Pokemon Go Fest to Start on 25th July- Here’s a complete guide of Pokemon Go July events

Pokemon Go became the most played game on smartphones as soon as it came out four years ago. The gameplay based on augmented reality (AR) and fun little events are only a few things that defined the game. However, the main reason behind the massive success of the game was the fact that how it gave life to all those Pokemons that everyone in their childhood wished were real. At the earlier stages, the game did show concerns regarding security as people (especially kids) were seen playing it on the main streets/roads. However, after a few restrictions and patches, it became safer and more accessible to the masses.

Pokemon Go

The game still holds up even after four years, thanks to the regular events and updates from the developer Niantic, Inc. With the fourth anniversary of the game around the corner, the Pokemon Go Fest 2020, has officially started. It has a plethora of new events, pokemon, raids, and XP bonuses. So, without further ado, let’s get into the July events and see how you can take your pokemon to the next level (literally).

Events

There will be a total of 5 events in July. Each of these will offer a different set of objectives, challenges, and rewards for participation and completion. Moreover, some of these events span the whole month while some are only time-limited.

The July Research encounter challenge has already started. These challenges will be available for the whole month. Completing these challenges will grant players a chance to encounter the pseudo-legendary pokemon Larvitar or its shiny form. Apart from this, there are many other rewards specific to the challenges and objectives.

Kyurem Raid

On the 7th of July, Kyurem raid (legendary Dragon/ice type pokemon) will commence. It will allow players to have battles with each other for rewards and bonuses, while the main prize of the raid is the legendary pokemon itself. Furthermore, the raid events will take place every Wednesday at 6 pm.
