Warzone Season 3 AMAX Class

For a long time, the Call of Duty: Warzone meta consisted of weapons that were from the Black Ops Cold War or Vanguard. These weapons overshadowed the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare weapons.

The AMAX is one of those few weapons that are not from Cold War or Vanguard, but it still managed to make it into Warzone’s meta. So it became necessary to welcome this weapon with the Best AMAX Class that is worthy of Season 3 of Warzone.

Since its Nerf in the Season 3 Reloaded, the overall performance of CR-56 AMAX has gone down. But still, you can overcome this by using proper Class. To test out these classes, you have a variety of attachments. The gun has a max level of 68. This means that you’ll have up to 68 different attachments to choose from.

To test out all of these attachments will take a lot of time. However, Warzone provides an accurate description of each of these weapons. But on paper and in-game, results won’t be as you’d expect. So to save you from checking different attachments, again and again, we’ve made up our Classes for AMAX in Warzone’s Season 3 Reloaded.

Speaking about testing stuff in Warzone, error codes such as Dev Error 6068, Dev Error 6178, Dev Error 6065, Dev Error 6039, and Dev Error 6070 recently got fixed by the player base and the developers. We highly recommend that you should check them out so that if you ever face such errors, you’d be prepared to solve them.

Anyways, most people will try to increase AMAX’s already high fire rate, or they’ll try to increase its damage. But these are futile as going for these will affect its accuracy. And in return, instead of increasing the damage dealt with enemies, you’ll be missing half of your shots.

Whereas in our case, we’ve gone with attachments that increase its overall accuracy. This is to make sure that we hit enemies enough to eliminate them once and for all.

The Good & The Bad

The AMAX has an interesting mechanism. It is a deadly weapon. That’s the reason why in Warzone Season 3 update, its base damage was nerfed. The Max Damage was decreased from 35 to 31 on each shot. At the same time, the minimum damage was decreased from 31 to 24. Although this affects its overall output, you should remember that this can be overcome by its superb fire rate.

CR56 AMAX in itself is a good AR. It lacks in a few things, and they affect its overall performance. The gun has an easy-to-learn recoil pattern. Once you learn this pattern, controlling AMAX will be easy. We’ll reduce this recoil in our classes of AMAX so that it won’t be hard for you to master its recoil.

What’s ‘Bad’ about the AMAX is that to make it a viable weapon, we’ll have to use attachments that reduce its mobility. To bring it back in meta and compete with rifles such as XM4, its range and accuracy must be increased. The Best AMAX Class in Season 3 of Warzone needs to have attachments such as a longer barrel. With that, other attachments must also benefit its overall range and increase it. Doing so will affect the AMAX’s overall mobility.

Best AMAX Warzone Season 3 Class

AMAX has a variety of loadouts for you to choose from. With well over 65 different attachments and five slots, you can imagine the different options of loadout you can get. So there aren’t any limitations on what you can get. Although there is a limitation, and that is of the weapon level. If your weapon level isn’t high enough, you won’t get attachments of that level and above it.

You can’t just pick any of these attachments and make a loadout and call it the Best AMAX class for warzone season 3. There needs to be a check and balance to ensure you don’t pick attachments that cancel out each other. That’s why we have these complete loadouts of AMAX prepared.

AMAX Warzone Loadout 1

AMAX's 1st loadout in Warzone's season 3

For the first loadout of AMAX in Warzone, we’ve decided to go with the following attachments.

  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Barrel: XRK Zodiac S440
  • Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
  • Magazine: 45 Rounds Mag
  • Optics: PBX Holo 7 Sight

Why this Class of AMAX

AMAX 1st class in Warzone Season 1

The Monolithic Suppressor is so good that you can fit it on almost all of the weapons in Warzone and get good results. It increases the already-low damage range of AMAX and gives it a boost in bullet velocity.

To increase its range more, we’ve selected the XRK Zodiac S440 as the Barrel. It is a long barrel, so it helps out with the bullet velocity and damage range. In addition to that, it is quite helpful to control the recoil on AMAX. To have a higher control on the AMAX, we’ve decided to go with the Commando Foregrip. This Underbarrel attachment helps stabilize the recoil on the AMAX and provides it with aiming stability.

As for the Magazine, the 45 Round Mags seems like the perfect choice, as it lets you stay aggressive in the fights for a longer time. As for the optics, we didn’t feel like there was a need to have zoom on the AMAX, so we went with the PBX Holo 7 Sight.

Secondary Weapon

For the AMAX, choosing the secondary weapon wasn’t that hard. We took one look at AX50 and decided that it was the best weapon to go with AMAX. Why not? Everyone has been using the AX50 since its recent hitscan bug, and since then, it has become the weapon cool kids talk about.

Since the AMAX falls back when it comes to long-range battles, we decided to take the AX50 build that is made for long-range flights. So that whatever the distance between you and your next target is, you can easily take the shot. The build we decided to go with can be found in our AX50 loadout.

  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Barrel: 32” Factory Barrel
  • Laser: Tac Laser
  • Stock: Singuard Arms Assassin
  • Rear Grip: Stippled Grip Tape

Perks

To make this class of AMAX viable in Season 3 in Warzone, these perks work perfectly.

