Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy was released on October 26, 2021, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Microsoft Windows. The game features a merry band of five misfits who traverse the beautiful vistas of the galaxy, build their relationship and sometimes run into endless arguments about who was right or wrong. Players play as Peter Quill a.k.a Star-Lord who can control the rest of teammates via various commands. Unlocking all the costumes or Outfits In Guardians of Galaxy is just to give each Guardian a refreshing look and they do not have any impact on the overall stats of the characters. All costumes can be acquired in a single playthrough and they are not hard to find, however, they are easy to miss. Not all chapters in the game have outfit collectibles. If memory serves us right, we believe Chapter 9, Chapter 11, and Chapter 15 do not have a costume collectible. Other than that, the rest of the collectibles that could otherwise be missed while progressing through the story, have been added to the list here.

Guardians of Galaxy Chapter 1 Outfits
There are two collectible costumes in Chapter 1 and the first six costumes are unlocked as you start playing the game. Here is the list of six outfits that you get from the get-go.
- Peter Quill: Standard Outfit
- Peter Quill: Social Lord
- Drax: Standard Outfit
- Gamora: Standard Outfit
- Groot: Standard Outfit
- Rocket: Standard Outfit
Rocket: Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)
After reaching at the location shown in the image below, jump down and you will find the costume at the right end corner. It is pretty much easy to spot but can be missed if you keep following Rocket. 
Groot: Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)
To find Groot’s Guardians of the Galaxy 2014 movie’s costume, you need to go left after reaching at the location shown in the image here. Groot and Rocket will be on your left but to collect the costume, you must go left and pass through the contraption by crouching. The next outfit collectible will be right in front of you.
Guardians of Galaxy Chapter 2 Outfit
In chapter 2, there is only one collectible outfit for you to find. You can miss it and may have to come back later so as to unlock the Guardians of the Galaxy Fashion Passion achievement or trophy.
Star-Lord: Nova Lord Costume
After being escorted by Nikki in Chapter 2, you need to not follow her for a while. Instead, crouch and pass under these pipes to collect the Star-Lord Nova outfit before progressing the story further. Here are a few images for your reference.
Guardians of Galaxy Chapter 3 Outfits
In Chapter 3, there are two collectible costumes for you to get.
Gamora: Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) Costume
Finding Gamora’s 2014 Guardians of the Galaxy movie costume requires a tad bit of exploring. Reach at the point shown in the image here while playing Chapter 3. Then go to the right where Rocket is standing. Keep going ahead until you reach a narrow passage that requires crouching.
After exiting the narrow passage, you would spot the artifact from a distance. However, to reach there you must get down, go to the right and beat a couple of enemies to progress.
After that, jump across a platform, squeeze through a narrow passage and climb up a level to reach the Gamora’s movie outfit collectible.
Groot: Five Horsemen of The Apocalypse Costume
To progress the Guardians of the Galaxy outfits location guide, reach at the spot shown in the image below, request Groot to make a bridge for Star-Lord to cross.
Once you cross it, go left which will take you up. You must clear out the obstruction and climb up. Once you are there, freeze the mist or high-pressure gas so that you can do a little bit of platforming to reach the high ground.
After reaching at the top, you will find the Groot: Five Horsemen of The Apocalypse outfit.
Guardians of Galaxy Chapter 4 Outfits
Chapter 4 has a total of two collectible suits, however, the variation in how you collect them depends on the choices made in Chapter 3. No outfit is missable hence you can easily get Guardians of the Galaxy Fashion Passion achievement or trophy.
Drax: Guardians of the Galaxy Costume
The method shown in the images to acquire the costume of Drax is only available if you go with the “Sell Groot” option while doing chapter 3 in the game. After that, once you are at the location as shown in the image.
Go to its exact 180 degrees opposite end and you will find the Drax’s Guardians of the Galaxy movie costume.
Rocket: Five Horsemen of The Apocalypse Costume
Once again, Guardians of the Galaxy outfits location shown here to unlock Rocket’s Five Horsemen of The Apocalypse outfit becomes available only if you select the “Sell Groot” while completing Chapter 3. Once you are in the room as shown in the image here below, go to the location as pointed in the image.
Sneak past the enemy and then crouch through the metal boxes to reach the next outfit collectible location, unlocking the Rocket’s Five Horsemen of the Apocalypse costume.
