Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Buffmeister Spell Farming

Our detailed guide on the Buffmeister Spell in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands and its best farming strategies after the 14th April patch.

The Buffmeister Spells in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is a rare family of legendary spells. This ‘spell’ is unique because there are multiple variations of it and each variation has a unique complement of damage buffs on top of a significant base buff.

Key Highlights
  • The Buffmeister Spell contains a bunch of legendary spells that can increase damage rate. You can obtain these spells by farming.
  • The best way to farm the Buffmeister Spell is in Chaos Chamber Trials. You can put your crystal in the Spell Bunny Statue for farming Buffmeister Spell. Increasing Chaos level and Loot Luck can also help you with the quest.

  • You can get the Buffmeister Spell inside Chaos Trial as a random drop reward. The most common bosses you can defeat are Zomboss boss found in Shattergrave Borrow, LeChance Boss found in Wargtooth Shallows and Kastor Boss in Tangledrift.

  • Defeating Kastor Boss is the best way to get Buffmeister Spell, as you’ll get 20 random drops from him.
  • Ambi-Hexterous can help you to activate two Spells at the same time. You can also activate the Buffmeister spell on both sockets easily.

The Base Stats of each Buffmeister Spell include:

  • Miraculum Spell: Self-cast around the owner
  • Critical Damage: 100% increase
  • Move Speed: 60% increase
  • Duration: 9-12 seconds
  • Cooldown: 28-34 seconds

  • Finally, Using the Buffmeister spell can give you a great amount of buffs on your current damage stats.

As explained above, the Buffmeister Spell refers to a whole host of spells with varying abilities on top of the same base effect (increasing the damage dealt and critical chance). The aura of uncertainty around this spell comes from the fact that it is a World Drop, i.e., it does not have any dedicated spawning area, nor are there any required missions/side missions to complete in order to obtain it.

The Buffmeister Spell can drop randomly, and thus the best way to obtain it is via farming. The best way to go about it is by maximizing your Loot Luck so that rarer items drop. Your Loot Luck plays a significant role in high rarity World Drops, so collect all the 260 Lucky Dice, complete the Overworld, go through Dungeon doors, and Shrine Challenges and get your Myth Ranks and Chaos Levels at least up to level 5 because you’re going to need all of it.

The Loot Luck in Tiny Tina’s Wonderland is calculated as follows:

Loot Luck BreakdownMultiplier
Myth Rank2.00x
Chaos Level1.80x
Shrine1.25x
Equipment1.6x
Lucky Dice3.00x
Lucky Dice Completion1.35x

Buffmeister Spells Farming Methods In Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands

Before embarking on your journey to obtain the Buffmeister Spell in Tiny Tina’s Wonderland, we recommend that you complete the game’s main story so that you have access to the highest possible levels of weapons and spells.

Chaos Chambers

Chaos Chamber Trials in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands
Chaos Chamber, unlocked after the end of the story and epilogue.

The simplest way to farm the Buffmeister Spell is in the Chaos Chambers Trials. The Chaos Chamber unlocks after the epilogue of the main story, and the Chaos Trials inside can be repeated multiple times. Get to the Chaos Trials and start farming until you get the Buffmeister Spell as a drop reward.

You can increase your chances by dumping your crystals into the Spell Bunny statues in the Loot Room. But this way is time-consuming and may get repetitive for some players, so farm here for as long as you can. If you do not get the Buffmeister Spell here, you will still have increased your Chaos Level and Loot Luck, which will help you in the quest for the Buffmeister Spell.

Below, we list three bosses with extremely high drop rates and a good starting point if you want high rarity World Drops (like the Buffmeister Spell in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands). Before you start farming bosses, note that the difficulty at which you fight the boss does not alter the drop rewards; it only changes the Gold and Moon Orbs drops.

Also, you do not have to continuously log out and log back in to get the boss to respawn. In Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, once you are done with a boss fight, you can give up your soul, which will transport you to Brighthoof. When you are there, turn around and go through the portal, transporting you back to the boss fight arena and respawn the boss. Also, learn about some secret bosses by reading our Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Secret Raid Location guide.

Zomboss Boss

If you choose to farm Zomboss 100 times with maximum Loot Luck, you may get 50 Legendries and 24 Dedicated drops.

LeChance Boss

Kastor also has a weirdly high World Drops and Dedicated Drops rate and has recently become the go-to boss to farm. If you choose to farm Kastor 100 times with maximum Loot Luck, you will get at least 70 Legendries and 20 Dedicated drops. Kastor is your best bet to get Buffmeister Spell in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. Ambi-Hexterous Spellshot Build In Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands

2455 damage dealt when using a Level 40 Ramming Buffmeister Spell with a Level 40 Iridescent Multiplying Elemental Blast Spell.

The Ambi-Hexterous skill allows you to equip two spells simultaneously. Once you have the skill, equip any high damaging, high-level spell of your choice on the left socket and the Buffmeister Spell on the right socket. Now, activate the Buffmeister Spell first and then the second spell of your choice. Our Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Skill Trees guide will help your sort or pick the best skills and create some of the best builds in the game.

During our Level 40 Iridescent Multiplying Elemental Blast Spell testing alongside a Level 40 Ramming Buffmeister Spell, our damage went from 500-600 to 2300+ damage.

Buffmeister Spells can also help you farm for other items. If you equip a Buffmeister Spell in each socket (provided you have more than one Buffmeister), you can go around, and clear boss fights in a blink by using your Buffmeister Spells alternatively.

Finally, that was everything you need to know about the Buffmeister Spell in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, their best farming strategies, their stats, and how to best utilize them. Buffmeister Spells not only make your gameplay exciting, but they are also exceptionally helpful when farming for other Legendries.

Jacketed Buffmeister Spell Card.

The Buffmeister Spell in Tiny Tina’s Wonderland is an orange rarity spell. Depending upon which enemy dropped the spell, Buffmeister Spell will have different prefixes, indicating the damage it increases and its type of Enchantment. However, all Buffmeister Spells will have the following base stats:

Effect NameDescription
Miraculum SpellSelf-casts around the owner.
Critical Damage100% increase.
Move Speed60% increase.
Duration9 – 12 seconds.
Cooldown28 – 34 seconds.

Apart from this, all Buffmeister Spell Cards have two of these four words: Zap, Bonk, Kchow, and Pew. These are not just onomatopoeic words; they also dictate how the Buffmeister Spell buffs certain damage-dealing classes. Moreover, all of Fatemaker’s damages receive a boost equal to the card value of the Buffmeister for the duration of the spell.

The following info about these words has been data mined from the game’s code (disclosed on Tiny Tina’s Wonderland’s Discord Server).

WordDetail of the buff
ZapSpell Damage increased by 80%.
BonkMelee Damage is increased by 80%.
KchowAbility Damage is increased by 80%.
Ability Critical Chance is increased by 65%.
PewHandling and Accuracy of the equipped weapon increase by 60%.
Reload Times are decreased by 40%.
Fire Rate is increased by 25%.
Recoil reduced by 60%.

The formula to calculate the damage percentage is “0.01898 x (1.09^item level) + 0.2 =”. The table above gives the stats for max level 40 Buffmeister Spell in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands.

Buffmeister Build In Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands

So now that you have the Buffmeister Spells in your possession, using them as-is will give you a considerable buff over your current damage stats. However, if you make a build specific to Buffmeister, you can get the most damage possible from your attacks.
