Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle is a fighting game based on the popular Dragon Ball Z animated series. The Dragon Ball franchise has always been a giant name in the fighting games genre.

Furthermore, since the 90s and early 2000s, they have been producing games like the Dragon Ball Z Budokai series, Dragon Ball Budokai Tenkaichi series, Dragon Ball Raging Blast series, and many more. By many more, we mean seriously, there is no end to the number of games that the Dragon Ball franchise has produced.

Tier List Summary

S Plus-Tier

The Z-Tier of our Kamehameha tier list is a special tier reserved for only the greatest moves in all of Dragon Ball. These Kamehamehas reserve a special spot in every Dragon Ball fan’s heart. Additionally, they are also the very best in terms of Damage, Health, Linkset, and pretty much all other aspects. These cards are the epitome of what DBZ Dokkan Battle has to offer.

Moreover, unlike other tiers in this DB tier list, the Z-Tier only contains the top five cards. All five of these are of Legendary Rarity (LR).

Saiyan Warriors Super Saiyan Four Goku And Super Saiyan Four Vegeta (Ultimate Power)

This card is capable of doing devastating damage while also being a beefy tank. Additionally, it also stacks defense and can stun the enemy. Furthermore, the additional conditions for this card can easily be achieved as it is very easy to use in both forms.

It also receives additional Ki for each non-rainbow sphere. Finally, believe it to not, it also has the most amazing and useful Linkset in addition to all these other things.

Apex of Supreme Saiyan Power Super Saiyan Four Goku

The Apex of Supreme Saiyan Power Super Saiyan 4 Goku is the single greatest linking partner for the Super Saiyan Four Goku and Super Saiyan Four Vegeta. And just like Super Saiyan Four Goku & Super Saiyan Four Vegeta, it is also a devastatingly high damage dealer and a beefy tank.

Furthermore, these two cards together create one of the best combos in the whole game. Additionally, its active skill is fairly easy to accomplish.

Divine Warriors Gods Super Saiyan God Goku and Super Saiyan God Vegeta (Infinite Power)

Divine Warriors Gods Super Saiyan God Goku and Super Saiyan God Vegeta is very similar to “Saiyan Warriors Super Saiyan Four Goku & Super Saiyan Four Vegeta”. It possesses great tankiness and amazing damage at the same time.

Furthermore, the additional conditions for this card can easily be achieved as it is very easy to use in both forms. It also receives additional Ki for each non-rainbow sphere. Finally, it also has the most amazing and useful Linkset in addition to all these other things.

True Ultra Instinct Goku

True Ultra Instinct Goku possesses the amazing power to survive K.O attacks health to it. It is also a high-damage dealer while also being a healthy tank. Moreover, it has an excellent Linkset and an Active Skill that is simple and easily attained.

Ultimate Super Saiyan Super Saiyan Four Goku

This unit is very much similar to the “Apex of Supreme Saiyan Power Super Saiyan 4 Goku”. It is also one of the greatest linking partners for the Super Saiyan Four Goku and Super Saiyan Four Vegeta. And just like Super Saiyan Four Goku & Super Saiyan Four Vegeta, it is also a devastatingly high damage dealer and a beefy tank.

However, unlike Apex SS4 Goku, the active skill is not one of its plus points, bringing this unit to the bottom of the Z-tier.

S-Tier

The cards here in the S-Tier of our Kamehameha tier list are one of the best cards in Dokkan Battle. They are superior to all other cards (except the cards in Z-Tier) in every aspect. Moreover, these cards also possess many of the best Kamehameha in the game.

Although there is one major difference between the S-Tier cards and the Z-Tier cards, the difference is that the cards here in S-tier do have some downsides to them as well, unlike the cards up there. All of these aforementioned downsides have been stated along with their plus points throughout this DB tier list.

Super Saiyan God SS Goku (Kaioken) And Super Saiyan God SS Evolved Vegeta (Beyond Boundless Power)

The Super Saiyan God SS Goku (Kaioken) and Super Saiyan God SS Evolved Vegeta (Beyond Boundless Power) is a self-sustainable card that also proves to be a good burst option with their burst damage active skill. Moreover, it is a good tank and debuffer. Additionally, it has a great linking partner named “Super Saiyan God Goku and Super Saiyan God Vegeta.”