Drax: Guardians of the Galaxy Costume
The alternate version to acquire Drax’s Guardians of the Galaxy costume is to sell Rocket in Chapter 3 and move onto chapter 4. After reaching at the location mentioned here, keep going straight.
You will need to do a bit of platforming and then go right, the costume collectible will be right in front of you.
Rocket: Five Horsemen of The Apocalypse Costume
Once again, the method we have entailed here will only become available to you in chapter 4 should you sell Rocket in Chapter 3. After you reach the location as shown in the image here below, turn left and collect the Rocket’s Five Horsemen of The Apocalypse costume.
Guardians of Galaxy Chapter 5 Outfits
Chapter five has two costume collectibles to find.
Drax Nova Corps Costume
Moving on to the Guardians of the Galaxy outfits location guide, Drax’s Nova Corps outfit is locked behind the door as shown in the image here below.
To unlock it, go through the adjacent door, shoot the vent and ask Rocket to pass through it. Rocket will tell you that the grid is on backup mode and that the circuit needs switching to reroute the power from Rocket’s end to the locked door.
After completing this little puzzle, you will be able to collect the Drax’s Nova Corps costume.
Groot: Nova Corps Costume
Groot’s Nova Corps outfit is easy to find. All you need to do is reach at the location shown in the map’s image here. You will find the collectible behind the object as pointed in the image.
Guardians of Galaxy Chapter 6 Outfit
There is only one costume to collect in chapter 6 of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy.
Star-Lord: Guardians of The Galaxy (2014) Costume
This collectible is easy to find if you know where to look, otherwise, you can pretty much miss the area and may not get Guardians of the Galaxy Fashion Passion trophy or achievement. Once you are at the location as shown in the image, jump at the red pipes as pointed by the arrow in image, the collectible will be right in front of you.
Guardians of Galaxy Chapter 7 Outfits
There are only two costume collectibles tucked away in Chapter 7.
Rocket: Nova Corps Costume
Star-Lord will need to go up once you pass the room as shown in the image here. You will need to ask Groot to help you lift the platform. After that crouch pass through the narrow passage and you will come across another room with a power rerouting puzzle.
Complete that puzzle and a door on your right will open which will contain the outfit collectible.
Gamora Nova Corps Costume
After reaching at the location as shown on the image, the next collectible can be seen behind the contraption as pointed by the arrow in the image. You must ask Gamora to break the blockade so that you can collect the Nova Corps outfit behind it.
Guardians of Galaxy Chapter 7 Outfit
This chapter has just one costume collectible.
Star-Lord: Bad Lord Costume
After reaching at the location as shown in the map, follow Drax and go through the tunnel. Once you get at the end of it, do not proceed ahead with the path.
Instead, ask Drax to place a platform as shown in the image here below. Then climb on it to access the next room. The next collectible costume will be right in front of you.
Guardians of Galaxy Chapter 8 Outfit
Like Chapter 7, Chapter 8 also contains one costume collectible.

Drax: Cage Match Costume
To advance the Guardians of the Galaxy outfits location guide, when you get down from the elevator, do not proceed ahead with the path. Instead, circle back to the location as pointed out in the image. You will find the next collectible behind these cylinders.
Guardians of Galaxy Chapter 10 Outfits
There are a total of three costume collectibles to collect in chapter 10 of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy.
Gamora: Five Horsemen of The Apocalypse
Gamora’s five Horsemen of the Apocalypse can be easily missed if you consider this water stream as a part of the environment only and as a result, you may not even get to unlock the Guardians of the Galaxy Fashion Passion trophy. However, if you go through it, you will find the outfit collectible.
Rocket: Hero of Halfworld Costume
The next collectible will require you a little bit of adventure and platforming. Once you reach at the rock as shown in the image here, ask Rocket to set a charge by squeezing into it. He will blow the rock, allowing the Guardians to progress.
Then seal the four openings that are releasing gases to move ahead with the band.
After that ask Groot to raise the platform for you.
Then you need to jump across the platforms and cross the edge to reach the Rocket Hero of Halfworld outfit collectible.
Groot: Annihilation Conquest Suit
To find the next Guardians of the Galaxy outfits location, keep following Groot as shown in the image. Then, Groot will lead you towards the left side, however, you must go straight as pointed in the image.
After going straight for a little while, you will come across a gap between the walls as highlighted in the image here. Groot’s annihilation conquest suit is located at the other side of the gap.
