To stay at the top of the food chain in the Way Of The Hunter, you have to explore the world. On exploring the vast world, players will find landmarks, collectibles, and campsites. Their location is very convenient too for players as it is in Nez Perce Valley; easy to get there as you spawn very near to the location.

There are several types of Deer available in-game for players to hunt down. However, some are worth more money than other animals. If you are just starting out, we would suggest you mostly focus on Whitetail Deer.

Unfortunately, finding a Whitetail Deer is a little harder than finding a common Mule deer. But Whitetail is really worth the trouble as you get much more money. It should be noted that the payout depends upon the quality of the kill, but a normal Whitetail will get you $600 on each kill. While killing a Common Mule Deer will only give you close to $500.

Rifles and gun attachments cost nearly $800 each, and the unlocking area will cost up to $2500. So, it is best for players to make money by hunting Deer to meet requirements. Also, players should know that Bucks specifically get you more profit. However, hunting only Bucks, in particular, might cause an imbalance in their population.

You should hunt all animals equally to balance the nature of the wild. Moreover, focusing only on female animals will also cause a lot of trouble, as the population of animals will suddenly drop.    

Trick To Get Money Faster

The first thing you need to do is to get a hunting tier 5 rifle, or this method will not work. Now you need to move to a campsite location that is high above the ground there, and you will need to click on the campfire and change the time.

Now every time you change the time, you should stop and use hunter sense to see if any animals are spawning near your location. There you will see a herd of big horn sheep or sometimes a mountain goat spawning there. Note that sometimes even changing location does not spawn animals, so you need to try it again.

This is where the fun begins, and you have to hunt animals with your tier 5 rifle now. Always aim for the head, as it will give you more money, and the success rate of killing the animal is also high. Shooting the animals in the other parts of the body will damage their carcass, which will lower their value.

There you will see both Mountain Goat and Sheep, so go for Mountain Goat as it will be high paying. You can repeat the process again until you run out of ammunition. After that, go into the field and collect the carcasses for money.