  • 1st Perk: Cold-Blooded
  • 2nd Perk: Overkill
  • 3rd Perk: Combat Scout

While you’ll be hiding from your enemies, the last thing you’d want is to be detected by the AI-Targetting system. The Cold-Blooded perk seems to overcome this problem easily as it makes you undetectable to them.

To carry two primary weapons, the AMAX and AX50, you need to have the Overkill perk. This perk allows you to carry two primary weapons at once. So the AMAX can take care of close-range fights, whereas AX50 will come in handy in long-distance battles.

Combat Scout perk is quite handy as it is a recon perk. It gives the player the ability to keep an eye on the enemy. For that, it automatically pings the enemy if you deal damage to them. You’ll have to inform your teammates about the enemy location, as it works only for you.

Equipment

  • Lethal: Molotov Cocktail
  • Tactical: Snapshot Grenade

The Molotov Cocktail is a great lethal piece of equipment. It is thrown like a grenade, and as soon as it contacts the surface, it explodes and then sets the ground on fire. Its explosion and flames are deadly to enemies and you too if you’re not careful.

As for the Snapshot Grenade, it helps locate enemies. The Grenade will bounce off the surface until it comes to rest. Then, the propeller on the grenade will lift it mid-air, and then it’ll explode with a flash of light. This flash of light will highlight enemies location.

AMAX Warzone Loadout 2

AMAX's 2nd loadout in Warzone's Season 3

As for the second loadout for AMAX, we had a hard time finding some reliable classes for AMAX. That is because the first loadout and class of AMAX are so good that it’s hard to find a good substitute. After a long time spent in trial and testing, we finally got a class worthy of being called the best AMAX class in Warzone Season 3. Here’s how it goes.

  • Muzzle: G28 Compensator
  • Barrel: XRK Zodiac S440
  • Optics: PBX Holo 7 Sight
  • Underbarrel: Tactical Foregrip
  • Gun Perk: Frangible – Disabling

Why this Class of AMAX

Although the first class of AMAX is as good as it gets, this is for players who want to try something new. So if you’re tired of that one, you’d love to try this one out.

The G28 Compensator is designed to expel the gasses upwards to reduce the muzzle climb. In doing so, it helps control the recoil. It decreases the ADS speed and aiming stability. The XRK Zodiac S440 is a good option for AMAX, so we decide to reuse it for this build. It increases the overall bullet velocity. In doing so, it improves the damage range and provides recoil control.

As for the PBX Holo 7 Sight, it helps improve the accuracy and range. And slightly reduces the control and mobility. Whereas the Tactical Foregrip improves aiming stability.

And finally, the ‘Frangible – Disabling’ Gun Perk slows down enemy’s movement speed as soon as your bullets hit them. And if you hit enemies while this perk is equipped, it will disable the tactical sprint of the players.

This loadout reduces the movement speed of the player. To overcome that, the Gun Perk will slow down enemies, giving you plenty of time to take out enemies. G28 Compensator will ensure that you have better control of recoil while shooting enemies. Overall, this is the second Best AMAX class for Season 3 of Warzone.

Secondary Weapon

For the secondary weapon, we’ve decided to go with the Swiss K31. This Sniper Rifle covers the long-distance targets, which AMAX fails to do. Swiss K31’s overall popularity has fallen a little. But it is as effective as you would expect it to be.

For its loadout, we’ve decided to go with the following equipment.

  • Muzzle: GRU Suppressor
  • Barrel: 24.9” Combat Recon
  • Laser: SWAT 5mw Laser Sight
  • Stock: SAS Combat Stock
  • Rear Grip: Serpent Wrap

Perks

Equipment for 2nd loadout of AMAX

The Perks that are suitable for this class of AMAX are:

  • 1st Perk: E.O.D
  • 2ndPerk: Overkill
  • 3rd Perk: Amped

E.O.D perk will reduce the damage taken from non-killstreak explosives. It will ensure that you don’t die from them easily. Whereas if you pick up a frag grenade to throw back at enemies, its fuse will reset.

The Overkill perk comes in quite handy if you plan on having an AMAX loadout with two primary weapons, as the Overkill perk allows you to carry two primary weapons at a time.

The Amped perk is like the Fast Hands in previous COD games. It allows the player to swap between weapons faster or use equipment faster. And if the player is carrying a launcher, it’ll ensure that you reload it faster too.

Equipment

  • Lethal: C4
  • Tactical: Heartbeat Sensor

C4 is good Lethal equipment if you know how to utilize it. You can plant it onto vehicles and when enemies get on it, simply trigger it. Or you can place it in tactical places like hallways and trigger it when enemies come in. Overall, it is good equipment, and you’ll have to practice with the placement.

As for the Heartbeat Sensor, it will go well with this class of AMAX in Warzone Season 3. As you’ll have a slower movement speed, you can use the Heartbeat Sensor to check where the enemies are and chase them down.

Call of Duty: Warzone is an interesting game. Its Battle Royale mode has furnished a lot over the years. And that is thanks to the interesting loadout opportunities. These loadouts and classes keep the game interesting. Players get to try out different combinations of attachments on their favorite weapons.

You should try this Class of AMAX in Season 3 of Warzone, as it will make the gun worth testing out. We’re sure that you’ll have an amazing experience while in battle.
