PDP comes out with Nostalgic Controllers for the Switch

It is true what they say, “Once a gamer, always a gamer”. Perhaps in the journey from playing 2D games and transitioning through times to say, Virtual Reality-based titles seem nothing short of a giant leap in a minuscule period of time. Even then, some people preferred the “olden” ways. Some people want that limit that was set by older gaming consoles. Capturing this exact feeling, PDP announced its new line of controllers just in time for the upcoming Nintendo classic for the Switch, Super Smash Bros Ultimate.

PDP has been known for it other controllers for the Switch, making them quite a credible source to get this particular hardware. The company has aimed at the nostalgic nerve of many gamers by making the controller in the same pattern as the one for the GameCube. It is true that this was done on purpose to pay homage to the original console to support the game, Super Smash Bros.

Currently, the design has been strictly followed, as showcased, from the GameCube controller. The controllers, to link them clearly to the game, are coming out in various themes such as the Super Mario theme and the Zelda (link) theme and also a Pikachu themed controller is available. For now, no particular details have been given for the release or the price of these wired but one of a kind controllers but this is for sure that people, especially hardcore fans would definitely want to pick these up.