However, the burst active skill also debuffs the card’s defenses when used. Furthermore, Ki charges are needed to collect spheres at a good phase, and the possible Ki links available are not enough.

Universe-Shaking Strike Super Saiyan Goku And Super Saiyan Gohan (Youth)

This card is a reference to the highly revered Father-Son Kamehameha. If we were to make an anime Kamehameha tier list, this move would definitely be included at the top of that ranking of Kamehameha’s.

It has very high damage and excellent burst damage. Moreover, the Universe-Shaking Strike Super Saiyan Goku and Super Saiyan Gohan also have a great linkset while also being an astounding tanks. Furthermore, their activity is good at long events; however, it isn’t great at quick and short events.

Although, the card’s downsides include not being able to link Kamehameha despite being the leader and also a low defense before attacking.

Super Saiyan Goku (Strike of Full Anger)

Super Saiyan Goku (Strike of Full Anger) possesses the ability to link up to 6 Goku and Gohan (TEQ) and, overall, an amazing linkset. Additionally, it can do very big damage while also being greatly tanky. Moreover, this unit can stack defense indefinitely while also having devastating damage on both multipliers.

However, it is weak against Frieza’s enemies, and the active skill is not easy to use.

Best Peerless Super Power Super Saiyan Four Gogeta

Peerless Super Power Super Saiyan Four Gogeta is extremely good at linking with other Saiyans that have been fused. Additionally, He is very good at countering super attacks. As well as debuffing while also having amazing damage and tank stats.

Albeit, he has no “Saiyan Roar” link skill, and the attacks are not always effective. He is a hit-or-miss type unit.

Super Saiyan 2 Goku (Battle to Protect the Fate of the Universe)

Super Saiyan 2 Goku (Battle to Protect the Fate of the Universe) is astonishingly reliable at dealing damage, especially through his fast-based Active Skill. Moreover, he has a great linkset and the ability to stun while also being an excellent tank.

Although there is a downside to him as he makes it harder to link with him when midway through the battle, upon transformation, he switches to a new link skill called “Over in a flash”. Abandoning the “Prepared For Battle” link skill in the process.

Fused Hope Goku & Vegeta (Angel)

This unit has simple and easily accomplishable conditions for transformation. Moreover, “Fused Hope Goku and Vegeta (Angel)” has an amazing linkset while also having the excellent ability to predict super enemy attacks. Furthermore,  he is also a good tank and great heavy-hitter.

However, he loses his ability to reduce enemy damage when he fuses, which can sometimes prove to be a problem.

Super Saiyan God SS Goku (Final Super Power) (Kaioken)

Final Super Power Super Saiyan God SS Goku is absolutely amazing at linking with Saiyans in their fusion forms. The active skill works very well with Super Saiyan Blue Kaioken Goku and Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta (Evolved); it also helps accomplish the Ultra Instinct Goku’s condition for transforming.

Moreover, the Active Skill of this unit can become the strongest attack in the whole game if the required conditions are fulfilled. Furthermore, this version of Goku is a stacker unit with great damage and tankiness, and he keeps getting stronger and stronger throughout the battle.

The only downside is that there are some unique conditions to be fulfilled to be able to perform the active skill.

Warriors Entrusted with Earth’s Fate Super Saiyan Goku/Super Saiyan Gohan (Youth)

Warriors Entrusted with Earth’s Fate Super Saiyan Goku/Super Saiyan Gohan (Youth) is an amazing tank. And a great stunner with the most excellent linkset and damage. Additionally, it is a great stunner that can give a secondary boost to the passive of SS2 Gohan. Furthermore, due to a large number of enemy attacks, the permanent guard buff can be activated very easily.

Although there are a few downsides to the card. Including the fact Super Saiyan Goku’s reliance on getting extra boosts restricts his evasion by quite a bit. Moreover, the active skill “Hidden Potential Additional Super Attack” takes more than six turns to trigger through sheer luck finally.

