There are many collectibles in Gotham Knights that unlock all sorts of rewards. One of those collectibles in Gotham Knights is the Historia Strigidae Pages. There are a total of 42 of them, and they all go towards unlocking the “Read Owl About It” trophy. The pages are spread all across Gotham and give insight into the Court of Owl’s inception hundreds of years ago.
You can start collecting the pages after completing the second main case of the game. You’ll need to collect the marked page in Bristol on your map first; after that, you can begin collecting the pages in any order. The tutorial teaches you how to look for them, but in short, you need to look out for the lit-up upside-down triangles indicating a page in the area. The catch is that the page won’t be lit-up, so you need to look carefully around the area.
- There are 42 different pages throughout the map.
- Each district can have from one all the way up to six pages.
- Nearby pages are indicated by glowing symbols, whereas the actual page is indicated by dark encryption.
- Collecting all of the pages grants you the “Read Owl About It” trophy.,
The first main area where you can find a good amount of Historia Strigidae pages is in Bristol, North Gotham. That’s also the same area where you’ll find the first Historia Strigidae page in order to begin collecting all of them.
Historia Strigidae Page #1Getting to the area of the first page is quite easy. Open up your map after having completed the second case of the game, and go over to Bristol. You’ll see a marker showcasing the general location of the first page. When you reach the area, you’ll be given a tutorial on how to find the Historia Pages generally. Essentially, the white markers indicate a nearby page, and the dull marker indicates its exact location. However, finding the dull marker isn’t that straightforward, which is why we’ll guide you on the exact location of each page.
For the first page, you need to head to the crypts in the graveyard. The page will be on the inner side of the second crypt, the one that is closer to the tall pillar in the graveyard.
Historia Strigidae Page #2Head over to the entrance of Arkham Asylum, as shown in the image. Right outside the closed door that has “Arkham Asylum” written on it, you’ll find a building to the right of the door. For a better idea, there is also an abandoned ambulance car next to the building. With your back turned to the Arkham Asylum door, look up at the flat roof on the side of the main building; you should be able to grapple up there. When you get up there, the page is directly in the middle of the wall.
Historia Strigidae Page #3Head over to the start of the Eastern bridge that leads you from North Gotham to New Gotham. Go underneath the bridge, and you’ll find the white markings on both sides of the bridge. Head directly underneath the bridge and face the side that leads into North Gotham rather than the side that faces New Gotham. You’ll find a scaffolding right next to the wall of the bridge, climb it, and you’ll find the page.
Robinson Park – Historia Strigidae Page #4There is only one page in Robinson Park, so you don’t have to spend too much time in the area. Head over to the main park that is shown in the image above. The first marker that you’ll find in the area will be on the bench; we’ll use that as our starting point. From the marker on the bench, look to your right; there will be a lamp post. You can grapple up towards the lamp post. While on the lamp post, look forward, such that the bench is on your left side, as shown in the image above. Jump down from the lamp post and go forward towards the wall, and you’ll find the page.
Gotham Heights is the last location in North Gotham that has Historia Strigidae pages. There are three different pages that you can collect in Gotham Heights.
Historia Strigidae Page #5Head to the marker shown on the map in the image above. You’ll end up landing right next to a fountain-like structure. The page is right above the bench against the wall. Interacting with the wall can be tricky because the interaction button doesn’t appear at times. But don’t climb the bench, as your character will just climb the wall. Try standing directly in front of the marking, as close as possible, and you’ll be able to get it.
Historia Strigidae Page #6When you arrive at the marked location, try not to land at the street level; remain on the roofs because you’ll find it easier to locate the exact location. When you’re on the roof marked on the map, look to the Northwest. You should be able to see the building shown in the image above; grapple over to it, and you’ll find the page on the wall.
Historia Strigidae Page #7The last page in the location is near the leftmost side of Gotham Heights. Head over to the marker and grapple onto the long pole to get a better view of the page.As shown in the image, the page will be directly in front of you if you’re on top of the pole. Simply grapple over and grab it.
