Atomic Heart PC Release Info
With its vast distribution along the console lineup, Atomic Heart will also be coming to your PC on February 21, 2023. The only retailers that will be selling this on PC are Steam and the Microsoft Store. If you head on over to Atomic Heart’s website, you’ll have the option to select the region and retailer you want to purchase from.
The game is currently available for pre-order on both Steam and the Windows Store. There are currently 3 available pre-order versions of Atomic Heart available for purchase – the Standard Edition for $44.99, the Gold Edition for $64.99, and the Premium Edition for $79.99. System Requirements For PC
Both Steam and the Microsoft Store have updated their store pages regarding Atomic Heart’s minimum and recommended system requirements. If you head on over to the Steam store page for the game, you’ll find this list at the bottom of the page.
Along with this, Mundfish has also published a much more detailed version of these requirements all the way from 1080p Low settings at 30FPS to 4K Ultra settings at 60FPS. And fortunately, these requirements suggest that the game will be fairly optimized, considering the modest demands.
Atomic Heart On Other Platforms
Along with the PC release, Atomic Heart will also be coming to both current-gen and last-gen consoles, including the Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. The game launches on these platforms on day one and is also available for pre-order on their respective digital stores but with slightly higher price tags than their PC counterparts. These prices include the following:
- $69.99 for the Standard Edition
- $99.99 for the Gold Edition
- $104.99 for the Premium Edition
As such, if you have a PC and like playing your FPS games on a keyboard and mouse, then the PC versions of Atomic Heart feel like a better deal. If you’re on Xbox, however, you also have the option to get Atomic Heart on Xbox Game Pass. The game will be available on the base Game Pass as well as Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Game Pass PC on launch day, February 21, 2023.
That wraps up our brief article on Atomic Heart’s PC release info thus far. With promising graphics and gameplay, Atomic Heart is already one of the most awaited games of 2023. It’s even backed up by Mick Gordon as the lead composer, who’s praised by the community for working on another fan-favorite FPS title, DOOM Eternal.
With the modest system requirements for the game, you can likely run it on any mid to high-end PCs. You’ll be able to jump right into the sci-fi experience without any delay on day one. And with the cheaper prices on Steam and the Microsoft Store, it’s an even sweeter bargain for PC users!
