Key Takeaways
  • Multiclass is a combination of two classes that can help you increase your speed and give you access to both skills and feats of both classes.
  • To choose a secondary class, you must complete the Emotion of the Ocean” Challenge in the game.
  • Start the challenge by Crossing the Ocean from Weepwild Darkness and head towards Dragon Lord’s Fortress.
  • Make sure to complete all the side quests, defeat the Banshee boss, release the punch fairy, and move back to Brighthoof.
  • After finishing the concert in Emotion of the Ocean, Torgue will nuke the Ocean. Eventually, the Multiclass system will be unlocked.
  • Once this quest is done, you can use various powerful Multiclass combinations to provide better gameplay, including Clawbringer/Brr-Zerker, Graveborn/Sporewarden, Spellshot/Stabbomancer, Brr-Zerker/Graveborn, and Sporewarden/Stabbomancer.

What is Multiclass in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands?

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands has an option where you can select two classes and combine them. It will grant you access to the Feats and Skills of both classes. After you have chosen your main class, you can choose your secondary class from any of the five classes left. To see what class might be the best for you, read our Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands tier list.

The multiclass system lets you use two skills at once!

So the Fatemaker will have two sets of skills that they can utilize in combat. For instance, if your main class is a Spore wardens and you decide to choose Clawbringer as your secondary class, you can activate both the Wyvern and Mushroom companion at the same time!

In case you choose Brr-Zerker as your secondary class, the Spore Warden’s Blizzard action skills will give you the class Feat “ Rage of the Ancients”.

So when the Fatemaker becomes enraged, they can deal with additional Frost Damage along with the Rage of the Ancients. This will drastically enhance the Frost Cyclones formed by the Blizzard of the Spore Warden.

When you have unlocked the multiclassing in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, it would be up to you to decide what skill you would want to upgrade when you level up. The skill could belong to any of the classes and not just the main one.

However, the hero stats in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands would apply to both the classes of the Fatemaker. You can’t choose the background for your secondary class as it would be already implemented for the character you have.

How To Unlock Multiclass in Tiny Tina’s Wonderland?

When the game begins, and you pick your main class in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, you will see a small note on choosing a secondary class in the game. You will also see this option when you open the Respec menu for the first time at the Quick Change Machine. But to access the second class, you will have to unlock it first.

Requirements To Unlock Multiclass

You can unlock the multiclass in the game only if you’ve played at least 10 hours and progressed far enough in the story. After that, you need to complete the Emotion of the Ocean mission in the game. This mission will be unlocked once you are halfway through the main story.

You will unlock the ability to select a secondary class for your character as soon as you complete the mission. As soon as you select a secondary class, you will have access to that class’s First Action Skill. However, the second skill will unlock after you have reached level 18.

Completing Emotion of the Ocean Quest

The Emotion of the Ocean is the fifth quest in the main campaign of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. To complete this mission, follow the step-by-step process below.

First, make your way to the Weepwild Dankness. Search the area for a bard who will bless your ship. After the blessing, you can cross the ocean ahead and make your way to the Dragon Lord’s Fortress. The board that will bless your ship is called Mr. Torgue, who loves explosions and is a tough guy with a good heart.

The emotion of the Motion Quest

Now in the next step of our Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Multiclass Guide, travel and explore through the Weepwild Dankness while Mr. Torgue’s out-of-tune lute plays in the background. There would be a ton of side quests along the way. Make sure you complete all of them. Eventually, you will reach Banshee’s boss arena.

Defeat Banshee so you can release the Punch Fairy. The fairy is portrayed by Brick from the main Borderline Series. The Punch Fairy will then help restore Mr. Torgue’s lute and fix it. As a token of gratitude, Torgue will return to Brighthoof with you and bless your boat.

At this point in the Emotion of the Ocean, you have two options. You can either head directly back to the Brighthoof or explore the depths of the OverWorld.

However, we would recommend you go back immediately. Because once you complete the quest, you can access a lot of areas on the map.

You will find Torgue waiting for you at the Brighthoof docks. Upon your return, you will find that your support party members Frette and Valentine had some sort of a feud, which needs to be resolved as soon as possible. So in order to do that, Torgue decides to hold a concert.

At this point, you will need to summon three instruments by using the green outlines that will appear on your screen when Torgue calls out for them.

Once you have finished the concert in Emotion of the Ocean and reconciled the party, Torgue will be so full of Emotions that he will nuke the Ocean. He will use multiple missiles that would raise a high tidal wave that would level up everything in its path and open the seafloor along the northern side.

It will end the Emotion of the Ocean quest and unlock the multiclass system. There would be a message on your screen that will give you a brief tutorial on secondary class.

Best Multiclass Combinations

While you can combine any of the two classes with each other, some class combinations are really powerful. This section of our Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Multiclass Guide contains the best class combinations. Check them out below.

Clawbringer/Brr-Zerker

While Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands has several guns in it, the build is primarily for epic melee damage. With this build, you can combine the up-close fury of Brr-Zerker and Wyvern of the Clawbringer. You can also combine the ranged and melee attacks to deal heavy damage to enemies.

While the build focuses majorly on melee damage, it is very flexible. You can use some close-range guns like SMGs or shotguns. Weaken your enemy from the guns and use your melee weapon to smash them into bits.

Graveborn/Sporewarden

It might be the best class combination if you rely on your companions for most of the damage. While both the companions might distract you a bit, they will give you increased damage ability. You will also have several passive skills to enhance the damage and health of their characters.

You will have a Demi Lich companion and a Mushroom Companion at once. However, you can amp it up even more by using a gun that would summon a Hydra when you reload it. Now add the Dark Hydra skill to it. It will allow you to summon a Dark Hydra on kill, thus making your fights fairly easy.

Spellshot/Stabbomancer

If you find yourself in a battle with a lot of enemies to fight, the build can easily help you get through it. Spellshot build is the most optimal build when it comes to reloading speed as well as fire rated. You will also get bonus damage points.

While the Stabbomancer will give you increased melee damage and attack rate, your movement speed and other speed buffs would also increase drastically. You will deal significant bonus damage if the player is moving. So for a fast pace player, this build is definitely the best.

Brr-Zerker/Graveborn

The spectacular frost powers of the Brr-Zerker class will slow down your enemies, and the powerful melee strikes it offers can certainly bring down anyone. You can also use Dreadwind to get out of danger zones. The Graveborn class has the ability to inflict a very powerful dark damage area effect that will cost a chunk of the Fatemaker’s health.

Additionally, they have a Demi Lich Companion that deals with significant damage. In case you are worried about health loss due to dark damage, pair up with Brr-Zerker so that you can restore your health while dodging players.

Spore Warden/Stabbomancer

While you do get an awesome mushroom companion by choosing Spore Warden as your class that can deal damage through poison clouds, there are a lot of other perks too. You will also get to buff your gun damage and improve the barrage ability. You can land a lot of critical hits with Spore Warden, thus making it a perfect match for Stabbomancer.

Spore Warden’s poison damage ability is a plus point for Stabbomancer’s skills. Combine the constant movement with the epic reload speed and gun damage, and you will have a powerful build that can take down any enemy.
