Resident Evil 2’s remake: Graphic changes to characters

When CAPCOM took upon its shoulders to recreate one of the most famous and scary games, Resident Evil 2, it had to not just create a port for newer devices but to reanimate and redefine it for newer generations while maintaining the originality of the title that came out back in 1998 for the original PlayStation.

Since that is the case, the development of Resident Evil 2’s remake has taken interesting turns. While developing characters and the main part of any Resident Evil related piece of media format, the monsters, the developers really went with an interesting approach with their visual characteristics. The latest trailer for the title just came out, showcasing the story and many of the monsters that some of us saw back in the late 90’s as we were spooked by the gameplay that Resident Evil 2 gave. The trailer can be seen below

Dubbed as the story trailer, it goes on the reveal the same story of Dr Birkin who mutates into a monster with a giant eye protruding from his shoulder. The visual appearance, apart from his visually superior looks from the ’98 title, fashion-wise, there has also been an impact. From his shirt style to his belt buckle, everything has been revamped.

For the rest of what is in store, people have to wait for the game’s final release sometime in the January of 2019.
