It is one of the first secret area locations that you will be able to access in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Transcendent Retreat is equally beautiful to look at but extremely challenging to get to. But to be very honest, the emerald green grass and the fluffy grey clouds truly make up for all the hardships you will have to endure.

And this is not just our opinion; many, if not all, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 hardcore players agree with it. So now that we have your attention, you might be wondering how you will even find the hidden area. Well, do not worry; we have it all mapped out for you.

Finding the area may be challenging for players if they do not know where to look. Well, think about it. That is, after all, the main point of having a secret location. But do not fret; you will be able to find the location with our directions.

First of all, you will have to play through Chapter three of the game. Yes, we know it is a bit frustrating that you can not get to the location instantly. But hey, the wait is just going to make the fruit that much sweeter.

Secondly, after you have made your way to chapter three of the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 game, what next? You will make your way to the infamous Colony Four command. It is here that you will meet up with the infamous Ethel.

You will interact with them, after which you can move forward. The OG players might be catching on to what will happen next. Which, in fact, is the start of the “Beyond Power Side Quest.”

As you can guess, the side mission is situated in the Aetia Region. It is particularly heading north from a camp area in the Gura Flava Lowlands.

You will have to fast travel to the Hillside Ferronis Hulk, which is where your crew found their first deserted fabricator in Chapter 2, assuming that by some chance, you have not yet found this section of the map.

From there, simply bridge the river past Luca’s Eyot and go north. Once you come across a natural rock formation leading uphill, continue moving northwest. After that, continue on the way till you reach Kilmarris Highland. Follow the trail until you reach a cave on the west side.

What Happens After You Have Reached The Cave

It is here that you will master the Scree Walking. Which, in fact, is no ordinary type of walk. Why, you may ask? Well, the thing is that you need it to find the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 secret area locations.