Vegeta (Angel) and Fusion Reborn Goku (Angel)

This unit has an amazing linkset with high damage and easily attainable transformation conditions. Moreover, it is a great tank and can predict super attacks, which are pretty rare.

Albeit, this ability to predict super attacks, and also his Ki boost and damage reduction only lasts for less than six turns. Furthermore, when fused, the “Shocking Speed” link skill is no longer usable.

Strongest Super Saiyan Goku (GT)

Strongest Super Saiyan Goku (GT) has a great linkset and excellent burst potential. Additionally, he is an amazing Ki supporter and tank. However, his downsides include bad Active Skills. And the need for another GT character to be present in the team to get the defense buff.

A-Tier

The A-Tier of our Kamehameha tier list represents those units that are not the very best, but they are also far from being the worst or even bad. They are great in their own right, with many of the best moves and skills in-game. The cards in A-Tier may have lost to those up in S and Z tiers, but they should not be underestimated.

This tier of our DB tier list is a ranking of all Kamehameha units that are above average.

Father and Son’s Day Off Goku And Gohan (Kid)

Father and Son’s Day Off Goku & Gohan is an excellent unit with very serious damage potential. Moreover, he has an amazing linkset with a defense that can be stacked indefinitely. Additionally, he is a very good sealer. And also good at healing and debuffing.

Albeit, this card only gets the majority of its buffs when posing as a floating unit.

Ultra Instinct Goku (Sign Of A Turnaround)

Sign Of A Turnaround Ultra Instinct Goku has an amazing linkset along with many damage moves. Moreover, he is a great tank soaking up lots of damage.

However, a major flaw with this unit is the fact that he depends on in-game RNG chance for dodging, which in turn unleashes his full power. Furthermore, his dodge chance reduces by 20% after round 7, which makes it even harder to get stronger. To add insult to injury, the situational Disable Guard wastes his SA effect.

Ultimate and Invincible Fusion Vegito

Ultimate and Invincible Fusion Vegito possesses the most astonishing 12-Ki multiplier and can do wonders when linked with other fusion units. Additionally, he never has to struggle for Ki while also dealing insane amounts of damage and being tankier than most. Furthermore, his transformation conditions are easy and simple to complete easily, making him even stronger.

Although, he does have a lot of downsides, one being that he does not even unlock his Kamehameha before the transformation. Moreover, he takes a lot of time to get going, and active skill is unattainable in many scenarios.

Transdimensional Instinct Goku

This unit has an amazing linkset that makes an excellent combo with other Saiyans that are fused. Moreover, he can stack his heavy damage attack and defense indefinitely.

Additionally, he has an excellent ability that grants him the ability to dodge every attack for the first round when he “Awakens”. And afterward grants him a 70% dodge chance. Furthermore, the Awakening ability does not dampen his Super Attacks or anything else.

Albeit he does have to lose half of his health before he can unlock the Awakened form, he also loses some defense when Awakened.

Legend Reborn Super Saiyan God Goku

Legend Reborn Super Saiyan God Gou has evasion and critical passive that grants very high power in events that are not very long, and it can stay on for the full duration of the event.

Moreover, his linking abilities are good. And he will almost always achieve a complete boost from passive. However, his passive is very weak in long events, and he doesn’t fit well with top-tier units.

Ultimate and Supreme Fusion Gogeta

Ultimate and Supreme Fusion Gogeta possesses the most astonishing 12-Ki multiplier and can do wonders when linked with other fusion units. Additionally, he never has to struggle for Ki. While also dealing insane amounts of damage and being tankier than most.

Furthermore, his transformation conditions are simple and simple to complete easily, making him even stronger. Although there are some downsides to him, such as the problem of him needing a lot of build-ups to get a full boost, moreover, his Active Skill is not the best to use and understand and proves quite useless in some situations.

Furthermore, his transformation does not buff his additional or super attack. And he loses the “Prepared for Battle” link skill on transformation as well.

Fused Super Power Super Saiyan Goku And Super Saiyan Vegeta

The Fused Super Power Super Saiyan Goku and Super Saiyan Vegeta is a unit with amazingly strong base stats. Moreover, he has an excellent linkset. And the “Recovery” skill can save him even in unwinnable situations.