If you’re following the pages in the exact order as laid out in the guide, then West End in New Gotham should be the closest to your right now. That’s why we’ll be moving on to that area next. There are a good amount of pages in the area (five total).
Historia Strigidae Page #8Right as you cross the bridge from North Gotham to New Gotham, you’ll be able to find the building where the next page is located. Head over to the marker shown on the map and face northwards. You should be able to see graffiti on the wall that says “fraud.” And exactly to its left is the page.
Historia Strigidae Page #9The next page is on the Northern side of New Gotham, by the water. Head over to the marker on the map, and you should be able to spot a bunch of buildings right next to the water. Among one of those buildings, there will be one with parked trucks in the garage. It’s also one of the buildings that are right on the edge. You’ll find the page on the balcony of the building, near the windows.
Historia Strigidae Page #10The next page is almost in the center of the West End. At the marker, there will be three buildings connected together, with the middle one being an extremely tall building. Head to the shorter building next to the tall one, as shown in the marker in the image. When you’re on the roof of the shorter building, the taller building should be to your right, and exactly in front of you, there should be a wall with the word “Wanky” graffiti on it. Go to the bottom right of the wall, and you’ll find the page.
Historia Strigidae Page #11Near the bottom of West End, next to one of the bridges, you’ll find a church as marked on the map. Head over to the church and reach street level. The page will be on the wall, underneath one of the lights. For reference, there will be an outer wall of the church with a white marker as well as shown in the image. Directly in front of it, beyond the wall, is the page.
Historia Strigidae Page #12
On the South side of West End, near the bridge that leads to the next area, there will be a building with a billboard in the marked area on the map. Head over to the roof on the back side of the billboard, and while facing the bridge, look to your left towards the wall of the connected building. The page is near the middle of the wall; you’ll be able to spot the markings as soon as you approach it.
Right next to West End, on its right, is Otisburg. There are three different pages that you can find in that area.
Historia Strigidae Page #13To the South of Wayne Tower, you’ll find Berger Avenue and FOXTECA (you can find the names when fully zoomed into the map). Right to the East of FOXTECA, in the marked area, you’ll find a construction site on road level, inside the allies. There will be a blue container next to a brown van; climb the container, and on the wall right in front after climbing is where the next page is.
Historia Strigidae Page #14A bit West to the fast travel point of Otisburg and at the marked location, you’ll find a church next to a tall building. In between the church and the tall building, on the wall of the tall building, is where you’ll find the page.If you’re struggling to find the exact location, stand on the roof of the church. To your left should be a building under construction with the Quinzanos Construction sign. And on your right should be another tall building with a Stagg Industries sign. If these two signs are to your right and left, then the page should be directly in front of you.
Historia Strigidae Page #15In between Wayne Tower and Knightsdome Sporting Complex, there will be a rooftop right in the middle, next to Janson Street, as shown in the image. When you reach there, one of the walls will have two giant graffiti which will read Sypher and Tapta. In between, them will be the page. You’ll find the wall while looking East, towards Wayne Tower.
Bowery is the third and last location in New Gotham. It is on the extreme East side of the area, and there are four different Historia Strigidae pages of Gotham Knights that you can collect.
Historia Strigidae Page #16You need to head northeast of Knightsdome Sporting Complex and right above Monarch Theatre and Atlantic Avenue, as shown in the image above.
On the rooftops, you’ll find a wall, as you face East, that has a huge graffiti sign that says “HELL?” Right next to the “E” in the graffiti is where the page is.
Historia Strigidae Page #17On the top right side of Bowery, near the water, you’ll find a red-bricked wall with a bunch of boxes near it. Head over to the location as shown on the map. You’ll find the page right of the door and the left of the red and yellow “S” sign.
You’ll need to climb on top of the boxes to reach the page. And if you’re struggling to locate the location, it is the second building from the extreme top right of the Bowery.
Historia Strigidae Page #18On the bottom right side of the Bowery, you’ll find the Cape Carmine. Head to the cliffs on the northern side of the Cape Carmine; you’ll find the page on the rocks near the lamp light. If you have a look at the image above, there is a wooden dock-like structure where the highlighted circle is. Head there and you’ll find the page in the wall.
