Charcadet can be found during different times of the day, including morning, noon, evening, and night. While it can spawn in various locations, the most common places to find Charcadet are South Province Area 3, East Province Area 3, and South Province Area 2.
If you want to find Charcadet early in the game, head to the West Province Area 1 location in the north of Cortondo in Pokémon Violet. Follow the main path in Cortondo from the northwest, and use your minimap to locate the red and black icon that will guide you to Charcadet.
How To Evolve Charcadet
As we mentioned before Charcadet will evolve into two different forms depending on what version of the game you are playing.
Unlike the other Pokémon which require leveling up in order to evolve them, you simply need to find two types of armor to evolve Charcadet in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Then you just need to give it to the Pokémon and it will evolve into its next form.
How To Evolve Charcadet Into Armarouge
To evolve Charcadet into Armarouge in Pokémon Scarlet:
- Obtain the “Auspicious Armor” item.
- Battle and collect at least 10 Bronzor fragments.
- Use the auto-battle feature to quickly gather fragments.
- Look for Bronzors in the Asado Desert and other locations, such as West province area 2, West province area one, South province area 5, South province area 4, South province area 3, South province area 2, and East province area 2.
- Evolving Process:
- Once you have 10 Bronzor fragments, head to the town of Zapapico.
- Go to the eastern Pokémon Center.
- Proceed to the west side of the town.
- Interact with an NPC near a water fountain.
- They will offer to trade the “Spacious Armor” item for your 10 Bronzor fragments.
- Give the Spacious Armor item to Charcadet.
- Charcadet will evolve into Armarouge.
How To Evolve Charcadet Into Ceruledge
If you have one of the players playing Pokémon Violet, then there is a different process of involving Charcadet in Ceruledge in the game.
- Collect Sinistea Chips:
- Obtain approximately 10 Sinistea chips.
- You can find Sinistea in the South province area 6, near the town of Alfornada, where the fairy-type gym is located.
- Defeat at least 10 Sinistea Pokémon to gather 10 Sinistea chips.
- Utilize the auto-battle feature for efficient chip farming.
- Note that you can access Alfornada later in the game when wild Pokémon here are around level 50.
- Evolving Process:
- Head to the town of Zapapico.
- Locate a small water fountain with an NPC in front of it.
- Speak to the NPC to trade your 10 Sinistea chips for the “Malicious Armor.”
- Access your bag’s “Other Item” section.
- Select the armor item and choose “Use This Item.”
- Select Charcadet in your party and give it the armor to trigger its evolution into Ceruledge.
How To Get Charcadet In The Opposite Version Of The Game
In case you are one of the players that want to get the other version of Charcadet and the version they are playing, there are some methods to do so. The first method involves trading with a friend to get the evolved form of Charcadet the version of the game that you don’t have.
You can also tell your friend to pick up the item that you are lacking and hand them over by trading in a Pokémon that is holding the item. Keep in mind that you cannot play co-op if your friend is playing the other version of the game.