Although his transformation conditions are unattainable unless in very long duration events.

Azure Omnipotence Super Saiyan God SS Vegito

A very good unit with a great linkset, tanky stats, and high damage. He is very good overall but not good at defending himself unless launching a flurry of super attacks. Furthermore, there is no link skill of “Warrior Gods”.

Super Saiyan Gohan (Awakened True Power) (Youth)

Awakened True Power Super Saiyan Gohan has attainable Ultra Super Attack and Active Skill requirements very easily. Moreover, he has a good linkset with an infinitely stacking defense. However, the android option to link is Cell, but all of them do not link very well with each other.

Krillin And Gohan (Dilemma on the Battlefield) (Kid)

This unit is good at attacking as well as defending. Moreover, the active skill is easy to use and attain while also being quite effective. Although his conditions for transformations and linkset are quite bad.

B-Tier

The units in the B-Tier of this Kamehamehas tier list are mediocre. They are neither too strong nor too weak. They can be useful in buffing and linking with the top-tier units. However, they are not the best on their own.

Boiling Power Super Saiyan Goku

Boiling Power Super Saiyan Goku is an astounding tank unit that can also do good damage. He also has an okay linkset. However, he loses his Kamehameha since the Super Saiyan God form. Additionally, he also loses the Prepared for Battle link skill since Super Saiyan Three. And the next transformation to Super Saiyan Blue is too time-consuming.

Strength Beyond Gods Super Saiyan God SS Vegito

This unit provides an amazing linkset with very good damage and tankiness. He can also stack his defense indefinitely. However, he is useless in short events needing high amounts of buildup. Furthermore, the Prepared for Battle link skill is not available.

All-Piercing Fusion Power Super Saiyan Four Vegito (Xeno)

All-Piercing Fusion Power Super Saiyan Four Vegito is somewhat of a support-type unit. However, no one can completely befit from his support. Although he does have an amazing linkset with good damage and tankiness.

Perfect Form Cell (True Value)

This unit is very tanky, and his transformation can save you from some very difficult fights. He also completes Gohan’s transformation conditions. Additionally, he can easily win events with a lot of enemies and possesses an okay linkset.

However, his transformation can prove much more difficult to complete under some conditions. He struggles for Ki when against a single enemy or two. Furthermore, any other cells that try to link with him are way below his league.

Drive To Defeat Evil Pan

This version of Pan is an amazing tank with high damage. She can also prove good at stunning enemies. However, she relies on Goku GT to be paired with her. Her linkset is not very good, and she loses damage reduction after attacking.

Golden Fist Super Saiyan Three Goku

He has a decent linkset and needs support. Additionally, even after failing to do the Ultra Super Attack, he can keep on soaking up enemy damage. And after he gets the needed support, he can do devastating damage.

However, he debuffs himself after Ultra Super Attack. And his need for support is a major downside.

Hell Perfect Cell

Hell Perfect Cell has excellent links with other villains. And he can stack his defense indefinitely. Moreover, he can prove to be a good debuffer who is also good at healing. Additionally, this cell also fulfills Gohan’s transformation conditions.

Although he has no “Ultimate Life Form” link skill and cannot link with other cells as well as anyone else.

Bond Forged By Master and Disciple Ultimate Gohan Or Piccolo

Bond Forged by Master and Disciple Ultimate Gohan or Piccolo proves pretty tanky. While also dealing okay damage. They are a good stunner, but the attacks and defense do not work when not previously built up. They need support from another Universe 7 person plus needs stunners to achieve the maximum power.

Super Power Super Saiyan Three Goku (Limit-Breaking) (Xeno)

Limit Breaking Super Power Super Saiyan Three Goku links well with the Super Saiyan Three Goku (LR). Additionally, he proves to be good at stunning his enemies. Furthermore, he is one of the best tanks in the whole game.

However, he cannot do much on his own. He needs other heroes that can use him to get the full team to a good and strong position.

