Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Players Are Turning Link Into A Bomber Pilot

A jet bomber can pretty much deal with all the problems plaguing the Hyrule Kingdom.

Story Highlights

  • The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom players have crafted many variations of jet bombers that can fly through the enemies, carpeting them with bombs and lasers.
  • The community is coming up with ingenious ways to deal with various shrines and enemies, dropping bombs on them instead of arrows to finish the ordeals quickly.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom already harbours a creative community that has started using empirical ways to whip up ingenious contraptions. From diving into the Depths to rising up to the sunlit skies of Hyrule Kingdom, Link has become adept at thoroughly trekking the vast esthetic lands due to the crafty players. Reddit users have been taking to the airspace to deal with a slew of foes and bosses by creating robust jet bombers.

The player FriendlyBergTroll on the official Zelda subreddit crafted a goliath of a flying weapon using their wits, turning Link into a Bomber pilot. Using the powerful balloons to take flight, the user took Link to the sky to bomb the confused enemies relaxing on a ship amid the islands. Link could wipe the slate clean by hurling bombs at them, causing them to die without knowing what hit them.

Regardless, they are far from the only user that has adopted similar ways. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is loaded with creative minds finding ways to take flight. The Reddit user Crappy2DollarGamer was able to craft a scarier version of the jet bomber, using plasma beams to rain down on the poor enemies’ camp and eradicate it from existence. Link could kill the enemies in mere seconds, flying away in style as batteries gave up.

While using these flying vehicles laced with bombs in an open field may seem like a good idea, depleting batteries can be a real nuisance, especially in early gameplay. Fortunately, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom shrines let players utilize unlimited battery power.

The Reddit user DastardlyDuce took advantage of the situation and raided the Shrine of Light with a savvy jet bomber. Link mercilessly carpeted the map with a layer of bombs by circling over the poor enemies. Many players have spent nearly an hour completing this specific shrine, but a jet bomber arguably proved the most logical method to clear the challenge.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom players are coming up with hilarious ways to deal with the shrines and all the mini-puzzles sprinkled in the lands of Hyrule. What seems to take hours has been solved in a few minutes through wits and happy accidents. The title was released on May 12, 2023 for the Nintendo Switch, but it is possible to emulate the entry on the PC. It is already the best-rated title of all time on OpenCritic.
