC. Read our Destiny 2 crashing on PC guide & learn how to fix it. If you’re just starting D2 in 2023, then our leveling guide should give you enough boost to raise the levels of your Guardian quickly. Also, don’t forget to read our Destiny 2 Exotic weapons and armor tier list before you read further.
Similar to Destiny 1, there is a significant amount of grinding that must be accomplished in order to reach the high-level endgame activities, such as the Nightfall strike and the Raid after the main storyline has been completed. If you play Warzone 2.0, you won’t have to worry about doing anything like this since the game has less grinding and more enjoyment right from the start. However, this does not imply that the grinding in Destiny 2 is tedious.
The co-op experience in Destiny 2 is unquestionably superior, as you and up to four other players may work together for as much as ten continuous hours to complete the Raid. The game has a foundation that is far more robust than the one the original had, and it is sufficient on its own to keep players coming back on a monthly basis.
- Major improvements from the prequel in graphics, gameplay, and loot
- Advanced RPG elements
- Class dependency is more impactful now
- Endgame content is weak [base-game only]
- Raids are not as interesting as the first game
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege
|Awards||Most played Rainbow Six title in the series|
|Release Date||December 1, 2015|
|Gameplay Type||Tactical shooter, Single-player, multiplayer|
In spite of the fact that Rainbow Six Siege has undergone significant development throughout the course of its existence, the game has always consisted of a conflict between attackers and defenders over a single objective. The attacking team’s goal throughout each round is to get closer to a certain target; the defending team’s mission is to knock the attacking team back and prevent them from achieving their goal. When compared to the anxiety, you feel when playing COD Warzone 2.0, R6’s level of suspense is far higher.
While R6 has aged like a fine wine, the game, at times, still crashes in 2023. Read our Rainbow Six Siege Crashing guide and learn how to fix your game. Or, if you’re starting fresh, then our Pro Settings guide will give you enough tips to get headshots or body shots easily. Learning how to get better at Rainbow Six Siege is not that difficult & you should follow pro players like Shroud to learn & become better at R6.

- Guns feel heavy and impactful
- Lots of character variety increases the replay value of R6
- Not for casual play
- Too much dependency on communication ruins funs
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG)
|Awards||Best genre-defining BR game ever|
|Release Date||December 20, 2017|
|Gameplay Type||Battle Royale, Multiplayer|
PUBG emerges as the most approachable and mechanically sophisticated battle royale game to date, and it even gives Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 a run for its money in terms of competitiveness. PUBG is a shooter that takes the shape of a succession of calculated risks, and the fact that it is impossible to foresee where or when these moments will occur helps to keep the game interesting. The fact that each match requires more of an investment as it progresses adds another layer of difficulty to the game.
Guns and versatility in playstyle are the heart and soul of PUBG. Consider reading our Best PUBG weapons guide to learn which guns are top-tier ones & which are below average. Or, if you’re following professional players, then you’d already have an idea of how to play the game best, as these players use custom in-game settings.
PUBG is eventually improved due to retaining some of the military simulation underpinnings that were present in its predecessors. Recoil is a fundamental aspect that reduces the efficacy of firearms; thus, you will discover that handling a pistol is not a simple task. As a result of bullet drop, sniping is a far more difficult task than lining up the crosshairs, and the application of health packs takes time, which causes you to think twice about repairing while you are under duress.
Every stage of a match in PUBG introduces a new kind of tension that is terrible and exhilarating in equal measure. High-stakes firefights are usually a very satisfying experience, regardless of whether you participate in them alone or as a group.
- Interesting and addictive multiplayer mode
- A lot of gun variety
- Huge player base and lower loading times
- Punishing battle royale mode
- Repetitive gameplay due to lack of online modes
|Awards||Best BR game with the shooter and building elements|
|Release Date||September 26, 2017|
|Gameplay Type||Third-person shooter, battle royale, Multiplayer|
The presentation of Fortnite has a tone that is consistently playful throughout its whole. The players create simple buildings out of thin air, and the trajectory of the players’ weaponry is vividly shown on the screen. There is some controversy over the traditional battle royale format, but you won’t find it in Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 since the fighting in that mode is more straightforward and deadly.
The gameplay element in Fortnite is fun, and you can equip some of the best weapons and character skins to personalize your avatar and your overall playstyle. If you’re not good at aiming, then you can always tweak settings and get Aimbot Settings in Fortnite to aim better.
The most impressive aspect of Fortnite is the deftness with which it combines a variety of straightforward gameplay elements to produce a unique take on the battle royale genre. What, at first glance, seems to be a basic construction system gradually develops into an intricate exhibition of tactical expertise. There is, however, nothing that will affect the way in which the game is played.
You will seldom find yourself unprepared for a challenge while playing Fortnite. Epic’s constant release of fresh content demonstrates the company’s commitment to the game. Those who have been playing the game for some time are aware of the limited-time modes that, in comparison to the regular mode, provide a subtle difference.
- Best Free To Play Battle Royale game for all ages
- Lots of interesting skins and customization
- The crafting system is unique
- Too much reliance on resource gathering ruins experience sometimes
- Weird visual design choice
|Awards||Best Future Warfare World Setting game|
|Release Date||November 19, 2021|