Mark Of Almighty Power Goku Black (Super Saiyan Rosé)

Super Saiyan Rose is a good tank as well as a good healer. He also possesses a useful “Rage Mode” and very high damage potential. However, the active skill is mostly unachievable. And he can not link with the team because he does not possess the link skill “Prepared for Battle”. Furthermore, he struggles for Ki, and his final blow does not work in many scenarios.

C-Tier

These units are of low quality. Not good at much except maybe one or two things. They should only ever be used when complimentary to the team as a whole, as they are pretty bad if relied on. 

The C-tier of our Dokkan Battle tier list is a top ten ranking of all Kamehameha units that are below average.

Miraculous Kamehameha Super Saiyan Goku

Does not have the Prepared for battle link skill. Proving his active and link skills to be quite useless. However, he does give SS2 Gohan Passive a boost and can heal himself.

Furious Kamehameha Super Saiyan Goten (Kid)

He is one of the best support when paired with Gobros (LR). And despite being a Ki changer support, he can still fend for himself if needed. However, the active and link skills are quite useless, being Shattering the Limit instead of Fierce Battle. Additionally, the Prepared for Battle skill is also not available.

Giant Ape Goku (Full-On Strike) (Youth)

The additional boost only gets activated after losing a lot of Health, and his linkset is quite bad. Moreover, Giant Ape Goku can tank well and deals good damage.

Ultimate Gohan Hero’s Return

It can stun and heal, and Ultimate Gohan also has a good linkset. However, he is a duplicate name for other summonable counterparts. Moreover, his category bonus is not very great.

Super Saiyan God Goku (Accelerated Battle)

There is no reason to use him, as he is just a mere shadow of his other LR version. Super Saiyan God Goku (Accelerated Battle) is worse in every way than the other Super Saiyan God Goku (LR).

Surpassing All Perfect Cell

Can not link with any units that are not Cells themself. However, he can burst enemies and also heal allies.

Super Saiyan Goku (Leaping Ever Higher)

The other Super Saiyan Gokus are much, much better. He has an absolutely abhorrent Ki multiplier and very low stats. The only thing he possesses is the ability to share a Blazing Battle with Gohan and Gotten (LR).

Hidden Majin Power Uub (Teen)

Hidden Majin Power Uub (Teen) provides decent support and tankiness. However, his linkset is bad, and he cannot even support buff after transforming.

Life Of Party Pan

It provides an okay linkset and some tanky stats, but that is pretty much it. She can not do much of anything except deflect bullets (because she is a Pan).

Epitome of Sublime Beauty Goku Black

His only usefulness is being a great linking partner for Goku Black (LR). Save that, he only gains Kamehameha after transforming, and he is very weak at the start. Requiring lots of time to get strong with the transformation conditions being far from easy to achieve.

D-Tier

The D-Tier is made for units that are the worst of the bunch. They are not good at anything at all; even their base stats are horrible. The units here should not be utilized unless there’s a need for them, and you know what you’re doing.

This tier of our DB tier list is a top 10 ranking of all Kamehameha units that are extremely bad or even unplayable.

Furious Instincts Great Saiyaman (SS2)

Does not have the Link Skill “Fierce Battle” anymore. Furious Instincts Great Saiyaman now does “Shattering the limit”, which is worse. Additionally, he provides no defense boost. However, he does have good attacks and an amazing linkset.

Gohan (Hope Super Saiyan) (Future)

Hope Super Saiyan Gohan can only use passive at low health. But he can stack attacks indefinitely and has a good linkset.

Burning to the Last Super Saiyan Goku (Angel) (Super Kaioken)

Burning to the Last Super Saiyan Goku never needs to struggle for Ki; it has a good linkset and decent damage. However, he is a JP exclusive card with no defense boost, and it loses health with each attack.

Super Saiyan Goku (Accrued Strength)

Accrued Strength Super Saiyan Goku provides a good linkset with okay support for INT LRs and a stunning possibility. However, cards like SSJ4 Goku and Gohan are debuffed by his Ki changing.

Gohan (New Generation Super Saiyan) (Youth)

It does not have the Link Skill “Prepared for Battle” but does give a boost depending on the number of Gokus in your team. It also possesses tankiness and self-sustainability.

