Talk about some serious monkey business. Black Myth: Wukong is a Soulslike action-adventure RPG on a good day, but that’s not how Chinese modder “f布布u” sees things through. In a bizarre turns of events, this user uploaded a video on their Bilibili account, showcasing what they’ve done to the game. You gotta hand it to the person—the mod is extraordinary.
You could say that the journey went a bit too far to the West here. Users are now also asking the modder to add more weapon types to the mod, essentially turning it into a full-fledged first-person shooter. Not sure how that’s going to play out.
How To Download The Black Myth: Wukong First-Person Mod
Fortunately for curious fans, the modder in question has outlined a method to download the FPS mod for Black Myth: Wukong. They outline the steps necessary in a separate video here, but you will need to watch until the end to fully understand it. As with the installation of every mod, make sure to have a backup of your save files just in case, because you never know when and where things could go wrong.

Black Myth: Wukong was released on August 20, 2024, for the PlayStation 5 and PC, with an Xbox Series X|S version still in development. The game has rolled over 20 million units in its first month of release, subsequently garnering a huge player count as well. It’s effectively put large AAA studios to shame, scoring an 81 rating on Metacritic with an 8.3 user score on the platform.