When Battlefield 2042 successfully combines new concepts with the series’ signature nostalgic vibe, the game is at its most entertaining. The Battlefield series of video games has been in competition with the Call of Duty series of video games for a very long time, and this year’s winner is 2042. You’ll be able to play as a variety of different Specialists in Battlefield 2042, which sets it apart from previous installments in the series.
The most significant new feature in Battlefield 2042 is the inclusion of specialists, which brings about a shift in the decisions you have to make on how you will engage in combat with other players. Consequently, even while numerous characters have the potential to be experts in the support or attack classes, each one is unique from the others. It borrows elements from other hero shooter games like Warzone 2.0 and Insurgency Sandstorm to create the feel of a hero shooter in Battlefield 2042.
The sheer amount of content available in Battlefield 2042 is one of the game’s most striking features. It gives you access to a wide variety of first-person shooter experiences, various game types, and a great deal more. A live-game method seems to be capable of providing a significant amount of extra gameplay diversity to BF2042 throughout the course of its lifetime.
- Excellent futuristic warfare game
- Too much gameplay variety
- It does not have a single-player mode
- Buggy launch
- It feels like a rushed Battlefield game

Even while Overwatch 2 is not the same as Warzone 2.0 in every way, the main gameplay aspects, such as teamwork, strategy, and takeover of objectives, are similar enough to justify drawing comparisons between the two games. The action is more intense, louder, and more rapid than before, while the speech lines are wittier and occur more often.
The introduction of 5v5 combat in Overwatch 2 is one of the game’s most notable new features and represents one of the most major changes. The game removes one of these tanks from play, reducing the size of each squad by one and, as a result, changing the way that fights are fought. This may be aggravating at times since some tanks are significantly better at remaining put and taking damage, while others are far better at chasing down foes and doing damage to them.
Overwatch 2 gives the impression of being a terrific upgrade to a multiplayer game, with gameplay mechanisms that allow exciting battles to take place between teams of heroes. The game’s cast of characters is one of its strongest selling points. The older characters have been given a helpful soft revamp thanks to the alterations that have been made to them, which gives them the revamp they require while not destroying the beauty of their base models.
Before you continue reading the pros and cons, why not take a look at our Overwatch 2 walkthrough guide and learn about the best healers, DPS, support, and tank heroes? Not only do you need characters that suit your playstyle, but you also need the best team composition to win matches in Overwatch 2.
- 5 versus 5 is a welcome addition
- It has a few new heroes
- It feels more balanced game than the prequel
- Very slow Battleplay progression
- Buggy launch and server crashes
