Pokemon Scarlet And Violet have been released with like 400 different pokemon, and the starters are a special one of a kind, with their evolutions, and our Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Starter Evolutions guide will uncover the starters and how they evolve, both in their normal as well as their shiny forms!
Now, one of the first pokemon that we will see will be Sprigatito, and when it is in its normal form, it will have dark green ears, with lighter pastel green inner ears. Alongside that, the sprigatito will also have darker green accents around its eyes and also its collar. The rest of the body will be pastel-cream green. Lastly, it will have deep pink eyes and a cute pink button nose.
As for the shinier version of Sprigaito, the dark green accent that was previously muted on the normal form will be a bit on the brighter end on the shinier version, and the main defining feature that sets it apart from the normal form will be the pastel purple eyes that look adorable.
The first evolution for sprigatito will be that it converts to Floragato, and once again it will have a normal and shinier version. The normal version will have dark, light, and green accents all over itself, and the defining feature will be its deep pink eyes and embellishment on its shoulder.
The main difference on the shinier version will be that the embellishment and the eyes will be purple instead of pink.
The final evolution form will be meowscarada, and the normal version will have pink eyes and a pink collar with four-pointed ends. The inner part of its hands will also be pink, as for the shinier version, the eyes, collars, and inside of the hands will be purple instead of pink.
Now, when it comes to Fuecoco, he is also known to be a starter pokemon, and fuecoco itself is represented by a white face, three-pointed teeth, as well as a red body. Apart from that, there is a yellow square patch on its belly, alongside there also being black toes. The normal version is going to have a red body.
Now, when it comes to the shinier version, everything else will be the same, meaning the square yellow patch, the face, the toes, etc except for the fact that the body will be baby-pink instead of red.
When fuecoco evolves for the first time, it turns into Crocalor and will have a yellow stripe running down its belly, while it will have red arms, red legs, and red patches on its face as well. It will also have orange and golden diamonds on its head which will be extremely bright.
As for the shinier version, the orange will be a lot more muted in color, while the red color will be switched to pink, meaning pink arms, pink legs, and pink patches on its faces.
As for the next evolution, your cracalor will end up evolving into a Skeledirge, and this time it looks like the fire-type croc that it is. With fire all over its face, and having red eyelids, red squares on its mouth, and red teeth, as well as red mecha accents all over its body, this makes it the normal version.
As for the shinier version, all the red accents are simply replaced by a very deep pink color.
Now, when it comes to Quaxly, its normal form will resemble that of a duck, and it will have a white body, with a yellow beak, blue eyes, and a muted blue head alongside muted blue feet.
Now, as for the shinier version, the beak and the white body will be the same. However, the blue that was darker in color on the normal version will be replaced by a softer, teal color that is also muted.
The first evolution will be that of your Quaxly converting and becoming a Quaxwell. The normal version will be presented by a medium-sized body, with a dark, deep blue head, and a teal color moving out from the middle of the nose. It will have dark blue hands, and dark blue accents on its yellow feet. And there will be a dark blue and teal part on its belly too.
As for the shinier version, the dark blue on its head, arms, belly, and feet will be replaced by a very muted teal color, while the deeper teal on its normal version will be replaced by dark blue.
For the final evolution, Quaquaval the entire body will be dark blue, as well as on top of the head, alongside having teal feathers splattered all over the body. There will also be orange stripes on its head that will be pretty dark in color, while the feathers will be teal.
For the shinier version, the dark blue will be replaced by a pastel purple color, while the deeper teal will be replaced by a muted teal version in the shinier version. The deep orange will be replaced by a lighter, more muted orange.
The fourth starter pokemon will be known as Charmander, it will look pretty adorable, its body will be colored a muted beige, and it will have green eyes while having two tiny pointed teeth in its mouth, and fire on its tail.
As for the shinier version, the green eyes will be replaced by dark blue eyes, while the beige color on the body will be replaced by a lemony yellow color.
Whenever Charmander converts into a charmeleon, its entire body will be brown, except for the front of its belly which will be off-white. It will have the same fiery tail, while it will also have white claws.
As for the shinier version, the brown color will be replaced by a yellow color, but the front of the belly will remain the same, and so will the claws as well as the fiery tail.
The final evolution will make the charmeleon into a Charizard, and the entire body will be a muted orange color, spanning to the outside of the wings as well. As for the inside of the wings, they will be colored a muted blue.