Historia Strigidae Page #19Head to the marker shown near the bridge at the lower areas of Bowery. Over there, you’ll find a “Deeply Fishy” sign. If you stand on top of it or underneath it and face north, you’ll be directly looking in the direction of the page.Head up the stairs that are visible after looking north from the sign, and the pages will be on the extreme right of the wall that comes right after the stairs.
Appropriate to its name, Tricorner Island only has three pages for you to find. They’re well hidden and can be hard to find at times.
Historia Strigidae Page #20The first page of Tricorner island can be found underneath the Robert Cane Memorial Bridge. In fact, if you go underneath the bridge and right on top of the fast travel marker in that area, you should reach the page. The page is well hidden and is on a wall with vegetation on it. Finding the area through nearby landmarks can be hard because of how narrow the areas are. Just follow the map, and you should reach the area.
Historia Strigidae Page #21The next page is found at Fort Dumas. Head to the south side of Fort Dumas, and when you scan, you’ll likely find a white marker just before a corridor. Go inside the corridor, and look to your right; the page will be there.Referring to the image above, if you enter through the red marked area, you’ll find the page immediately to your right.
Historia Strigidae Page #22The final Historia Strigidae page in Tricorner of Gotham Knights is near the bridge that leads to Old Gotham, right next to Sr. Adrian Avenue and west of the Statue of Justice, as shown on the map.
Head to the building with the giant billboard and get down to street level. There will be blue metal beams. Head to the beam to the extreme right; there will be six written in white on the floor near it as well. The page is in the walls behind the beams.
Moving toward the southern areas of the Gotha Knights map, there are up to six Historia Strigidae pages found in Old Gotham (which comes under historic Gotham).
Historia Strigidae Page #23South of the bridge that connects Tricorner Island and Old Gotham, and exactly the first building that is East of the Gotham City Cathedral, you’ll find a building with a triangular-shaped roof. You need to head to one of the lower sections of the roofs and face toward the cathedral, as shown in the image. The page will be on the wall.
Historia Strigidae Page #24Northwest of Court Street and South of Logerquist Avenue, you’ll find a roof with a huge water tank that even appears on the map when you’re fully zoomed in.Head towards that water tank, and you’ll find the page on the wall that is right next to the base of the water tank.
Historia Strigidae Page #25South of Gotham City Hall, near the water, there will be a tall building with another water tank on top. Go south from the water tank, and fall down to a lower roof.Look back towards the wall of the water tank (facing north on the map), and you should be able to spot the page on the wall.
Historia Strigidae Page #26Southwest of Gotham City Cathedral, there is a building with a huge roof right above Grand Avenue. When you reach the location at the marker, you need to look in the West direction and look out for a wall on the roof with a lit-up lamp.If you refer to the image above when you’re at the location, there should be a water tank to your left, and the wall with the page will be right in front of you.
Historia Strigidae Page #27A bit south from the last location, and between Canal Street and Bay Street, you need to head to the street level where the marker is shown on the map. When you drop down, the page will be on the wall in front of you if you’re facing South.
Historia Strigidae Page #28On the northern side of old Gotham, near the water, you’ll find the Powers Club. It is the same building that you entered during the second main case.Head to the southern side of the building, near a roof with an open ceiling. Look towards the East wall, and you should find the marking on the wall.
Financial District is on the west side of Historic Gotham in Gotham Knights and there are six different Historia Strigidae pages that you can find here.
Historia Strigidae Page #29Head West of Quartz Lab, near the water. Right next to the lab, there will be a building with a water tank on top of it.Head to the ground level, next to the water, and look at the wall; you should be facing South, and your back should be to the water. The page will be below red graffiti.
Historia Strigidae Page #30Head to the extreme top left of the financial district, near the water, and Northwest of the Ice Lounge. You’ll find the Gotham City Ferry Co. You need to go to the south side of the building as shown on the map. When you reach the location, there will be a small roof, pretty much near the street level. Grapple to the roof, and the wall, in between two windows is where you’ll find the page.
