Why Was Metroid Prime 4 Not Shown At E3 2018?

Metroid Prime 4 was not shown at E3 2018 and if you were wondering why that was the case then you have come to the right place.  We also have more information regarding the Nintendo 64 Mini, Reggie Fils-Aime talked about the matter and the following is what he had to say:

“Last year was important to us to message to the Metroid fan that there was a Metroid Prime experience in development, as we showed Metroid: Samus Returns for the 3DS. We didn’t want that fan to say ‘You just launched a new system, when are you going to bring me a Metroid on that platform?’ We said it was coming. This year, with so many games launching effectively between [now] and the first half of next year, we wanted to focus on those games. Rest assured, Metroid Prime 4 is still in development and proceeding well.”

Nintendo 64 Mini is something that fans have been wanting but Nintendo has been very silent regarding the matter. Reggie Fils-Aime talked about the highly anticipated console and the following is what he had to say about it:

“Look, we know that our fans love our legacy content. Being in this business 40 years, we know we have a lot of content we can surprise our consumers with. We’re aware of it, and stay tuned. Right now the focus is let’s make sure that we give the consumer that wants NES Classic the chance to pick it up again. I believe we’re also going to have a strong holiday with SNES Classic as well.”

Metroid Prime 4 is a highly anticipated game that will be coming out for the Nintendo Switch and it will be interesting to see what kind of benefits the game can reap from the new hardware. While there is little that we know about the game right now. You should stay tuned for further information regarding Metroid Prime 4.

The Metroid Prime 4 will be an upgrade keeping in mind the previous games and the system that the games ran on. It is safe to say that Metroid Prime 4 has a huge nostalgic factor. We will see how the game turned out to be.
