Before we jump into the battle itself, let us briefly run over how and where you can find Adio in the final sections of the game.

To find Adio in the final sections of the game:

  1. Chapter 9: “What Those Hands Can Grasp”: The final boss fight against Adio takes place in Chapter 9 as part of the main plot, making it an unmissable encounter.
  2. Sky Tower Fight: After the fight in The Sky Tower during Chapter 9, a cutscene will reveal Adio’s true intentions and his control over the Divine Breath. This event sets the stage for the final showdown.
  3. Lim’s Fate: Adio fatally shoots Lim during the cutscene, shocking the Straw Hat Pirates. Adio then escapes toward South Beach.
  4. Go to South Beach: Head to South Beach in Waford Central to confront Adio and Divine Breath. Take this opportunity to save your game and prepare your characters. It is advisable to have each Straw Hat member at least Level 45 or above for this challenging final boss fight.

  • Face Adio and two Thunder Storms.
  • Adio uses Thunder Storms to buff himself and resist attacks.
  • Be cautious of Adio’s high-damage moves like Tempesta.
  • Have level 45+ Pirates with strong accessories.
  • Focus on taking out Thunder Storms early to prevent status damage.
  • Use Technique players (e.g., Brook, Robin, Zoro) for an aggressive strategy.
  • Keep Support characters (e.g., Tony Tony) in the back to provide buffs and healing.

Second Phase

  • After defeating Adio, the Divine Breath gains a Wall of Wind.
  • Two new Thunder Storms join the battle with the same attack.
  • Prioritize Technique characters and include a support pirate for healing.
  • Many players target the Thunder Storms first to make it easier to damage Divine Breath.
  • Utilize Luffy’s “The Conquerer’s Haki” if available.
  • When Divine Breath’s health drops below 50%, it falls to the ground and remains paralyzed for two rounds.
  • Use powerful attacks during this time to deal maximum damage.
  • Divine Breath will rise again with a weaker Wall of Wind; repeat the process.
  • Continue weakening Divine Breath with each cycle until you defeat it.

After the final boss fight, a cutscene shows Divine Breath’s defeat and a final battle between Luffy and Adio, which unfolds during the cutscene without player input.

This strategy should help you navigate the challenging final battle in One Piece Odyssey.

  • Tempesta: Adio fires multiple bullets that bounce around the field, hitting multiple Straw Hats to inflict damage.
  • Whirling Storm Blade: Divine Breath summons a Thunder Storm on the battlefield. Adio can also use this move, known as “Thunder Vortex.”