Historia Strigidae Page #31You need to head over to Blackgate Island, which is on the western side of the Financial District. Once there, take the same path that you took during the Harley Quinn case. When at the main gate, turn left and go on the rocky path. There will be a rocky wall there with the page on it.
Historia Strigidae Page #32On the East side of the Elliot Center and West of Barr Avenue, you need to climb the first roof of the building, next to the tall memorial.
The page will be behind the big structure that has Elliot Center written on it.
Historia Strigidae Page #33This page is actually quite tricky because it’s hidden underground. Start off by going northeast of Elliot Center, above Barr Avenue, and below Grand Avenue.Over there, slightly northeast of a roof with a water tank on it, you should be able to spot a hole in a roof that leads all the way down into an underground area.
When you jump down, take a left into the shining orange room, and take another left. You should be led to an open room with a grappling point right in front of you.
Grapple to the point, head a bit forward, and the page should be on your left in the open room.
Historia Strigidae Page #34Head to the southern parts of the Financial District, South to the GCN building and Dozier Avenue. Over there, you should be able to spot a restaurant with a red neon sign that says “diner.”Just above that sign, to the right, there will be a wall with graffiti on it. The page will also be on that same wall.
The Cauldron is one of the smaller areas in the lower parts of Gotham Knights, but it has quite a lot of Historia Strigidae pages in it. But because it’s small, you should be able to get around much more quickly.
Historia Strigidae Page #35For the next page, you need to head west of Paris Island, near the water. Over there, you should be able to find a metal fence box.For a better idea, look for the upside-down triangle sign; it’ll be right next to the metal structure. Go down the metal structure, and you’ll end up in a tunnel. Go just a few steps ahead, and on your right, you’ll find the page.
Historia Strigidae Page #36Southwest of Paris Island and Diangelo Avenue, you’ll find a building with an opening that leads you all the way into the tunnels.Go through the first tunnel, which will take you deeper underground. Then, there will be another tunnel similar to the first one, which will take you even more, deeper underground. You should be able to find the page on the wall at the end of the tunnel, on your left.
Historia Strigidae Page #37For the next page, you need to head over to Paris Island. Over there, you should be able to spot two large towers, one being taller than the other. For a better idea, there will also be a tall water tank to the left of the towers.Go to the base of the taller tower, and grapple one step upwards on the roof. There will be graffiti on the tower, and on its right will be the page.
Historia Strigidae Page #38Head to the bridge on Gate Street, towards the Eastern side of The Cauldron. When on the bridge and looking Eastwards, you should be able to spot three buildings, with the middle roof being the shortest one.Jump towards the shorter roof, and the page should be on your left. For better reference, there will be graffiti in front of you if you’re on the right roof. And to see if you’re in the right general area, there will be a court below you with drawings of rainbows and other typical playground stuff.
Historia Strigidae Page #39On the extreme East side of The Cauldron, towards the water, there will be a building with quite a wide roof.Head towards the marker, and you should be able to spot a neon sign that reads “Dry Cleaner.” On the roof of that building, there will be a wall on the right, head towards it, and you should be able to find the page.
The final area that is left is the Southside. It only has three of the Gotham Knights Historia Strigidae pages, so you should be able to clear out the area with ease.
Historia Strigidae Page #40You need to head towards the Northern side of the tall Coblepot Steel building. Over there, climb to the very top, and look for the plant pot on the balcony. The page will be right next to the plant pot as shown in the image.
Historia Strigidae Page #41The next page is found in almost top-mid sections of Southside, East of Cobblepot Steel and Manchester Street. When you head to the area on the marker, you’ll be lead to a tall building with a reddish neon sign. Go all the way at the top, and the page will be on the wall that is highlighted.
Historia Strigidae Page #42Southeast of Cobblepot Steel and almost directly south from the last location, there will be an almost curved-shaped building. If you have a look at the image above, when facing the direction of the page, there should be a billboard behind in that direction as well. The page is in the highlighted wall.
That wraps up all of the locations Historia Strigidae Pages in Gotham Knights. Not only do they provide interesting reading material which expands the lore, but also help you get an achievement/trophy.
