Salt And Sacrifice Classes Tier List: All Ranked

Choosing a decent character class should be your utmost priority in Salt and Sacrifice. Our Salt and Sacrifice Classes Tier List will help!

It’s ok if you are confused while narrowing down your search through classes of Salt and Sacrifice. We mean, who won’t get overwhelmed if welcomed by eight top-class choices at the very beginning of the game? Don’t worry, though, as our Salt and Sacrifice classes tier list ranks all in-game classes, DPS or ranged, to help you make a wiser decision.

Key Highlights
  • Salt and Sacrifice divides its extensive character array into 8 different classes.
  • Each class features its own mix of Strength, Dexterity, Vitality, Endurance, and Arcana rating. Class rankings are based on exactly that.
  • While most classes are fit to handle a diverse palette of fighting styles, some are rather specific hence ranking lower.
  • Salt and Sacrifice classes that won’t give you a hard time playing include Paladin, Assassin, and Fighter. The best of all, however, only stands out to be Cleric.
  • The weakest class in Salt and Sacrifice in terms of versatility is Sage. Nevertheless, it must be your go-to if rendering magic attacks is your preferred domain.

With that said, we have hierarchically listed all the eight Salt and Sacrifice classes below. The ranking starts from classes that are the best in serving most play styles to classes that restrict to a specific genre only. Let’s begin!

Ranking All Classes In Salt and Sacrifice

Salt and Sacrifice Classes Ranked

Classes in Salt and Sacrifice ate to be chosen before you get the access to do anything further in the game. Each of the eight different classes has a different starting gear which primarily decides the user’s output in the initial hours of playing until they are allowed to pump up stats on their own.

The most crucial aspect to ponder on before choosing a class is the weapon type that you think will best accompany you. Some classes are compatible with ranged spells and weapons, while others prefer equipping shield and a melee armor only. Therefore, as said earlier, narrow down your choice as per the playstyle you most enjoy wielding.

In this Salt and Sacrifice classes tier list, we have discussed each of the game’s classes to make the task simple for you. There’s no best overall; however, we have tried placing the more versatile pick higher up in the tier as it will help players, especially the beginners, to know which class will better allow learning the different aspects of Salt and Sacrifice.

  1. Cleric

For beginners of Salt and Sacrifice, Cleric is simply the ideal choice on the list. It has robust starting stats and gets into running with a healing spell, consequently granting more than expected power over spells as well as HP. The rest of the points are almost equal, making Cleric a pure, well-balanced class.

Given that Cleric can support all types of weapons, it shows up as a versatile pick that holds the potency to sit well with any type of build. However, if you ask us in particular, Cleric is easily one of the best Salt, and Sacrifice ranged classes that is incredible in firing as many spells as you want.

Adding to this, the hybrid class wields pretty light armor, therefore, inducing a solid punch of agility to the game as it’s not overburdened with bulk and can easily curtail the risk of fat rolling.

What’s more? Clerics offers a one-of-a-kind self-healing option that helps you keep yourself nice and healthy through the shower of attacks that you may experience while on the go. The class’s initial defense is pretty low; hence we recommend pumping points into light armor.

Conviction5
ArmorHeavy Plate, Blindfold Bag, Pot Helm, Knight’s Vanguard, Throwing Axe

The fighter is a tanky, melee DPS class and stands apart from the rest due to its quality of being a straight-to-the-point hit dealer and heavy damage absorber. The class is known for its perfect balance between offense and defense and a massive collection of armor onboard.

A Fighter’s main stats include Strength and Endurance, which take the class’s weapon scaling to another level and help support heavy gear. The class begins with a Knight’s Vanguard, a D-scale, and a 100% block mitigation rate.

Players also get a Throwing Axe equipped with C-scale in strength. However, the Fighter class is initially slow and somewhat doesn’t combat well when ranged attacks are required. For that, it is recommended to pump in points into Endurance.

Melee-style players looking for a beefy, no-frills warrior, this class is definitely made for them. Fighter class can also be called one of the best Salt and Sacrifice DPS classes and is a great choice for those fond of trying various weapons and skills.

  1. Paladin

ArmorPalatine Cuirass, Blindfold Bag, Palatine Hood, Palatine Vanguard, Throwing Axe, Inquisitor’s Dagger

For players who tend to patrol around Salt and Sacrifice showing their huge Berserk-style high armor, Paladin class is for them. Heavy but slow weapons offered by Paladin are associated with the Strength builds and have some affinity for divine skills.

This includes a Vanguard as the starting weapon, which has a D-scale in Strength and blocks mitigation of 95%. The weapon also comes with the skill of swelling your damage resistance for some time. That said, beginners need to remain very cautious in timing out their hits due to the Weapon’s relatively slow swinging.

Paladin’s main stats will likely be Vitality to induce a solid health pool and pretty massive Endurance to improve equipment load and support heavy gear. Also, the class has got higher than usual Conviction, allowing players to cast.

Overall, the class is incredibly tanky and possesses a lot of sustain, and will allow you to bear a lot of damage. However, this comes at the cost of vulnerable Stamina. Maintaining Stamina with the Paladin class is pretty tough, but you can always pump up points into Will to catch up with that.

You may also increase your maximum equipment load by revamping the Endurance stat so you don’t get too slow while carrying heavy armor.

