How To Get Heart Module

First up, you should understand what the Heart Module exactly does in the game. As we mentioned earlier, once you progress through the game you will start facing hostile slimes (such as Tarr Slime and Feral Slime). The Lab will be right next to the Marketplace. If you notice a staircase leading underground then you’re in the right spot. Follow the steps to reach the Lab which is exactly below the Conservatory. After following the steps downstairs, you will end up in a confined lab, where you will notice two machines in front of you; a Fabricator and a Refinery.

Access The Fabricator

To make things easier for you, the machine on the left is the Fabricator. You can use the fabricator to craft the upgrades we mentioned earlier. Whereas, the refinery is where you will deposit the relevant items you need for crafting.

First things first access the Fabricator by pressing ‘X’ on your controller. The menu will straightaway bring you to the ‘Upgrades‘ section where you will notice all 9 upgrades we mentioned earlier. However, your focus will only be on the second icon which is the ‘Heart Module‘. 

Once you hover over the icon of Heart Module, the game will display its description along with the items you need to craft the upgrade. To make things easier for you, we have listed down the Required Items to increase your health in Slime Rancher 2.

They literally spawn across the map except for some places like the Conservatory, Nimble Valley, and The Wilds. Apart from that, you can practically find them everywhere. Hence, getting your hands on some Pink Plorts won’t be an issue. 

Whenever you spot a bunch of Pink Slimes wait for a while and let them graze around the area. Once they are fed, they will produce Pink Plorts which can then be sucked in by your Vacpack. Make sure you get more than 10 Pink Plorts since you will sell the excess off at the Plort Market to earn Newbucks. 

Once you have accumulated an ample supply of Pink Plorts, head back to the conservatory and sell them off. However, keep 10 saved in your inventory as you will need it later for the Heart Module upgrade. The Plort Market will buy the Pink Plorts at varying rates. These rates can change each day or whenever you sell off a huge quantity of one item. 

Therefore, make sure that you recheck the selling rate every now and then. By keeping all of these things in mind you will reach the 450 Newbucks mark in no time.

Craft The Upgrade

Once you have 450 Newbucks in your pocket and 10 Pink Plorts in your inventory, it will be time to head back to the laboratory. This time around go for the Refinery machine first, and deposit the 10 Pink Plorts by shooting them out of your Vacpack into the Refinery. 

Once you’re done with that, access the Fabricator and select the ‘Heart Module‘ upgrade. Press ‘A’ on your controller or ‘Spacebar’ on the keyboard to craft the upgrade. With enough Newbucks in hand, you will instantly craft the Heart Module upgrade and notice Beatrix LeBeau’s health bar increase. 

Can The Heart Module Get Upgraded?

One question yet remains to be answered and that is, can you further upgrade the Heart Module? As of right now, the Slime Rancher 2 Early Access shows no sign of granting further upgrades on the health boost. However, with future updates for the game along with the full release, players can expect that some of these buffs will get the option to be upgraded to a higher level.
