How To Unlock Boba Fett In Lego Star Wars the Skywalker Saga
The character made his first appearance in Star Wars: Episode V, The Empire Strikes Back. Since this appearance, the character has been well received by fans and critics alike and has appeared in a series of movies and animated shows.
Boba Fett reached peak popularity in 2021 when he was eventually given his show on Disney+. This is also the reason why he was included as an unlockable character in The Skywalker Saga. However, to unlock him in the game, you have to complete a series of prerequisites and other missions.
Prerequisites Conditions to Unlock Boba Fett
The Skywalker Saga gives players the choice of playing the trilogies in any order they want. You can either start with the original trilogy (Starting from A New Hope), the prequel trilogy (Starting from The Phantom Menace), or the sequel trilogy (Starting from The Force Awakens). But, to unlock Lego Star Wars the Skywalker Saga Boba Fett, you will have to start from the original trilogy.
You will have to complete Episode IV: A New Hope and Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. Once you are finished with these two chapters, you will unlock Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. Here is where you will get the chance the unlock Boba Fett.
Completing Copa-Khetanna Mission To Unlock Boba Fett
Once you get to Episode VI, you will have to complete the mission Copa-Khetanna to unlock him. This is the second mission in The Return of the Jedi episode, and it requires you to complete a series of tasks and boss fights.
Starting at The Great Pit of Carkoon
To start the Copa-Khetanna mission, you have to go to The Great Pit of Carkoon. Here, you will be able to start the mission.
Once you start the mission, a cutscene will be played that will ultimately put you in a fight against Boba Fett.
Boba Fett Boss Fight
The boss fight itself can be approached in different ways. However, the best strategy is to maintain your distance and shoot at Boba Fett from a safe distance.
The boss fight will be split into two phases. In the first phase, he will mostly remain on the ground, and it will be easy to target him. The second phase will be a lot more difficult. In this second phase, he will fly away and is going to shoot projectiles at you. These projectiles can deal a considerable amount of damage, so it is best to take cover during the attacks.
It is also important to keep in mind that you will instantly die if you try to jump off the ****. So you must maintain a safe distance from the edge of the ship, so you don’t fall over. Once you defeat Boba Fett, a cutscene will start that will show Han Solo kick him off the ship.
The second part of the mission will require you to save R2-D2. He will be trapped on the upper level of the ship, so you will have to make your way to him.
You have to shift to Luke Skywalker and use the Force to arrange the blocks to get to R2-D2 after you have defeated the enemies on the lower level.
Making your way into Jabba’s Room
After you have rescued R2-D2, you will use him to gain access to Jabba’s Room.
Once you complete the puzzle, a lift will open that will take you to the Jabba the Hut boss fight.
Defeating Jabba the Hut
Contrary to the Lego Star Wars the Skywalker Saga Boba Fett fight, this one is a lot easier. Jabba doesn’t attack and has very low health, so that you can defeat him with simple melee attacks. However, Jabba the Hut has three lives, so you will have to take care of him three different times.
Once you have defeated Jabba, you will have to take care of all his reinforcements.
Killing all the reinforcements will trigger another fight with the Salacious Crumb. He is Jabba’s pet and can also be beaten using simple melee attack combos.
Defeating this creature will trigger the second Jabba fight, and you will have to defeat him and the Crumb again. All this will trigger the third and last Jaba the Hut fight. Killing him will trigger the final cutscene that will conclude the Cope-Khetanna level.
Unlocking Boba Fett
Once you have finished the Cope-Khetanna mission, you will be able to purchase Boba Fett from the character shop. He will be the 4th character in the Bounty Hunters lineup and can be purchased for 500,000 studs.
This can be a considerable sum, especially if you are just starting in the game. You would have to multiple stud multipliers and grind the game for hours before you can afford him.
Boba Fett is an extremely powerful bounty hunter that can be used to explore the game easily. Bounty Hunters are also capable of destroying the large gold bricks in the game. So, unlocking Boba Fett will also make the process of finding hidden treasures and collectibles a lot easier.