  1. Assassin

Strength5
Dexterity6
Vitality5
Endurance5
Arcana5
Will7
Luck5
Resolve5
Conviction5
ArmorDalen Armor, Blindfold Bag, Dalen Hood, Hunter’s Daggers, Throwing Knives

This class is for players who are fond of close combat and like the idea of having a speedy moveset, solid output damage, and comparatively practical combos. The Assassin is a very swift and agile killer from close to long-range.

Its high Dexterity allows it to carry robust combos and boast all weapon types. On the other hand, the class has got enough Will, too, in order to keep stamina intact while under intense attack. The Assassin class also possesses an incredible starting weapon.

This is the Hunter’s Dagger with S-scale Dexterity on offer and decent block mitigation of 60%. Players also get B-scaled Dexterity throwing knives. Overall the Assassin class excels in offense from pretty much every range.

However, this comes at the cost of fairly low defensive qualities at the start. Nevertheless, if you focus on improving your survivability along with pumping tonnes in the Dexterity stat, the Assassin class might definitely prove to be the best powerhouse class.

ArmorSteel Rapier, Sturdy Crossbow, Fencer’s Hat, Blindfold Bag, Fencer’s Vest, Cutthroat’s Dagger

Next up is the Duelist, a quick, close-range fencer who adjusts its attacks to lunge and fade depending on your inputs. The most likely primary stats of the Duelist class is Luck which aids in ranged attacks, and Dexterity which improves your weapon scaling.

Players get a Sturdy Crossbow and Steel Rapier as their main weapons. Though the complicated forward and backward movement of the Rapier might not fit everyone, it can sometimes help avoid damage after striking. Together these weapons make up for Duelist’s swift action pool.

Because Duelist’s main points prioritize damage only, a player’s main focus should be dealing damage only. However, don’t forget to keep a safe gap between you and the retaliator, as Duelist acts way too squishily initially.

  1. Highblade

Key Specifications

Dexterity6
Vitality6
Endurance5
Arcana5
Will6
Luck5
Resolve5
Conviction5
ArmorInquisitor’s Dagger,  Steel Blade, Wooden Shortbow, Highblade’s Hat, Blindfold Bag

The Highblade stands at the top of the best Salt and Sacrifice DPS classes thanks to its great Will, Vitality, and Dexterity stats onboard. It’s a pretty agile samurai-style class that is highly focused on the offensive.

This class will likely build out with high Dexterity, which takes its weapon’s damage rendering potential to another level, along with slightly higher hitpoints from Vitality and stamina from Will. Keep on pumping these stats, and you will make the class an incredible fit for you.

Players get a chance, to begin with, a Steel Blade coupled with a Wooden Shortbow. Both have excellent block mitigation and high scale in Dexterity. Overall the Highblade class is about getting up in the combat and quickly retaliating against incoming damage.

  1. Ranger

Key Specifications

Vitality5
Endurance6
Arcana5
Will5
Luck5
Resolve5
Conviction5
ArmorLeather Brigandine, Blindfold Bag, Ranger’s Hood, Hunter’s Cross Spear, Hunter’s Shortbow, Inquisitor’s Dagger

It is one of the easiest Salt, and Sacrifice ranged classes to start with. Players need to manifest fast movements and actions in order to resist the foes from coming nearer. However, Rangers aren’t too bad in close situations and may perform well depending on how effective the player is.

The class is well-rounded, light, and agile with awesome Dexterity onboard, which boasts the effectiveness of its main weapons. Rangers also start with a slightly higher equipment load thanks to the substantial Endurance stats.

As their initial weapon, Rangers possess the Half Spear, which has a decent Dexterity scale and block mitigation. This Half Spear is also paired with the Short Bow weapon. This is a jack-of-all-trades kind of class that’s neither too overpowered nor weak and fit to serve nearly all types of builds.

  1. Sage

Key Specifications
Strength5
Dexterity5
Vitality5
Endurance5
Arcana7
Will5
Luck5
Resolve6
Conviction5
ArmorIron-Band Stave, Channeling Rod, Dusken Hood, Dusken Tunic, Blindfold Bag

Sage is one of the highest Salt and Sacrifice DPS classes on the list, which is all about showering the opponents with magic attacks. Sage’s one-shot attacks can easily defeat those who are vulnerable to Arcana.

The class has decent melee combat skills onboard, fueled by substantial Arcana as its main stats that improve weapon scaling.

Other primary stats include Resolve to dictate your focus points. Sage’s main weapon is the Stave that’s B-scaled in Arcana. Though you won’t be getting any more than just 55% block mitigation with it, the Stave deals great damage by giving off three magical bolts.

It does this using its awesome skill that’s ranged. The ability is further coupled with Sage’s second weapon, the Channeling Rod.

The weapon fires ranged elemental damage toward foes at a distance. Overall the class appears to lack in the initial game but soon gains power as you head to the middle. To overcome its initial squishiness, we recommend swelling the light armor ability.

Our Take On Salt And Sacrifice Classes Tier List

This was all by our side to show you direction if you are caught by Salt and sacrifice’s rich class palette. The crux to all is to be very cautious and strictly stick to your likings and the weaponry, moves, and skills you take most interest in.

Because classes decide what you will be using at the beginning of the game, players should certainly not start their Salt and Sacrifice journey with a class that doesn’t align well with their style of play. A wrong choice may otherwise force you to begin the game again.
