LEGO® Disney•Pixar’s The Incredibles announced

With The Incredibles 2 killing it at the box office, generating records equivalent revenue, one may wonder what the franchise’s next step may be. The answer to this question was answered by Warner Bros. Interactive, TT Games, The Lego Group and Disney & Pixar when they announced The Incredibles.

The game, not being the first one of its kind, is situated in the lego world. The trailer was released by Warner Bros. UK and can be seen below

The game depicts the Parr family in the magical world of Lego with the player being able to play and interact with characters from both the Incredibles and Incredibles 2. Tom Stone, Managing Director, TT Games Publishing said, “LEGO® Disney•Pixar’s The Incredibles brings together all the unforgettable characters, action and humour of the Incredibles films in an imaginative LEGO®world of non-stop adventure”. He also added, ” Players will undertake an epic journey across action-packed levels from both movies as they guide the superpowered Parrs in their quest to fight crime while surviving family life”.

About the new game, it would be consisting of challenges and mini-games, relatable by anyone playing it, making it a truly family-friendly title. Not only that, it would contain new characters and villains, never before seen. “Fans will explore their favourite locations from the first film, as they battle Syndrome on Nomansian Island and discover new exotic destinations such as the mysterious New Urbem”, said Lisa Anderson, VP, Games, Disney. Since it is a family-oriented game, players would be encouraged to work together, using the Parr family, in order to fully utilize the superpowers that they hold, tapping into their true potential. In addition to this, players will be able to create their own superhero, giving him powers and abilities of their liking.

The game is set to release on 13th July, this year, in UK. It will be available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