Guardians of Galaxy Chapter 12 Outfits
A total of five suit collectibles are available in Chapter 12 of the game.
Drax: Thanos Imperative
The next outfit collectible can be easily missed if you keep progressing through chapter 12. After reaching at the point as shown in the image, ask Drax to move or pull back the object. Climb on it to reach the upper platform. You will find the next collectible in front of you.
Rocket: The Smuggler
The next outfit can be collected after reaching at the location as shown in the image here. Go to the end of the path and on your right will be a contraption. Break it and the outfit can be collected behind it.
Groot Impaler Costume
For the next outfit collectible, when you reach at the location as shown in the image, shoot down the contraption to reveal the opening. Then ask Groot to make a passage for you.
Once you progress further, you will reach a room whose floor is electrified. Ask rocket to go through the narrow passage and disable the electric field. The outfit can be collected at the far right end as pointed out in the image.
Gamora: Casual Kill
This outfit collectible can be easily missed if you are not careful of your surrounding and later you may not even get the Guardians of the Galaxy Fashion Passion. When you reach at the location as shown in the image, seek help from Drax. He will break the ground and will create a sliding passage for you to explore. Once you are down there, pass through the narrow passage and discover the outfit collectible in front of you.
Star Lord: Apocalypse Lord
Advancing the Guardians of the Galaxy outfits location guide, the Apocalypse Lord suit arguably looks way bad-ass than most Star Lord’s costumes. However, acquiring this one will require you a little bit of extra platforming. For starters, you need to break the barrier and ask Drax to pick up the object and place at the location as shown in the image.
Then, climb up a platform, go to the far end of it, and ask Gamora to give you a boost so that you can go even a platform higher than the current one. Once you are at the top, you will find the collectible right in front of you.
Guardians of Galaxy Chapter 13 Outfits
There are four costume collectibles in chapter 13.
Gamora: Black Vortex Costume
The next collectible can be acquired by going up from the location as shown in the image here. Once you are there, ask Gamora to give you a boost. Once you reach at the top, you will find the collectible right in front of you.
Groot: Five O’Clock Sprouts Outfit
Collecting this outfit is pretty easy as you need to cross the ledge and go to the far side as shown in the image. Once you are there, you will spot the collectible outfit in front of you.
Star-Lord: War-Lord Outfit
Acquiring the next outfit requires you to shoot down the objects as pointed out in the image below. Once they have been shot down, they will create a passage for you to platform ahead.
Then on your left, you will find two similar objects to shoot down. After that, ask Groot to raise the platform at the upper level. The Star-Lord: War-Lord outfit can be found after reaching at the top level.
Rocket: The Stinger Outfit
This costume can be collected by shooting down the three trees as pointed out in the image here. The collectible outfit can be interacted with after clearing out the trees.
Drax: Katathian Monk Outfit
Collecting this costume is fairly easy. All you need to do is climb up the level as pointed here and go at the far end of it. You will find the outfit collectible on the ground.
Guardians of Galaxy Chapter 14 Outfits
You will find three costume collectibles in chapter 14.
Star-Lord: Team Lord Costume
In order to reach at the next outfit’s location, you need to time your movement with the large fan’s timely propeller blades. You need to reach on the top platform and then jump across from one side of the deck to the other side to reach the outfit collectible. Here is an image for reference. Collecting this outfit will require but your patience but if you want to get the Guardians of the Galaxy Fashion Passion trophy or achievement, you need to go through the trouble of unlocking all suits.
Drax: Five Horsemen of The Apocalypse Costume
After reaching at the location as shown in the image, ask Groot to help you out in making a passage. Then, walk past it and go to your right. You will come across a frozen door. Use your guns to melt the entrance and then do a little bit of platforming to reach the outfit’s collectible location.
Gamora: Chosen Daughter Costume
To find the next outfit, melt the frozen entrance as pointed out in the image and collect the Gamora’s Chosen Daughter suit behind two boxes.
Guardians of Galaxy Chapter 16 Outfits
You do not need to find the remaining costumes’ by going at locations, they unlock automatically.
Remaining Costumes Unlock Method
All the remaining costumes do not require any exploration whatsoever. You will get them as your progress the story in the game. Here is a list of outfits that unlock naturally after completing the Chapter 16 of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy.
