Gabe Newell

Known affectionately as Gaben, Gabe Logan Newell serves as the president of Valve, a renowned businessman in the gaming industry. Born in Colorado, he attended Harvard University in the 80s but dropped out to join Microsoft, contributing to the early versions of Windows OS. With experience gained at Microsoft, Newell founded Valve and funded their first game, Half-Life. He expanded Valve’s services, notably with Steam, one of the most popular digital storefronts on PC.
