Skill Tree Progression

Graveborn Build Skill tree Setup
The Skill tree setup

The Graveborn Skill tree will serve as the centerpiece of our build. The action skill from the Graveborn Skill tree is not crucial for this build. Instead, I shall use the Action Skill from the Spore Warden skill tree. Let’s now discuss all the skills necessary to complete the build and the distribution of their respective points.

1. Mortal Vessel (2 Points)

Starting, we shall put two points into Mortal Vessel. This skill will get you started by increasing your overall HP and Dark Magic Efficiency.

  • The exact amount of HP and Dark Magic Efficiency increased after spending 2 points, which is 6%.

2. Faithful Thralls (3 points)

This skill is one of the essential skills in this build since this is where you start to develop your damage. Due to its importance, we shall advise you to unlock and maximize its rank as soon as possible.

The stats for this skill are as follows:

  • This skill increases your damage for every companion you have out. (+9% Damage Dealt per companion).
  • This skill Increases the companion re-spawn rate by 45%.

When making this build, you get an 18% damage increase just for having default companions (one for each class).

3. Harvest (3 Points)

Harvest is another skill (Kill Skill) from the Graveborn skill tree, which we shall max out. This skill aims to give our companions bonus Dark Magic Damage for a duration.

The exact stats of this Kill Skill are as follows:

  • This Kill Skill can Stack (2 stacks max.)
  • Duration 12 seconds
  • Bonus Dark magic Damage = +9.0% per stack

The above stats are after adding three points to the Kill Skill.

4. Dark Pact (5 Points)

We shall slowly start leaning into the Dark Magic-focused build with this skill. The Dark Pact increases your Dark Magic Damage. Once you spend 5 points on this skill, you shall have a total Dark Magic Damage increase of 20%.

5. Stain Of The Soul (5 Points)

The Stain of the Soul is very similar to Dark Pact. It gives your character a bonus Dark Magic Damage on Spells. Therefore, I shall increase the rank of this skill as much as possible (5 points).

  • Bonus Dark magic Damage = 20%

6. Dark Hydra (3 Points)

The Dark Hydra is a critical part of your Graveborn Build in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. As the name suggests, this Kill Skill gives you a chance to summon a Dark Hydra that Deals Dark Magic Ability Damage to your nearby enemies.

There is some probability involved here, which means that you will have a chance to get a Dark Hydra summon with every kill. Dark Hydras are mighty summons that can destroy any enemy you are up against.

The exact stats for this skill are as follows:

  • Chance to summon a Dark Hydra: 50%
  • Dark Magic Ability Damage: 315
  • Max Dark Hydras Spawned: 3
  • Duration: 10 Seconds

7. Punishment (1 Point)

This skill is essential to give a buff to your Demi-Lich Companion. Whenever your Demi-Lich casts a Hellish Blast, there is a 20% chance that the companion casts Hellish Blast will be again after a short time.

8. Ascension (2 Points)

Now it is time to give yourself another HP and Spell Damage buff. Although the buff is not passive, it can stack multiple times, and the skill’s duration is also quite reasonable.

Once you have put 2 points into ascension, the stats of this skill will be as follows:

  • Maximum Health Increased by (Per stack): +4.0%
  • Spell Damage Increase (per stack): +4.0%
  • Duration: 30 Seconds
  • Stacks: 10

9. Lord Of Edges (1 Point)

As the game says itself, “Hurts so good.” This skill is somewhat of a double-edged sword. It increases your Damage Dealt and Damage Reduction on lower Health. So, when you are low on Health, the damage you deal will be increased while the damage you take will be reduced.

  • Damage Dealt Increased by 25%
  • Damage Reduction increased by 25%

10. Morhaim’s Blessing (1 Point)

Morhaim’s Blessing is the final skill we shall unlock for our build in the Graveborn skill tree. This skill will activate all your Kill Skills when you cast a spell. With this, you have unlocked all the necessary skills for the Graveborn Skill Tree needed for your Graveborn Build.

Now, let’s move over to the Spore Warden Skill Tree.

Spore Warden Skill Tree

We recommend that you go entirely down to the last skill in the Graveborn Skill Tree and then move on to the Spore Warden Skill Tree. These skills will now complement your primary class skills from the Graveborn Skill Tree.

Action Skill: Blizzard

The reason why we are using this Action Skill from the Spore Warden skill tree will become apparent later in the Weapons Section.

For now, here are the details:

This Action Skill creates 3 Frost Cyclones for time. These Cyclones seek out nearby enemies, Dealing Frost Ability Damage over time.

  • Cooldown: 35 Seconds
  • Duration: 16 seconds

1. Kindred Heart (7 points)

Although the max points utilized on this skill are 5, you can use a class mod to break that limit. This skill is vital because it increases your Companion’s Health and Companion Damage. Since you will be utilizing your companions to the fullest, it only makes sense that you give them a health and damage buff.