When it comes to the shinier version, the orange will be replaced by the Charizard having a dark-grey body, the blue inside of the wings will be replaced by a deep-maroon color, and the eyes will be deeper as well. The claws remain the same though.
The next starter will be Cyndaquil, and its normal version will have a green color going from its head and starting from its nose and going all the way to the back while the shinier version will be brown instead of green.
As for the evolved version, the Quilava which will be the normal one will have red eyes, and it will have the same green color going down its back, and the inside of the ears will also be colored red. As for the shinier version, the only difference will be that the green/teal will be converted to brown while everything else remains the same.
With the final evolution, Typhlosion will have dark blue going down from the front of his nose, then going all the way down its back and its ears will also be dark blue, while the shinier version will replace the blue color with brown.
Moving onto the next pokemon, we have the Oshawott, which basically will have a teal belly, a yellow sea-shell-shaped embellishment in the middle of its stomach, a deep-yellow button nose, and blue ears and toes. As for the shinier version, the teal will be replaced by pastel blue, the yellow nose with pink, and the blue ears and toes with green.
For the first evolution, the normal version of Dewott will have a light blue body, and a darker blue “skirt”, with cream-colored seashells on both ends of its “skirt”. As for the shinier version, the dark blue will be replaced by purple, the seashells will be colored extremely light pink, and the body color will be green.
For the normal version of the Samurott, it will have a deep blue body, with four cream-colored attachments on each of its legs, alongside having the same cream-colored horn on top of its head. For the shinier version, the cream color will be replaced by light pink, and the body color will be an even deeper and darker blue.
Next up, we have chespin, and for its normal version, it will resemble a small plant with light green ears and a hat on top of its head, while it’s nose will be colored orange, and the body will be dark and light brown. With the shinier version, the light green will be replaced by a light maroon color, and the nose will now be colored yellow.
As for the Quilladin, the normal version will have a light green outer covering, and will have light pink pointed ears, with the same colored nose. As for the shinier version, the light pink will be replaced by yellow, and the light green color will end up being replaced by a deeper maroon color.
It’s final evolution, the normal version of Chesnaught will have a creamy-yellow shell with sharp points, while there will be a lighter green part on the shell as well, and there wll be a red lining on the shell too. The legs will be the same color as the shell, while the arms will be white, and the nose will be pink.
As for the shiny version, the cream color is replaced by a muted green, and the legs will be the same muted green color. The bottom part of the shell will be a deep maroon instead of light green, and the nose will be orange, and so will the lining on the shell.
Moving on, the next pokemon is Fennekin, who will resemble a small fox, and will have orange eyes, and yellow fur and inner ears will be colored orange. As for the shinier version, the inner ears will be red, and so will the eyes, and the fur will be a light grey color.
For the evolution, Briaxen appears, and for its normal version, the fur is a bright yellow, so is the tail, and the inner ears are orange. For the shinier version, the fur is purple, while the inner ears are a pink color, and so is the tip of the tail, and the outer ears are purple as well.
Delphox in its normal form will have brown-colored flowing fur, with brown arms. The inner ears will be light orange, and the top fur will be yellow and so will the ears. For the shinier version, the bottom fur and arms will be purple, with the inner ears being a pink color and the top fur will be a light grey.
As for the ninth starter pokemon, we have Froakie, who will have a deeper blue color, while the shinier version will have the deeper blue color replaced by a whiter color.
As for Frogadier, the body will be light blue, while the hands will be a dark color, and the area around the eyes will be dark blue as well. When it comes to the shinier version, the hands will be a blue-black color, the color around the eyes will be a grey color, and the body will be a white-blue color.
For the final evolution, Greninja’s normal version will have a dark blue body, and a cream-colored abdomen, alongside having a light pink scarf, while the shinier version will have the dark blue replaced by black, the cream with grey, and the scarf will be red.
Last but not least, we have rowlet, which has a beige head, a leafy-green bowtie, and with orange toes, and a darker orange nose, while its shinier version has a teal bowtie, darker orange toes, a red nose, and a matcha-green head.
As for the first evolution, the normal version will have a light green bowtie and inner color on the head, while the red of the top half will be a dark brown, and the claws will be a light orange, while the shinier version will replace the dark brown with a darker green and the lighter green will replace it with a mint color, alongside the legs being a red-orange.
Lastly, the final evolution will be Decidueye, and the top of its head will be a deep green, while its coat will be a light brown with orange eyes. As for the shinier version, the orange is replaced by red, the top of the head is blue, and the coat is a deep grey/black.
