Outriders is a recently released Action Role-Playing game developed by the studio People Can Fly and published by Square Enix Europe. It is only natural that a looter shooter like Outriders will consist of numerous armors to choose from. Outriders is a third-person online-only cooperative game featuring four unique classes such as Technomancer, Pyromancer, Trickster, and the Devastator. What is Seismic Commander Set in Outriders

The Seismic Commander Set is one of the rarest armor sets in Outriders. It is a legendary armor set consisting of 5 armor pieces. Each piece offers unique stats and advantages, such as increasing the max health, reducing cooldown, and increasing damage output.

While it is perfectly fine to get creative with your looks and wear armor pieces from different sets, players are encouraged to wear armor pieces from the same set. It is because players receive a special buff when they equip three or more pieces from the same set. 

If players equip 3 armor pieces from the Seismic Commander Set, then it increases their damage toward enemies inflicted with the bleed status by 150%. 

Seismic Commander Armor Set Pieces 

The Seismic Commander Set has 5 pieces in total, and each piece has 2 Armor Mods. Tier 1 Armor Mods can be replaced, while Tier 3 Armor Mods can not be replaced. Every armor piece of the Seismic Commander Set has its own unique set of mods.

Helmet

The Mod 1 of the Seismic Commander’s Helmet is the Ultimate Impaler. It is a Tier 3 Armor Mod. The skill affected by the Armor Mod is the Impale Skill which is exclusive to the Devastator Class. This skill can be activated two times before it requires a cooldown.

The Mod 2 is the Blood Shock. It is a Tier 1 Armor Mod. The skill affected by the Armor Mod is the Earthquake skill which is also exclusive to the Devastator class. The skill inflicts the Bleed status on enemies.

Body Armor

The Mod 1 of the Seismic Commander’s Armor is the Palisade. The Palisade is a Tier 3 Armor Mod. The skill affected by this Armor Mod is, again, the Impale Skill, and it allows the player to strike 2 additional enemies.

The Mod 2 is the Earth’s Legacy. It is a Tier 1 Armor Set, and the skill affected by the Armor Mod is the Earthquake skill, as it increases the skill’s range by 60%.

Leg Armor

The Mod 1 of the Seismic Commander’s Leg Armor is the Tainted Blood. It is a Tier 3 Armor Mod. The Tainted Blood mod increases the damage dealt to enemies inflicted with the Bleed status by 25%.

The Mod 2 is the Rivers Of Blood. It is a Tier 1 Armor Mod which affects the Impale skill. The Rivers Of Blood Armor Mod increases the skill damage by 50% to the enemies inflicted with the Bleed status.

Gloves

The Mod 1 of the Seismic Commander’s Gloves is the Asunder. It is a Tier 3 Armor Mod. The skill affected by the Asunder Armor Mod is the Earthquake skill. The Asunder Armor Mod permanently reduces the armor of enemies inflicted with this skill by 20%.

The Mod 2 is the Ground Crush. It is a Tier 1 Mod, and the skill affected by the Armor Mod is, again, the Earthquake Skill. The Ground Crush Mod increases the skill’s base damage.

Footgear

The Mod 1 of the Seismic Commander’s Footgear is the Second Quake. It is a Tier 3 Armor Mod, and the skill affected by this Armor Mod is the Earthquake Skill. It can be activated 1 time before it requires a cooldown.

The Mod 2 is the Sharpened Spike. It is a Tier 1 Mod, and the skill affected by the mod is the Impale skill. It increases the total damage of the base skill.

What Are Armor Mods in Outriders

Armor Mods is a category of mods in Outriders. Armor Mods work like your typical mods. They are used to alter or boost the overall stats of your armors, whether it be increasing your defense or adding new buffs. 

Armor Mods are obtained by dismantling different pieces of armor. Different armors drop different Armor Mods. Rare armors usually have a tier 1 Armor Mod, while Epic armors have Tier 1 and Tier 2 mods. 

And finally, Tier 3 mods are obtained from Legendary Armor Sets. Legendary armor Sets may also drop Tier 2 Armor Mods.

How To Obtain Seismic Commander Set in Outriders

Being a legendary armor, obtaining the Seismic Commander Set is anything but easy. The drops of the Seismic Commander Armor pieces are so random that some players just go on a killing spree in the drop zone and hope for the best.

Luckily, there is a certain way that can drastically increase your chances of obtaining the Seismic Commander Set; however, players will need to complete the main story first before they can perform this method.

After completing the main story, players will unlock expeditions. Expeditions reward the players with equipment and Drop Pod resources. 

Drop Pods are used to purchase Legendary items from Tiago. Wares in Tiago Shop resets every 1.5 hours, so players only need to visit his shop once every cycle and purchase the Seismic Commander Set pieces from Tiago when available.
