After being announced in early October 2021, Wanted: Dead is finally set to release on February 14, 2023. - As of now, you can add Wanted: Dead to your wishlist on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the PlayStation Store.
- Furthermore, you can currently pre-order the base game on Xbox.
- There’s also a Collector’s Edition of Wanted: Dead available exclusively on consoles that you can buy for extra goodies.
Wanted: Dead Coming To PC
With a wide array of console releases, Wanted: Dead is also making its way to PC, being available on both Steam and the Epic Games store. However, you cannot pre-order the game on PC for the time being. You can only add it to your Wishlist, so you’re notified when it either releases or goes on sale.

We also don’t have a confirmation on the exact pricing of Wanted: Dead on PC. So far, you can only pre-order the game on Xbox consoles, where it’s being sold for $59.99. As such, we can expect Wanted: Dead to be around that price point on PC as well.
System Requirements For Wanted: Dead
Fortunately, both Steam and the Epic Games store have recently updated their respective store pages with the minimum and recommended system requirements for running Wanted: Dead. Heading onto the game’s Steam Store Page, the requirements are listed as follows:
Minimum Requirements | Recommended Requirements | |
OS | Windows 10/11 (64-bit) | Windows 10/11 (64-bit) |
Processor | Intel i5 2500K @ 3.30 GHz | Intel i7 2700 @ 3.50 GHz |
Memory | 8 GB | 8 GB |
Graphics | NVIDIA GTX 1060 | NVIDIA RTX 2060 |
DirectX | Version 11 | Version 12 |
Storage | 50 GB | 50GB |
Additional Notes | DirectX feature level 11_1 is required | DirectX feature level 11_1 is required |
Although the system requirements don’t enlist any hardware by AMD, the developers haven’t mentioned any incompatibilities with their options. So it’s safe to assume that you can also run Wanted: Dead on AMD processors and GPUs with performance similar to their Intel and NVIDIA counterparts.

It’s also worth noting that you should preferably have the game installed on an SSD as it can drastically help quicken in-game load times as compared to an HDD. Overall, as far as modern releases go, these system requirements are generally quite modest. Therefore, you can likely run the game on most mid-range specifications.
Wanted: Dead On Other Platforms
Wanted: Dead is coming to the entire current-gen and old-gen console lineup, including the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4/Pro, and the PlayStation 5. Just like the PC, you can only add Wanted: Dead to your wishlist if you’re on PlayStation as of now. Pre-ordering the game is only available on Xbox One and Series consoles at the moment for $59.99.

You can also pay up to $79.99 for the special Collector’s Edition on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox and receive the following bonuses:
- A 116-page Hardcover Design Works Artbook
- A Steelbook Cover of the game
- The Official Wanted: Dead Soundtrack CD
- 3 Wanted: Dead Postcards
- A Zombie Unit Magnet
- The Collector’s Box features an updated Wanted: Dead Box Art with all the exclusive content and the physical game

Conclusion
That wraps up our brief guide on the PC and other releases of Wanted: Dead. With numerous critically acclaimed game series such as Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden under their belt, Soleil Ltd. has certainly shown that they can create extraordinary experiences. And so far, Wanted: Dead is being appraised by its excited fans on social media.
The developers have taken the additional time they needed to polish the game, delaying the project by a whole year from its initial planned release in 2022. And with no further delays and decent optimization in sight, you’ll be able to easily run the game at a smooth and consistent framerate across most high-end and mid-end PCs on February 14, 2023.
