Costumes in Ni No Kuni Crossworlds

The game has five distinct characters, which are treated as Characters Classes. You can choose your player to be one of the five classes, after which you start the game. For more information on these classes and how to reroll, kindly refer to our Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds: How To Reroll & Classes guide.
Each Character Class has 34 unique costumes, and that’s without the various hairstyles, hats, masks, and makeup options. Costumes in Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds change the character’s appearance regardless of the equipped armor. You unlock more costumes as you progress further into the story.
With that in mind, we’ll only cover the Costumes in Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds. If you want a dedicated guide on the additional items, let us know in the comments below, and we’ll see to it.
The Costume Sets currently available in Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds can be unlocked via the game’s Gacha. Some of the Costume Sets in the game are craftable, and some are randomly dropped by completing quests, achievements, and other such activities.
Japanese Release VS Global Release
One of the biggest differences between the Japanese and Global releases of Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds is the addition of NFT into the Global Release. This changes how accessories and cosmetic items are handled in the Global Version of Ni No Kuni.
The Japanese release has 34 Costume Sets, and each set was initially tied to a Special Event. Later, the Costume Sets in Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds were made craftable for everyone.
The Global Release of Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds is treating the costume sets differently. Costume Sets from the Japanese Release are being rolled out on a monthly basis, usually tied to the ongoing events. Once the specific event is over, the Costume Set is then available for seven more days.
You can unlock the Costume Set within this time period by grinding Territe, the cryptocurrency tied to the game. You can read all about Territe Farming and Exchanging in our Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds Territe: How to Farm & Exchange guide.