Roar Super Saiyan Goku (Zealous)

Getting through K.O is highly unlikely, and the move is difficult to use. Additionally, this card has no defense boost. However, it does give another buff to SS2 Gohan’s passive and has an okay linkset.

Otherworldly Super Saiyan Two Goku (Angel)

Otherworldly Super Saiyan Two Goku (Angel) has an okay linkset and possesses decent sustainability. However, it has no passive boost unless in the third slot, and it only has a flat modifier.

Victory At Hand Gotenks

This Gotenks requires to be placed in the first slot to operate his passive fully. Yet, he offers nothing in terms of defense of links.

Magic-Clad Fighting Spirit Mira

Magic-Clad Fighting Spirit Mira has very low viability as his passive becomes unusable against the majority of the units. This is because it does not work against Super Class enemies. Additionally, it has an abhorrent linkset.

Love Of The Throne (Majin Buu Gotenks)

Love Of The Throne (Majin Buu Gotenks) has a very poor linkset with no defense buffs. And has the same name as a much better counterpart. It is a poorly made unit.

Latest Patch Notes

Last Updated: Version 4.14.3

These are the latest changes made in Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle Kamehameha that alter the character’s overall performance in the game.

• The character Father and Son’s Day Off Goku & Gohan (Kid) now have additional +2 Ki and +59% more defense overall. You gain 20% DEF at the start of each turn (up to 59%). When Super Attack is performed, you gain a buff of +59% ATK. If Ultra Super Attack is also performed, gain an additional +58% ATK. 
• All or Nothing Super Saiyan God SS Vegito is buffed by an additional +100% ATK and DEF and  now can increase his Ki by up to 10 times every time he loses his HP. When an Ultra Super Attack is Performed, there is a chance that it will also perform a Super Attack. When two “Future Saga” category characters attack in the same turn, it disables the enemy guard.

Kamehameha Cards In DBZ Dokkan Battle

The Kamehameha is, by far, the most popular attack in all of Dragon Ball history. It is a blue energy beam formed in between the hands of the characters and then thrown in the direction of the opponent. It is the very first energy or KI performed by Goku and has since been used by over half of the total characters in the whole series.

Furthermore, It is taught by Master Roshi and done by all the disciples of his school (Turtle School), i.e., Krillin, Yamcha, Goku, etc.

Many of the most dangerous opponents have been defeated by the wrath of a Kamehameha. Moreover, if you were wondering how the same move can defeat so many villains with varying power levels, you would be mistaken.

The Kamehameha Tier List is a ranking of kamehamehas in DBZ Dokkan Battle. More specifically, a ranking of all units that can perform the Kamehameha. This ranking has been made after hours of analyzing each of the unit’s strengths, weaknesses, stats, skills, linkset, and current viability. And comparing each of these factors between every unit.

Strengths

The strengths of the unit are the key factors due to which that unit has been ranked high on the tier list. If a unit is in one of the top tiers, then it is bound to have many strengths. They might seem specific, but these plus points accumulate and cause a unit to be top or bottom tier. The strengths and weaknesses of each unit have been listed in their descriptions.

Weaknesses

Contrary to strengths, the weaknesses of the unit are the key factors due to which a unit has been ranked low on the tier list. If a unit is in one of the bottom tiers, then it is bound to have more weaknesses than strengths. They might seem specific, but these negatives accumulate and cause a unit to be top or bottom tier. The strengths and weaknesses of each unit have been listed in their descriptions.

Stats

These are the base stats that have been assigned to the unit by the game. The base stats determine whether a unit is generally strong or weak. A unit with bad base stats can never be top-tier.

Skills

In Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle, the skills are mighty moves done by a unit. They can prove to be game-changing by turning the tide of battle. Different units have different Active Skills, Passive Skills, Link Skills, etc. Each of these types of skills plays a major role in how good, or bad the unit is.

Linkset

Linkset is how the unit cooperates and syncs with other units. Units with a good linkset bring the overall power of the team to a whole new level. A unit can not be top-tier with a bad linkset that brings the team down.

Viability
