The first Titan pokemon you will encounter during your playthrough is “Klawf“. It is also known as the Stony Cliff Titan, which can be found in the South Province Area 3. Klawf can be seen hanging at the side of the cliff, and its size is much larger than a regular Klawf in the Paldea region.

  • Water, Fighting, Grass, Ground, and Steel-type Pokémon are super effective.
  • Sprigatito or Quaxly, as your Starter Pokémon, gives you an edge.

Bombirdier The Open Sky Titan

The next Pokemon you face, as per the Titan order, in Pokemon Scarlet And Violet is the Bombirdier. You can find the Open Sky Titan in Area One of West Province. In order to reach it, you will need to scale a mountain with boulders rolling down through the track. Once you reach the top, you will see Bombirdier flying down from the sky.

Battle Strategy

  • The Bombirdier’s limited weaknesses: Electric, Ice, Rock, or Fairy-type Pokémon.
  • After the initial battle, a cutscene triggers with the Open Sky Titan.
  • The Titan enhances its power by consuming Herba Mystica.
  • Arven intervenes for the second battle, using a Level 19 Nacli.
  • Suggests defeating Bombirdier independently.
  • Post-victory, you can explore the cave with Arven to find the next Herba Mystica.

Orthworm The Lurking Steel Titan

As per the correct order, the next Titan pokemon in line is the Orthworm in Pokemon Scarlet And Violet. It is also known as the Lurking Steel Titan and can be found in the Deserts of East Province Area 3 in the Paldea Region. You will be able to find the Orthworm by going through one of the caves in the Desert. 

Battle Strategy

  • Steel, Fire, Water, and Electric-type Pokémon are effective against Orthworm.
  • Orthworm is immune to Ground-type moves due to its “Earth Eater” ability.

The Quaking Earth Titan

The Quaking Earth Titan is the fourth Titan pokemon in Pokemon Scarlet And Violet. However, the pokemon itself will vary according to the version of the game you’re playing. If you’re playing Pokemon Scarlet, then you will face Great Tusk (Level 45). Whereas, if you’re playing Pokemon Violet, then you will battle it out against the Iron Treads (Level 45).

You can find the Quaking Earth Titans in the Asado Desert. Both Titan variants will be seen rolling around the sand. With that said, let’s now dive into a bit more detail.

Battle Strategy

  • The Great Tusk is weak against Flying, Grass, Water, Fairy, and Psychic-type Pokemon.
  • Iron Treads is weak against Water, Fire, Ground, and Fighting-type Pokemon.
  • Approach Great Tusk and Iron Treads to initiate the battle.
  • Be cautious as their attacks are highly damaging.
  • After the first part of the battle, the Titan will move aside.
  • Arven will assist you in the next part of the battle with Scovillain (Level 44).

  • Victory against Great Tusk/Iron Treads earns you a Titan Badge and the Sour Herba Mystica.
  • Arven prepares a sandwich using the rare ingredient.
  • Sharing the sandwich with Miraidon/Koraidon grants the ability to Glide in the air.

The False Dragon Titan

The False Dragon Titan is the final titan boss in Pokemon Scarlet And Violet. However, for this titan battle, you will face Dondozo and Tatsugiri, respectively, to claim the Titan badge and the Herba Mystica. You can find the False Dragon Titan in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet at Casseroya Lake on a lone island. The Island will be filled with a lot of Tatsugiri pokemon.

Dondozo is a Water-type pokemon, hence named the False Dragon Titan. On the other hand, Tatsugiri is a Water/Dragon-type pokemon

Battle Strategy

  • Battle Dondozo, a Water-type Titan; use Grass or Electric-type Pokémon.
  • After defeating Dondozo, encounter Tatsugiri in the lake.
  • Dondozo reappears, eats Herba Mystica, and Arven joins you for the battle.
  • Arven uses a Level 55 Greedent.
  • Face Tatsugiri, a Water/Dragon type, with Dragon and Fairy-type moves.

Reward

  • Beat Dondozo and Tatsugiri for the final Titan Badge.
  • Arven cooks a sandwich with the Spicy Herba Mystica.
  • Feed the sandwich to your mount for the ability to climb vertical surfaces in Paldea.

Final Battle Against Arven

After defeating all the Titan Pokemon, you will be able to face Arven in a Pokemon battle. Right after you bring down Dondozo and Tatsugiri, you can make your way to the Poco Path Lighthouse. Arven will be waiting for you outside the Lighthouse with Mabosstiff.

Here is the team Arven uses during the final battle after taking down all the Titans in the correct order in Pokemon Scarlet And Violet.

  • Greedent – Level 58  (Normal Type)
  • Cloyster – Level 59  (Water/Ice Type)
  • Scovillain – Level 60  (Grass/Fire Type)
