We can’t leave Kirby out when we talk about legendary platformer franchises. Throughout its existence, the franchise has sold over 40 million copies worldwide, making it one of Nintendo’s most significant products. It is also a popular name in gaming pop culture and makes its parent company a lot of money in merchandise.

Kirby is only getting more popular as the years go by. Last year’s Kirby and the Forgotten Land was the best-selling title in the series, beating the first game after 30 years. Hence, the franchise is showing no signs of slowing down, and with Nintendo Switch’s popularity, it will only grow.

The upcoming Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe will definitely help with this goal. A remake of the original, which came out in 2011, the game will release next month. Excitement for it is already high, but a new piece of info will make the fans want it even quicker.

A user on the r/GamingLeaksAndRumors leaked a picture of Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe box art. Specifically, this was a picture of the back of the Nintendo Switch box art for the upcoming game. This rear-side view of the box has given us an interesting new detail about the game.

Magolor will be the center of an epilogue in Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe, according to this box art. Developer HAL Laboratory hasn’t announced anything regarding this additional epilogue quest. So, this is stunning new info for the fans.

The original game did not have this epilogue, so it is a brand-new addition. No extra info is present on the cover beside the “Magolor Epilogue” title. A single sentence under the banner says, “Brave an extra quest after the ending,” with something written in French below.

It could be that an announcement regarding this will be made before the game releases. Nintendo may have a new Direct before the platform remake hits stores. But that is just speculation, and like any leak, this can turn out to be false.

Besides this rumored epilogue, Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe will have a lot of new stuff. New sub-games will be part of the remake, and the leaked box art also highlights this. In addition, you will have a new Mecha Ability and a new visual style resembling comic books.

So, we have a lot to look forward to in Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe besides the goodness of the original. Every mode in the remake will support up to 4 players, making room for your friends. Therefore, even if this epilogue leak turns out to be false, the platform game has a lot in store.

Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe will launch on February 24, 2023, only on the Nintendo Switch. The potential of new Kirby lore in the form of this epilogue has hyped us up even more. Hopefully, this does end up in the final game, and we get to see Magolor again.