  • Companion Health Increase: +63.0%
  • Companion Damage Increase: +56.0%

2.  Bullseye (5 Points)

Now that we have our damage and health buffs in place, we can focus on our Critical Chance, which is exactly what this skill does. It increases the Crit Chance for both you and your companions.

  • Gun Critical Hit Chance: +50.0%
  • Companion Critical Hit Chance: +50.0%

3. Affinity (4 points)

With your character and companion mostly done, it is time to increase the damage to your abilities. This skill increases the damage to all your abilities.

  • Ability Damage: +28.0%

4. Medicinal Mushroom (1 Point)

This skill is beneficial in the Chaos Chamber. When you are in “Save Your Soul,” your Mushroom Companion will try to revive you. If you are successfully revived, your companions will gain a 15.0% Damage increase for 10 seconds.

5. Wind Runner (3 Points)

The Wind Runner is perhaps the first Kill Skill we will unlock from the Spore Warden skill tree. This increases your fire rate and movement speed. This effect is not permanent; however, it can stack.

  • Fire rate: +12.0% per stack
  • Movement Speed: +12.0% per stack
  • Duration: 15 seconds
  • Maximum two stacks

6. Thrill Of The Hunt (3 Points)

This skill goes beautifully with Bullseye; it increases the damage to your companions every time your gun hits a critical hit. With all the skills stacking up, the damage dealt by your companions is exponentially increased.

  • Companion Damage Increase: +9.0%
  • Duration: 10 seconds
  • Maximum 10 Stacks

Hero Stats

Hero Stats Graveborn Build
An example of the Hero Stat Distribution for the Graveborn build.

Before I get into the options you have for splitting your Hero Points, we need to see what attributes must be scaled to perfect your build. To complement your build, I would recommend that you max out on Strength and Dexterity.

Your attributes will look something like this:

  • Strength (44/44): +42.5% Crit. Damage
  • Dexterity (34/34): +48.0% Crit. Chance

Now let’s move on to your options once you have maxed out your Strength and Dexterity in return for added Crit. Damage and Crit Chance. On the topic of Hero Stats, if you have accidentally wasted some of your hero stats, you might want to check Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Respec guide.

  • Tank Build: Start spending your points in Constitution, which will increase your Max HP/Ward.
  • Offensive Build: Consider investing your points in Intelligence, which will decrease your spell cooldown. This means you will be able to spawn more companions (Hydras), which is always good in my opinion.

Weapons and Gear For Graveborn Build

Here are my weapon recommendations for your Graveborn Build In Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. Although there are no strict boundaries to selecting your weapons, the choice of your weapon is essential. It would help if you had weapons that spawn companions. This means that you need all your weapons to have Feriore on them. Feriore is the ability to spawn companions.

If you are out there looking for some of the best weapons in the game, then read the Best Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Legendary Weapons guide.

Here are some of my recommendations:

Weapon 1

Fearnot of the Carver (Level 40, Rare, Feriore) Thrown Weapon becomes a gun with wings that shoots enemies before homing in and exploding. The flying Guns will scale from any gun damage that you have.

Weapon 2

Inspiring Fearnot of the Smith (Level 40, Epic, Feriore) Thrown weapon transforms into a Pixie Companion and shoots enemies before exploding. The Pixie companion will scale from any Ability Damage buffs in your arsenal.

Weapon 3

Flooding Knownot of the Champion (Level 40, Epic, Feriore) Spawns a standard Hydra that Scales from any companion damage boosts equipped. The enchantment on this weapon is why we went for Blizzard in our Action Skill. The description of its enchantment is as follows: After the Action Skill starts, you will gain a spell cooldown of 50.0% and additional Spell Projectiles for 5 seconds.

Since Blizzard has the highest duration in all Action Skills of your skill trees, we used it to maximize the use of this enchantment on your skill tree.

Gear

As far as your gear is concerned, I won’t restrict you to any special items. Here are some of my recommendations:

Rings, Shield, And Class Modifier

You will be fine if you keep the main idea of the build in your mind: spawn as many companions as you can and then boost their stats.

Due to this, your gear is fine if it is anything along the lines of:

  • Ally’s Class Ring of the Guttural Warning: (Level 40, Legendary) Companion Damage +14.1% or
  • Ally’s Annulus of the Lingering Dread: (Level 40, Epic) Companion Damage +17.1%

Basically, anything that adds to your companion’s damage is fine. The more companion damage added, the better the fit. The shield and class modifier also follow the same principle. However, there is one special spell that we would like to mention.

Luring Elemental Blast of Ruin

This level 16 epic spell might not seem as impressive at first look;  however, it is an excellent choice for a companion’s build since it spawns three hydras on impact.

Finally, that was all that you needed to know about the Graveborn build in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. Did you find this guide helpful? Will you be making any changes to the above recommendations? Let us know in the comments below.

As a final note, we would like to thank Triple G for the images and for giving us the concept of this build on YouTube.
